Oooooo! Critisizing my education, eh! I can't see how BG would have to be on the run from the police anyway.
Ooooo! Just you wait till she reads that,...you'll be for the high jump you will. |

No, I don't think she's gone off us atall. She was a bit fed-up p'raps,...like me, fed up of talking to myself. I have a feeling that she will come back,...if only to have a dig at you 'cos you said you didn't like her anymore. Ho! Ho! Ho! We can do with a bit of a war on here, it would liven up the old site. What say you, Bob. |

Oooooh! It's like as if I was joining a secret underground movement, having to enter codes and passwords. Makes me feel as if I'm back in WW2, bluffing the enemy with a secret gaff.
Ho! Ho! Ho!
Well, I thought we were going to be free of all interferences on TV after the switchover on Wednesday, but no such luck, some channels are still breaking up, and we've lost Ch5 alltogether...no sign of it. And BBC1 has got the jitters as well. What a flop, eh! |

Ooooooh! I've rushed up these b***** stairs to try to catch you Larry. We've got 5 visitors down stairs and not one of them is any relation of ours. I told them a white lie,...that I was expecting a call from E-bay. I'll go back down in a minute, and come back to you again. |

They wanted me to stay but like you I made an excuse and said I'd go back and pick them up later Sitting around drinking tea and gossiping is'nt my idea of a fun day out |

Well, I don't know what's to say. Where, oh! where is everyone? Guess I'll have to have a word with myself again.
'ow're iw doin Fussy? Fairish like! Well, I feel a bit tired after trudging these 32 flipping stairs, especially when I've just finished tidying up the garden and getting the black bag ready for collection tomorrow. Still, better than having one of those ruddy wheely bins to push around. Mind I do feel sorry for those poor people who have dozens of those b***** bulky clumsy things to harbour around the houses in some districts.
It's almost teatime, so I'll buzz-off now. I might nip in later.

I've got a bit of a problem. I've got quite a number of odd jokes and peoples' funny sayings which I think I put on here about 5 or 6 years ago, but I'd be wasting my time typing all of them...'cos there aren't anyone on here to read the perishing jokes.
Here are a few, by well known footballers.
My parents have been there for me, ever since I was about 7. I've never wanted to leave.I'm here for the rest of my life and hopefully after that as well. I'm as happy as I can be,...but I have been happier. I could settle in Italy,...it was like living in a foreign country. I'd like to play for an Italian club, like Barcelona.

Oh dear! That sounds frightening Pauline, 'cos I don't know WHAT you've had enough of
What I've had enough of is this b***** broadband. It has the sickening habit of cutting off often when I've typed about 8 or 9 lines, and more often than not it's only off for about 5 seconds and then I have to restart the perishing thing again. In all fairness it's not as bad as it has been in the past, but it is bloomin' annoying. So that is why I'M fed-up. |

Yeah, I was wondering what kind of business our Bob was tangled in too, Larry. It's just got to be connected with barrels,...you know, those wooden containers held together by metal hoops. I think they contain 36 Imperial gallons of that well known liquid which tends to send one delirious when one consumes a few too many. |

The 1st of September, and I can sense the early strain of Autumn, 'cos the leaves are starting to fall and there's a slight nip in the air. By jingo...Santa will be here before you sink a Baileys, eh! Time flies and I'm beginning to feel I'm getting old.

What a day!!! It's been emptying down for most of today.
Well, what on earth is going on in the world? Reading the press and watching TV is soul destroying these days....murders, foul-mouthed yobs boozing and battering each other, to death in some cases. And 2 young students who planned to bomb and kill all the other students in their school in Manchester. The world's in a sorry state, eh! Nothing but crime, crime, crime. It's sickening to read what evil crimes are committed by these foul morons. The so-called law needs sharpening up folks.

I'm going to be busy tomorrow. It's the second part of the digital switchover from the Kilvey Hill transmitter. So I'm going all 'technical' like,...'cos I've got 2 tellys to tune in yet again. Ho! Ho! Ho!....when is it all going to end?
It only takes about 10 minutes to tune the things, but if some of the channels are missing...swear words turn the air a bright blue. :-) |

See my walking stick above,....I've just been for a walk. to fetch my lottery winnings. Had 4 numbers up on Wednesday,.....wish I'd had the other 2 numbers as well, then we would all have a good old 'get together' in Pauline's Patch. Ho! Ho! Ho! I wonder how many of our crowd would turn up, especially if I had won the big one...say 8 million, and I'd promise to hand out a gift of £10.000 to each one of our clan? I wonder how many would make the journey to Pauline's palace? I'd arrange a helicopter for BG and Moonraker, and it could land in the Ynys Stadium in Aberdare to pick up Bob and Mrs Gemini, and if I knew where it could pick up The Gravedigger and his better-half, I would arrange that as well. As for Crazynance I would have to book her and her hubby a flight from Ontario. Ho! Ho! Ho! I'd book a taxi for Larry, to save him some petrol.
There seems to be plenty of landing space for a 'copter to land near Pauline's Patch.

