How about these pronunciations! I've heard these scores of times in my lifetime.
Ecsetera Indentical Jewlery Pitchure Skelinton Cerstificate Excape Drawring Secetary Reconise Dobinoes Pantomine Rubob Sumbarine Jest a minute Chronium Plated
And there's one well known TV presenter who has been pronouncing the word Drawing as Drawring for as long as I can remember.
And here's a typical Welsh one from this area. I was teaching a young lass to drive back in the 70s and whilst I was teaching her to reverse round the corner, to help her get the car reasonably straight...I asked her, 'where does the curb appear in the rear window?'...'Iss right in the miggle she said.' Well, you keep it in the miggle I said and you won't be far wrong. So, miggle - for middle - it was, till she passed her test,...and thereafter to this day I expect. Innit funny how we all have our variety of accents. I think our Welshy chatter is so comical. 'owr iw doin' Bob? 'ows Rover? Are iw still boozin'?

Yes there are some very unusual pronunciation of words these days .
That list you have up there Fussy looks like my spelling .
It is strange listening to some of the teenages talking today ,they seem to have come up with all sorts of new words that I have never heard of. |

Two magistrares were booked for speeding on the same day. Being friends, they both decided to try each other, so when their cases came up one of them sat on the bench and the other in the dock. After all the evidence had been heard, the case was dismissed, and the two magistrates changed places. Once more the evidence was presented and at the end of the proceedings, the magistrate on the bench said, 'Guilty - fined £150.' His friend gasped but before he could protest, the presiding magistrate said. 'This is the second case of speeding we've had this morning, and I'm determined to stamp it out.

A woman who had just passed her driving test was stopped for doing 60 mph through a small village. 'I'm sorry officer,' she said in mitigation. You see, my brakes are bad and I wanted to get home before I had an accident.

All these jokes are sort of locked in my mind, as they were common chatter to cheer up the learners while they were struggling with all the hassle of preparing for the test, back in the 70s/80s. There was a book of jokes I had when I started instructing in 1966, so after 25 years in the job it kind of left it's mark on my mind. Now,...innit funny, I can remember loads of things from those long-gone days, but I struggle to remember things as recent as a month ago. Ho! Ho! Ho! |

I wonder if The Gravedigger has tripped down into one of the holes he's digging, and is unable to get back up again?
And we haven't heard from Mrs Gemini for quite a while too. Hope she and Richard are keeping OK.
And it's about time Bob sobered up and got back in here too,...the old sot! And Rover is definitely a pensioner now. And we never found out if Crazynance finished the book she was writing about...'Life in the 50s in Aberdare.' ???
And, goodness knows where Larry is these days??? |

I can never remember jokes and if I do I usually get the punch line wrong and spoil the whole thing.
It has gone quiet on here again everyone must be busy .
Perhaps Pauline has gone of to Dinas Cross House hunting.
Maybe Crazynance has sold millions of copies of her book and gone off on a world cruise.
Bob must be locked in some cellar drunk.
The Gravedigger must be digging his way to Australia.
Larry must have gone of on a ramble around the mountains of Wales with the rest of the sheep.
Mrs Gemini is no doubt busy enjoying her grand children.
If any of you are looking in I hope all is well with you these days.

Ooooh! I kind of agree with your assumptions BG.
I can quite imagine Pauline nipping over to Dinas Cross to do a bit of house hunting. And crazynance travelling around the world after a sell out of her book on 'Life in Aberdare in the 50s.' And TG digging his way deep into Aussie country. And it's a perfect assumption of our Bob,...drunk as a coot in the cellar, with Rover trying to wake him up. And Larry doing a bit of mountaineering with his sheep. And, no doubt whatsoever of Mrs Gemini spending hour upon hour with her latest grandchild. |

I think we had the following on here a few years ago, but no harm in being reminded of them once more.
It is physically impossible for pigs to look up to the sky.
A duck's quack doesn't echo. No one knows why!
Most lipsticks contain fish-scales.
Like fingerprints, everyone's tongue print is different.
A pregnant goldfish is called a 'twit.'
Horses can't vomit.
The 'Sixth sick sheik's sixth sheep's sick'...is said to be the toughest tongue-twister in the English language.
If you sneeze too loud, you can fracture a rib.
If you keep your eyes open...by force...they can pop out.

