Thanks, thanks, thanks to you all for your good wishes. I am touched, at the very thought of my hometown folk remembering that I am 2 score and 42 today. Ho! Ho! From 9.30 this morning nearly all my grandchildren, and Liz's sister and niece and nephew, and their kids have been in and out of here....like it is in Debenhams two days before Christmas. It's only now..just past 4 o'clock that I've been able to switch-on the box. You can imagine the laughter when I saw Clueless's greetings on here from the Mag 7. Liz was doubled-up with the giggles. Clueless,...you are blooming clever with that box. ML, You've got a lovely singing voice,...you sound like Katherine Jenkins....I could hear you loud and clear. BG, I shan't need a lot of puff,...there's only 1 candle on the cake (to save embarrassment,) Ho! Ho! 'M', Yes, Tescos sales of Baileys have definitely shot up...by 2 X 1 litre bottles this last week. I know that for a fact as my wallet seems lighter than it was yesterday morning. Ho! Ho! Ho!

Many Happy returns m8.I think it`s very wise only having the 1 candle, when you get past the big 4-0 they can be a bit hazardous. My last birthday nearly turned into a barbecue accidentally, your m8 Larry almost ended up as a roasted Lamb

Larry, I wish it WAS the big 4.0 as you put it. It's the big 8.0 mun! I've been to the top of the hill, and I'm now on the way down. Ho! Ho! Ho! Thanks for your good wishes,...I'd be willing to give up my Baileys,...if only I could be 40 again, and I swear I wouldn't touch roast lamb...not never, never never again. Ho! Ho! Ho!

Yes, wasn't it a great Greetings Card,.... I've played it through several times, and it does remind you of those hillarious episodes of the Mag 7. It's quite amazing how we kept going with those remarkable excerpts, to keep the story flowing. I think we really could have gone on indefinitely,....it could have been endless. Ho! Ho! Ho! And just think.....Bob hasn't sobered up since. Poor dab!

I am at this very moment, suffering from a sore throat and also a little difficulty in breathing. Why, you may ask? Well, I'll tell you,....I've just spent the last couple of hours reading through the 154 postings of last summer's Mag 7. It is unbelievably HILLARIOUS! It is strange how you think you can remember it all,...but when you delve through it again, your memory is jogged with some incredible postings. There are so many sentences of quite amazing make-believe that you can't seem to connect these to our 'lot.' The whole thing is just UNBELIEVABLE,... and when any one of us is feeling a bit down I strongly recommend spending an hour browsing through it. I haven't laughed so raucously for a long time,...the tears were dripping onto my keyboard. Ho! Ho! Ho!
Some time tomorrow I hope to latch on to Crazynance's site,....to read through the first episode of Mag 7.

Fussy that Mag 7 adventure has given me so much pleasure and much needed laughter. It is a tonic without doubt.
I wonder if I should bump the thread up on the Aol site for others to read?
What do you think?

ML It would be a good idea to bump the two episodes up ,as it takes ages to find when we want a laugh . One day it will vanish as Andrew every so often seems to clear out the earlier postings .

I know he has to make room on the site as room is at a premium BG.
Maybe we could all E mail him asking for him to keep the thread?

Why not just save the whole thing somewhere else where you could keep it for as long as you liked ? By the way, has it still got that link that used to lead directly into my chatroom ? (And does anybody ever USE my chatroom any more ?)

I haven't tried that yet either, but I'm going to have a go at it one of these days. Mind you, I'm not confident of success because I've had the damn printer for 15 months, but I still haven't managed to get THAT to work yet ! (I think it's faulty, either that or I'm stupid !) I'll have to get that bloke from Tenby to take a look at it one of these days. This computer is supposed to have a T.V. thingy installed somewhere too, but I can't find it. (I DID manage to find a Radio station once though !) I haven't really explored all the features that it's SUPPOSED to have, it takes me long enough just to get the b***** thing to work at all ! (And half the features that USED to work don't anymore) By the way, I don't suppose anybody out there knows anything about adding sound to a website do they ?

