It sure is freezing here today too ,this room where we have our computers is like an ice box .It is on the north side of the house but we only have an electric fire in here which is not much good with all the cold drafts blowing around . It snowed here last night but cleared away by lunch time ,although the downs are still white with snow they look very pretty indeed .

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! It IS cold innit Larry! Dead as a door nail on here at the moment. I've only just popped in for a quickey shuffty, but I can't stay for long as we've got visitors. Yeh, there's been some nasty 'goings on' around one or two sites recently. Bob is huffed, and he is quite likely to set Rover free on the moron who raided his site,...so if it's a 'he' he'd better slap a pair of trouser clips on his trouser bottoms, or else he'll be minus his manhood before he can butter his bread. If it's a 'she' I think she had better think twice before invading Bob's site in the future 'cos Rover can be devastating where females are concerned. Ho! Ho! Ho!
Anyway, Larry I hope you've still got your fur coat on,...'cos if you had been sheared recently I could weep for you, as it's perishing cold innit!

How are you all coping with this freezing cold weather ,it is perishing cold here at the moment .Although I suppose we must not moan it is nothing compared to the weather they are having in USA at the moment ,seeing the pictures and reports on the TV it looks dreadful out there . They say it could be heading this way ,time for me to hibernate under the duvet I think till it's all over.

We had a nice break in Glasgow, I love the snow and it's always cold up there so we go prepared, Wellies,Duffle coats and a shovel lol

I see on TV today that they reckon it has been the mildest January for a few years.
The next problem we will have is the bulbs will be up early then we get a very hard frost that kills then all.

Brrrrrrr again . What a day we have had here weather wise ,it is absolutely freezing . This morning we had an awful hail storm followed by a heavy down pour of snow Thought we were in for a blizzard the way the wind was blowing . But within half an hour the sun was shining like a summers day and all the snow melted ,weird or what !!!!!!! Lots of my daffodils had come into flower now they are all laid flat on the ground .:-( :-(

'Ow're iw doin Larry my old 'chop'...sorry 'bout that Larry, not a very nice joke is it but I know you won't take it to heart, 'cos I only intended as a giggle really. Cold in them thar fields these days eh Larry! Brrrrrr! And BG had a fright this morning...snow and sunshine in Swindon on a Sunday morning. Very confusing...snow and a blistering wind, and then sunshine to raise their spirits. Well Larry my old woolly friend (better than a chop innit,) seeing as I won't see you now till next Sunday (God willing) have a little tipple on me. Hold your glass steady now,...you're shaking mun Larry! Hold the glass still now, I cant afford to spill this Baileys. Ready now, OK...blwb, blwb, blwb, blwb. I can only let you have a single tonight 'cos I'm running short. Sip it slowwwwwwwwwwly now, smoooooooth innit Larry, that would knock you back a fiver in a La-Di-Da pub in Torquay. Ho! Ho! Ho! I'm spoiling iw aye!

I can't believe these weather forcasters ,I have just seen the weather forecast for the weekend and they say now it will be sunny and dry !!!!!!!! I give in , my bit of seaweed , pine cones and my rheumatism can tell me more about the weather than the weather people ,in future I will just wait until I wake up each morning and look through the window .
So Larry can now stick his woolly jumper back in the cupboard .

All I can say BG is that whoever said that must have been holding his weathermap upside-down ! It's b***** FREEZING here at the moment, I normally don't feel the cold much when I'm indoors, in fact I'm always having arguments with my Mother because she turns the radiators up and I turn them down again ! But for the past week or so I've felt really chilly (so chilly in fact that I keep coming out in goose-pimples) so if I think it's cold it MUST be cold ! In fact, I've just looked out of the window and it's SNOWING ! So don't all rush down here at once expecting it to be warmer, as I think you might be VERY disappointed |

At Last the weather has warmed up a bit here ,we had rain over night so all the snow has gone ,thank goodness . Roll on the spring so we can get out in the garden and enjoy all the spring flower that are all starting to flower ,all the daffodils that the snow flattened have all perked up again , makes you feel good to see their yellow heads bobbing in the breeze .I always remember the beautiful show of daffodils there use to be in St. Johns church yard in Aberdare ,a lovely sight as you drove into Aberdare on the bus from Rhigos . :-) :-) |

That reminded me of a joke.Did you hear about the bloke who went to the doctors because he had smelly feet? The doc told him to make sure he put on a pair of clean socks every day and if that did'nt help come back to see him in a fortnight. Two weeks later the bloke phoned the surgery and said his feet smelt worse than ever but he could'nt get to the surgery so could the doc come out to him?The doc asked him why he could'nt come to the surgery, was it because his feet were too painful? The bloke said no, it was just that he could'nt get any of his shoes on over 14 pairs of socks!!!!!!!!!!!!!FOfl |

We had a bitter cold day yesterday ,woke up to an inch covering of snow everywhere and we had to go out in it to get the shopping .Brrrrr .It all vanished by the afternoon . Today has been much warmer with sunshine all day quite pleasant in fact ,made me think spring had arrived even the birds were chirping in the garden. |