There was another one I forgot to mention,...It's physically impossible to lick one's elbow. Ho! Ho! It also says that everyone - upon reading that - try to lick his or her's elbow,...in vain! Ho! Ho! Ho! I've tried, and I'm about half a mile from it.
Hope M is feeling better. I expect he'll be watching one or two of the European matches from now on, so if you want to watch ITV3 you are going to have to split up, aren't you. Ho! Ho! |

Had a try at licking my elbow ,only about 4 inches short of doing it ,but I do have a very long tongue . LOL
You are right Fussy M will be watching the matches, I will be sent up stairs to watch the old telly in the bedroom that has a very snowy picture.
M is off to Silverstone Motor Racing on Sunday with our two son-in-laws and grandson. Hope it will not be too tiring a day for him. |

It worked.
But where did my first message go to I wonder? Mysterious 'appenings on 'ere.
BG, Tell M, I enjoyed the weekend soccer, and after serious thought I'm going to back 5000 'smackers' on Spain to win the tournament. But I am a little bit frightened of the Germans and the Frenchmen,...and you can tell him the Italians give me a few colly wobbles as well, and also the Dutchmen are quite likely to give someone a headache too.

Fussy M is enjoying the football ,Although he did not see Sundays matches as he was at Silverstone. He had a great day and he said our two son-in-laws and grand son looked after him really well. When he came home he was exhausted ,he took his scooter with him in the boot so did not have to walk much, I think the heat tired him out, he is well sun burnt even though he put on lots of sun lotion.
He slept for 12 hours solid last night |

Oooooh! Glad M enjoyed himself in Silverstone on Sunday, especially having 3 men to take care of him as well. Nice that you can take the scooter with you on a trip. Must be a big boot,...but of course the scooter is collapsible, innit...or is it I bet he enjoyed seeing the Dutch hammer the Italians last night. There'll be a few more shocks before the end of this tournament. Tell M, that I think the Swedes are no mugs either.
And who's turned up at long last then? Him and his flipping German. I'll have a word with him now!!!The scamp! Ho! Ho! Ho! |

BG, Tell M that I've just watched the finest display of skillful football ever, and I wouldn't mind betting that M has never seen anything as good as Spain ever either, except for Brazil maybe. So perhaps I did the right thing to put 5000 smackers on Spain. Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho!

Bob, The reason many football teams are afraid of the Germans is because the Germans are a class act M8, and are a b****y difficult team to beat. Does that answer your question? Ho! Ho! Ho! But, but, but there is one little team that's going to shake the living daylights out of them,...the Spaniards are in supreme form, and I've bet 5000 'smackers' on them to beat anybody.

Well, it's been so much colder here today, I've had to don my pullover again. I can't remember wearing a pullover in June before, but I guess I might have....my memory ain't what it used to be. Come to think of it, I remember my father saying ...he could remember a heavy snowfall in Cwmdare in June, in the early 1900s.

It wasn't Gremlins Fussy, it was me, I edited out all those gaps (but I suppose it might have been the Gremlins that caused them in the first place ) I meant to post a message at the time, but the nurse knocked on the door and she stayed for a while, then I had to have a bath as I was expecting another delivery from Tesco and I didn't want to put the driver off his food ! LOL !
I couldn't have a bath earlier because my oil had run out again and I had to wait for a delivery. Luckily they don't require a signature and they delivered it while I was still in bed. I've been in bed quite a bit lately as I haven't been too good. My nose has been very painful and I've also had terrible heartburn. I thought the nose was a bit better, but on Sunday morning I woke up in agony around 6am and between the sneezing and coughing combined with the heartburn I was convinced I was pegging out ! I don't know exactly why but I've noticed before that whenevr I've had a cold and been sneezing a lot it always seems to make the heartburn worse. I've got tablets that are supposed to control it, but when I get a cold they don't seem to work at all. Peculiar that !
It's been cold here most of the time, even on days when the weather-forecast on the TV says it's been a nice sunny day we haven't seen much of it down here I'm sure I can remember some workmen saying it had snowed up above Merthyr in July 1963 (I might have got the year wrong, but I think theyb were working on the Heads of the Valleys road at the time) |