Is that where Fussy used to live then Bob ? Looks like a nice little place. If I had the dosh I might buy it myself, I'm getting fed up with this blooming caravan. Summers are not too bad, but spending winters in it is a different kettle of fish I'd love a nice little house somewhere with central heating, mains electricity and all the other mod cons |

Yeah, I used to live in 30 Queen St, and it bothers me no end to learn that the old house is being sold for around the 80 Grand mark. My father and brother were carpenters, so as you can imagine the old house was spick and span. When they moved back to Newcastle Emlyn it was left to me at a later date. It makes me sick just thinking about it now, 'cos I sold it for £850 before I moved to live here in. Sickening, innit!!! |

You were saying you'd fancy buying a little nook like those in Queen St. That wouldn't be too bad. But have you seen the prices of some of the shacks in some of those TV programmes where they are up for sale for £250.000. WOW!!! I often wonder where the hell these people get the lolly from. |

Ooh you've been busy, posting 3 messages while I was typing mine Yeah I noticed there had'nt been much activity going on recently Where the heck has everybody gone I,ve got an excuse for not being here that often, but Bob and The Gravedigger and the rest of them could surely pop in more often. And what can have happened with Beacon Girl ? It's months since her last post, but if she s posted on AoL like Gravedigger said there ca'nt be anything wrong with her computer or anything, so why has she deserted us |

Talking about money. Can you really believe that there's a semblance of common sense in this ruddy world when a footballer gets paid a sum in the region of £100.000 EVERY week? It is just downright b***** stupid, innit. I love soccer and other sports, but there is no sense whatsoever in the wages dished out.

Yeah, I also can't understand why some of our friends on here have suddenly 'left the ship'. As I've always said this is one of the best little sites on the whole web. And I think part of the reason some of our clan on here have left is, perhaps because if they didn't get a prompt reply to their posting, they thought nobody cared. But you can't expect every single member to be available for chat every single bloomin minute of the day. What say you, Larry. |

I agree with you m8, and film stars payouts are even worse. I heard that Sylvester Stallone got something like £10,000,000 for just one film 10 MILLION smackers it's bloody ridiculous innit, especially when people who do really important jobs like nurses, dustmen etc get paid peanuts. I enjoy watching films and sports as much as the next person, but we could live without them if we had to. But we'd be in a bloody mess without all those people doing the so-called lowly jobs would'nt we ? Maybe it's time all these celebrities got a huge wage cut and the money was diverted to all those doing the essential and dirty jobs instead. |

Oooooh, I was wrong...I thought you might have pushed off now.
Yeah, the wages dished out to some of these ruddy TV bods are shameful. Who in hells' name needs a million quid a year? It's disgraceful. And as you say the hard working man like you mentioned gets barely enough to get by.

Think I'll pay a surprise visit to BG. I'm going to London one day next week,...I might take the exit road to Swindon and shock her and Moonraker by tapping on their kitchen window. Ho! Ho! Ho! |

Ho! Ho! Ho! Trying to coax me back to my old hideaway are you, Bob. Just think m8...if I came back there I'd be able to meet you in the Tonglwyd Fawr for a tipple. Good grief, it hurts when I think we got somewhere in the region of £900 for my old homestead, and now it's priced around the 80 grand mark. Wow! I should have stayed there...shouldn't I!