Sorry, I rambled on so much there that I forgot what I was going to say in the first place ! It was that I would try to copy the Mag 7 threads to my website, but I don't know where to find them any more. I haven't even visited Aberdareonline for months and it could take me months to find the right page, so if somebody could post a link to the exact spot where I could find them I could have a go at copying the whole thing and saving it as a complete web-page (as long as Andrew wouldn't accuse me of Plagiarism ! LOL !)

Clueless I am no good at doing links but this is where I found the threads of Mag7.
1st episode Page 44 "The Magnificent Seven " September 25th .
2nd episode Page 53 " Mag7 ride again " June 23rd.
I hope this will help you to find them .

I'll have a look for those tomorrow BG, see if I can get them copied to a page in my website. I haven't done much of anything today, been worried about Sophie as she hasn't been very well. We had the Vet take a look at her and she said she doesn't think it's anything serious, she gave her an injection and told us to keep her on a bland diet for a couple of days, so it was plain boiled rice and a bit of boiled cod for supper, which sounds disgusting to me, but fortunately these hounds are omniverous and don't mind WHAT they eat ! (As you already know ! LOL !) She seems a bit brighter and more like herself tonight, so hopefully the Vet was right and it's just a bit of an upset stomach and she'll be O.K. tomorrow.

Clueless Sorry to hear that Sophie is not too well, I expect like us humans animals get their off days where they do not feel 100% .Hope she is bounding around like mad again in a day or two .
I do hope that if you put the Mag 7 episodes on your site that they do not take up too much of your space ,as they are very long threads .

Well I must say the Mag 7 has put a whole new aspect on cowboy films for me!
I watched a western the other morning on TV for a short while and I was in total hysterics!
There were so many things I could pick up on - the saloon girls etc etc I tell you what we had it off pat didnt we eh?
Best bit was when William Holden told a cowboy to go to the chuck wagon - I was curled up in fits as I expected to see BG sat there waiting with a large pot of baked beans with MR holding the reins!
I am still chuckling about it now.

According to the records I'm currently using only 10.3% of the file space on my new, upgraded website, so I don'tt hink that saving that will make much of a dent in it yet. When I eventually get around to copying ALL my photos, poems and so on I MIGHT run out of space, (say, in about 20 years, Ha-Ha !) but then I could always get another free website just for the Mag. 7 I suppose. (If it ever got into the search-engines, I wonder what the people who found it while searching for information on the film 'The Magnificent Seven' would think ? ) Sophie seems quite a bit better today thank goodness, but between all these health worries, my Mother, myself and the pets, I'm beginning to think we should forget about trying to raise enough money to buy a house in North Pembs and use what savings my Mother HAS got already to buy a nice little sheltered housing place somewhere with a live-in nurse to look after us all !

You can say THAT again ! FOFL ! Well actually I wouldn't mind that, as long as mine was a non-speaking part ! I don't mind being looked at, and I've got no objections to getting up there and singing a few songs (although the local Ranchers might have a few objections if my singing stampeded their cattle ! LOL !) But I wouldn't want to speak. I've hated my speaking voice ever since I first heard myself on a tape-recorder years ago and I sounded like a man !

Maybe they could dub over our voices as my American drawl leaves a lot to be desired!
I still want a stick thin starlet playing me as otherwise the cost of material for my dresses might bankrupt the film! FOFL

You know, the funny thing is that I can do a LOT of different accents when I'm all by myself and just mucking about, and even if I do say so myself, I think they sound quite good. But the moment I think somebody else might be listening I clam up, and I just CANNOT bring myself to speak into a tape-redorder even when I'm alone. It's probably for the same reasons that I hate using the phone. It's B****Y daft I know, but there you go, that's me, nutty as a flipping fruitcake !

Clueless, I can't say I've ever come across anyone who have applauded their own voice when it's played back to them. I've taken dozens of family parties with my camcorder over the last ten years, and as soon as I play it back to them on the TV....long faces appear from every corner, with remarks like...."ooooh, don't I sound awful...turn the sound right down." And many others say...."oooooh, don't I look terrible, or...don't I look fat." It's an inbred hatred we all seem to possess. I think there's an extreme VANITY in all of us. Nothing seems goodenough. Ho! Ho! Ho! Then my theory is all to hell,...when you see this current mob flaunting themselves across our screens...half-naked, half-baked, and loud-mouthed. They don't half fancy themselves eh! Toodlepip.