Sorry to learn that you've had a spot of bother with the nasal territory. Liz was saying that she was accustomed to hearing a lot about that little problem when she was working in the health service. The most common cause was that a polyp had formed, and that was the cause of the pain, and it generally cleared itself after a week or so. Nasty old thing though! I've not been in tip top form myself either these last couple of days. Got a touch of the old Sciatica,...probably my own fault,..doing odd jobs around the house, bending and stretching. Been ticked off for it by - you know who!
I'm going to post this now, in case I get cut off. |

Pauline, I've got to be wide awake now when I type about half a dozen lines, 'cos I'm likely to be cut off any time, so I have to make all my postings as short as poss'. BTW, is your broadband now with BT,...and have you been cut off atall?
I'm still toying with the idea of changing from AOL, but I'm not quite sure if it really is AOL's fault. It might be the fault of our local BT centre that delivers the signal. I'm glad you sorted out the blank strip of this thread last week, 'cos BG hadn't noticed anything different. So, it must have been gremlins or Polty. Ho! Ho! Ho! |

Hope you are all feeling better now .

Hope you are feeling better by now BG. Yeah, its a hell of a job trying to be sociable to the visitors when one is one or more degrees under the weather innit. Our door is always open to all our family, so sometimes they pounce on us like a tornado, but fairplay they do give us a tinkle on the phone more often than not, but there is the odd time when they suddenly attack like a Lancaster raid. It's nice that M is able to get about for a little bit of enjoyment with the grandchildren. He's doing the right thing,...better than sitting still watching telly. But I bet he's watched most of the matches recently. I better post now or I'll be swearing again at being cut off.

Don't know if my blood is thinner, but I don't feel the heat as much these last few days. Or is it cooler than usual? Anyway, I can cope with the cool weather and if it stays like this for the rest of the summer I'll be laughing!
Don't half read some funny things in the press, eh! We're in a hell of a pickle in this country at the present time. One has difficulty in finding something pleasant to read about,...it's nothing but murder, binge drinking, sex, theft, people being kicked in the head and killed whilst being defenceless on the ground, which is absolutely vile. That to me, warrants a punishment of a life for a life. These morons wouldn't get away with that sort of evil, if they tried it in the Saudi world, that's for sure!!! Nor would they get away with it in many other parts of the world. The law is a joke in this country. Ooooh, I'd better post this now.

Liz is just like you BG, she sees all these games absolutely boring, so she buzzes off to the upstairs lounge and watches all the usual soaps etc, while me with Katie - the cat - on my lap,...and my bottle of you know what, have a rip roaring time in the living room. Sad to say BG,...I like the salt and vinegar ones, and I know that I shouldn't slam more salt down my gullet than I do already, 'cos nearly every bloomin food has more than there should be in it these days. Never mind, I only eat about 1 bag of crisps a month anyway. Tell M that I thought the Germans were superb last night, and I'm going to bet a double tot of Baileys that they will win the final. Ho! Well I don't like any of the flavoured crisps ,I eat the walkers unsalted ,the ones with the blue packet of salt in but I don't use the salt ,bad for my blood pressure. Remember years ago they use to have the little blue twisted packets of salt in them and you could not get flavoured crisps art all .
M will be watching the football through till the end I expect if I have not smashed the TV in before the final.

I quite like the Bacon flavoured ones, also Chicken and Cheddar Cheese, but as BG says they're too salty so I don't eat them very often because the salt gives me a headache, so I generally stick to the plain ones too and save the packets of salt for cooking. I remember the little blue screws of salt too, I read somewhere that the reason they don't do them any more is because when they started selling the Salt and Shake ones again (after stopping them for a few years) the man who used to work the machine had died and nobody else knew how to make them ! When did Walkers take them over anyway ? Years ago they used to be Smiths crisps.
I like the Bacon ones with Tomato Soup as an alternative to bread. I know it probably sounds strange, but if you just dunk them in briefly and then whip them out and eat them before they get soggy the combination of flavours is really tasty. The soup also takes out some of the saltiness.
Well I was supposed to go to Withybush today, but this time I I cancelled it as I was feeling a bit off and couldn't face all the palaver of getting ready and then going in a car The lady I was supposed to see rang me back and she was O.K. about it (last time, when SHE cancelled it, it turned out it was because she had to go to a family funeral) so hopefully one of these days I'll get another appointment and actually GET there for a change.