It's Tuesday, and no sign of life.
Think I'll go for a walk up the park,...it's only about 30 metres from my front door. |

| I'll have a look round that site later, see how much houses in Aberdare are going for these days. Did you see Aberdare on the news last night ? I think that was Dowlais Street. |

No, I didn't see the Welsh news last night. What happened in Dowlais St then? Must have been of some importance to have the old town on telly, I should think! That reminds me,...I must check to see if Google Street has been in the Aberdare area....Although, I doubt it, 'cos Bob would let us know surely. |

| It was something about the council installing Solar Panels I think, but I didn't catch all of it, I was too busy looking at the background, they showed some nice views of St. Elvans. They showed other areas too, but I recognised Dowlais Street in particular. I used to walk along that street quite often and I remember that they used to have terrible flooding there, there's a playing field on one side of the street, and after the floods there would be a lot of sodden carpets spread out on the wall. Glad I didn't live there. |

Well, I go to Casablanca!!!!!!
Lovely to hear from you crazynance. 'Long time no speak no see.' Still, as I've often mentioned...it doesn't really matter as to how often you post, as long as you pop in here once in a while to sort of...keep in touch. Hope you and the 'boss'(?) and your family are keeping well.
Oooooh! That WAS a quirky thing, that I should have opted to pick 9/11 to book you a flight, eh!...Unintentional, honest injun! RE:The magnificent seven 31 March 2003 by Fussy
Listen folks ! I've just received a message from a very reliable source.....the Undertaker has returned, to take over the Dog House Saloon...as a sideline to his normal day to day job. Also, there's a rumour going around that he is after Andrew's job as sheriff, and he's warned the locals that he intends to bring back hanging for anyone stepping out of line. We can't let this maniac rule the roost, so I'm waiting for the first opportunity to land a 'thud' on the side of his head with my large...empty Baileys bottle,.....they say, a clout on the side of the head is more damaging than one on the back of the head. Ughhh ! He's a monster. I've also heard that he intends rounding-up Bob, Dai, Moonraker, Mashboy, ML, BG, crazynance, welshgirl, KR, Clueless, to do menial jobs in running the saloon. No wages will be paid, but sleeping accomodation and one bowl of soup a day will be provided. One slice of bread each, will depend on whether or not BGs baking abilities are achieved under strenuous conditions ie, one small log fire, comprising old-fashioned oven with hob. I tell you....this man is dangerous! RE:The magnificent seven 31 March 2003 by Fussy
RE:The magnificent seven 1 April 2003 by crazynance Does that mean we have to all share the .... COUCH????? hmmmmm.... well, girls, should we run or line up?? hahahahahaha! RE:The magnificent seven 1 April 2003 by Clueless He'll be lucky, trying to get me to do menial jobs ! After a stamp on the instep from a 4-inch heel, a knee in the g*****s and my famous left upper-cut to the jaw he'll be lucky if he ever manages to walk unaided again ! Then I'll bake him a cyanide-flavoured cake to finish him off. ( And just to make doubly sure I'll spread something smelly all over him and get the dogs to lick him to death ! ) Or I could just get my mother to bake some scones and drop one on his head from an upstairs window, that would kill him for sure ! ! ! ! The above, as you jolly well know are a couple of excerpts from our great production of the Mag 7.
I double-up with laughter when I sit back and read through the whole episode of Mag 7.
Take care Nance, Love to all |

Hey there crazynance, it's great to hear from you again I thought you'd abandoned us for ever, but now you've found your way back to us I hope you'll be popping in a bit more often in future, we need perking up a bit round here
Oh I'd nearly forgotten about that mag 7 stuff Fussy, it was a lot of fun on aol back then was'nt it? Last time I looked in there it was all doom and gloom and a lot of grumpy gits arguing with each other, not a bit like the good old days |

By the way Larry, Liz and me had a meal in The Forge on thursday afternoon. You know The Forge...it's a restaurant on the was to St Clears. We always have a cracking meal there. I can recommend it to anyone. I had a gammon steak about 3/4 inch thick. I've never ever had such a gammon before,...and it was delicious.
I'm not exagerating...it was 3/4 inch thick. Ho! Ho! Ho! |

Oooooh! Good job I checked,...you're still there M8. Yeah, those were good old days in AoL. I had a request from Andrew a couple of years ago asking if I'd like to return, because they'd had some problems with one or two of the old crew, so I didn't like to let him down so I posted 2 or 3 times but i stopped then because I didn't care much for the atmosphere. |

Did you notice that I had 4 numbers up on the lottery a week last Wednesday...56 smackers. If I'd won the big one I was going to arrange a party at Pauline's. I was going to book a taxi for you to save you some petrol. Ho! Ho! Ho! |

Oooooh, that's good, innit. The old town will be in the limelight then, with being the first in Wales to boast eco-friendly.
Ho! Ho! If I won 9 million on the lottery M8 I wouldn't need to hire a helicopter,...I'd be able to buy a fleet of 'em.
I might even buy you a new pub, so that you could run it yourself. That would stop you sipping so much 'cos you'd be too busy looking after the books in your little office.