My Lizzie also prefers the plain salted crisps, but she's afraid to eat too many of them 'cos too many of them can up the blood pressure, as you say. By jingo, there's money in the making of crisps! I opened a packet last week and judging by the amount of crisps there were in the pack,..I bet they can make a dozen bags from one standard spud.
Ooooh, I better post this now, or I'll be cut off again and I'll be cursing again.

Dipping crisps in tomato sauce. Never thought of that,...will give it a try next time. I have very sharp taste buds. As a tot of about 5 or 6 I had a craving for a piece of Mam's home made fruit cake and a slice of bread and butter and eat them together, and I still do the same to this very day,..the two together are just right for my taste. Bit daft, innit! My grandchildren have a good giggle when they see me noshing away. Yeah, the old original crisps...Smiths with the little packet of salt thrown in. They had a huge factory here in S'sea, but it was taken over by Walkers...oooh, must be in the 70s/80s I fancy it was better to have the little pack of salt,..you could then just shove in an amount of salt that you fancied. But these days there appears to be a hell of salt in them.
Better post this now, in case I'm bombed out again.

BG, Tell M,...I thought that last night's match was the most exciting so far. It was unbelievable! And I still can't understand how 3 Croatians failed to score from the spot?????? You'll have a break now,...there is no match on Monday or Tuesday, but you'll have to divorce him again on Wednesday and Thursday. Then there's the final the following Sunday, so you will be able to re-marry him after that. Ho! Ho! Ho! |

Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho! That was a slip of the tongue Pauline,...but on second thoughts there's not a great deal of difference between the sauce and the soup. Hells Bells, that doesn't back up my boasting about my taste buds, does it! BTW, did you sort out the problem with the laptop? Or did you have to call the IT bloke? Also, how is your broadband working? Is it reliable? |

Talking of tomato soup my mum use to put sliced raw onion into hers she said raw onion was good for you ,she did have weird tastes though she use to love tripe and onions and jellied eels ,she developed the taste for jellied eels when she worked in service in London OH YUK.
They say if you have a cold it is good to eat a bowl full off boiled onions , plus if you put a raw onion under your bed it will ward off colds. |

Fussy You will have a dilemma tonight as there are two matches on at the same time ,one on ITV and one on BBC you will have to tape one of them and watch it tomorrow. I should have gone off on a singles holiday this past couple of weeks to avoid the football ,do you think I would have passed to go on the under thirties trip LOL |

No, there's no dilemma BG, there's only 1 match tonight my chick. They are showing it on both BBC and ITV.
Ugh! You've put me right off my tea now,...the thought of jellied eels makes me wince. And I'm willing to bet that M would leave the room if he saw them on the table. Ho! Ho! Ho! |

OOps just shows how interested I am in the football ,I just looked in the TV magazine and saw football on both sides . I was so mad that I did not bother to look who was playing .
Why in heaven are they showing the same match on both channels .They could have put a good film on one of them . |

Just read in the daily, that trees throughout the country have been blown down with 70 mph winds. Nasty, for June, innit! It says that trees in full leaf are more susceptible to be blown over 'cos the foliage aids the force of the wind.
Things are looking good for my 5000 smackers bet on Spain. They've only got to win next Thursday and the following Sunday, for me to be a multi millionaire of smackers (kisses.) Not many chaps of my age can boast to have millions of kisses in the bank,...for his beloved Liz, eh!!! Ho! Ho! Ho! |

Yes it has been pretty rough in some parts of the country ,the hedges and tree in our garden were swaying like mad.
M did not get to watch the football yesterday ,we went with our daughter to a quiz evening that her company were running ,we came third ,they were really hard questions.
Fussy when you win all that money I hope you remember who your friends are .LOL
Our daughter is determinesd to get us out and about she took us to Alid's supermarket today ,I must say the food was very cheap. We went with her to Lidl's last week and it was cheap there too .Unfortunately they do not seem to do my favourite brands of food.
Well that is all I have time for now as my soaps are about to begin, as you say Fussy it is my turn to have the TV tonight. |

I can imagine you and M are pretty slick at quizes BG. I've seen your answers on these sites over the past years and I must say you are both well blessed with answers to some questions, which I'm sure I wouldn't have a clue as to come anywhere near to answering them. So, I could safely bet 5000 smackers against me winning any quiz with you two. But, I've got a good excuse mind. When you two get to my age you will both have lost a certain amount of the old memory box. The strange thing about it is,...I can remember film stars from as far back as the 20s...like Anna May Wong and Charlie Chaplin and Boris Karloff, but I struggle to remember what day I went to town here a couple of weeks ago. Yeah, they say that Aldi's is the cheapest of the supermarket lot.
What about the latest farce in the country's law! Can't have anonymous witnesses any more. What a carry-on, eh! Ho! Ho! Ho!

How is everyone? Our new passports have finally come back, so if I win the pools, I'll be able to leave the country. I guess that is a step in the right direction. :D BG: had beans for lunch, thought of you... ;) |

Nan, Now that you've got your passports,...start saving, and soon you'll be able to pay us a visit. I'm inviting you to stay here with Liz and me for a thrilling weekend of various delights, hake and chips, and a selection of salads and roasts, and beans on toast and, and, and, and a 2 litre bottle of Baileys to name but a few. Ho! Ho! Ho! Good old Welsh grub, eh!
BTW, did you finish the novel...'Aberdare in the Fifties?'

Gosh, doesn't time fly these days, it's time to visit Tescos again. It seems as if we were only there a week ago, but it's two blinkin' weeks.

OH DEAR Fussy sorry you are so upset. Have a double Baileys and you will be fine.
Sorry I have not been about for a few days been very busy. M had his appointment at Oxford hospital for his scans on his heart ,he had to do lots of exercises to test his heart ,one of them was riding on a bike contraption he has not ridden a bike for donkeys years he was well puffed out .He has to wait for the results of the tests to go back to his consultant in Swindon to see if the medication has improved him at all ,if not he may have to have a stent put in ,they don't think he will need a by pass operation.
Been doing a car boot sale today ,our daughter is moving house in a few weeks time so she has had a good clear out of all her clutter from the loft, I did not realise just how much stuff you can get in a loft space. She made a few bob out of it so it was worth it .It is unbelievable what people will pay for other peoples clutter.

Yeah, you were dead right BG,...I had a couple of tots of Baileys and I was a different man in a matter of minutes. Ho! Ho!
Well, you have been occupied, with seeing M to Oxford for his check-up. I never knew they went to the extent of pedalling to check things. Anyway, hope everything goes well for him.
I think we could do with a clearout of our surpluses too. We are harbouring loads of various things, like Liz has lots of clothes, dresses and coats which she will never wear again, but they are all in good nick so she is reluctant to get rid of them. I think we are like Pauline, 'cos she has stacks of all sorts.
Tell M, that though my favourites Spain have reached the final, I'm still frightened of the Gerrrrrrmans! Ho! Ho! Ho!

WA HOO!!! I'm good at picking winners aren't I. And I had a bet of 5000 smackers at 2/1 on good old Spain. That means I get 10,000 and my 5000 smackers (kisses) from Liz, so I don't think I'll have the strength to post on here from today on. So I'll say bye-bye, and see you in the Autumn.

I'm absolutely shattered BG, but not with the kisses. Believe it or not,..both of us have pulled a muscle in our backs a few days ago, and we are trudging around the house like a pair of cripples. Getting up after sitting down to a meal is agony. No kidding! We are both applying Deep Heat (cure ?) to each other's backs twice a day....big deal!!! Ho! Ho! Ho!
And we are supposed to be decorating the bathroom. |

Well, I go to Morocco! Getting in and out of bed is a sight to behold. We both look like a pair of contortionists - like those you see in stage shows - trying to manoeuvre ourselves into a sleeping position. It's sheer agony,...but there IS a slight improvement today, but it's going to take a while to get back to normal. Ho! Ho! Ho!

Oooo Fussy, I feel for you. Having gone 'airborne' off my front step one day, I know what it's like to have to move yourself so that you can move! Aren't you glad you don't have a waterbed? Ack!
We only watched one soccer game, I know the score was 2-1.. for someone.. I think the Dutch played? :D It was a great game! Terrific goalkeepers.
Canada Day was celebrated over the whole weekend and on to Tuesday, as we had our annual Waterfront Festival. Sonny Boy worked at the carnival, "Throw a dart! Win a prize! Prize every time, Eeeeeeven if you miss!" for which he got over 500 dollars. [should have been 600, but boyo should do his own math...] We had some torrential downpours, which didn't help the festival, and we had some blinding sun which made for terrific sunburns! So everyone had a great time. It was also the weekend of the Highland Games, so we saw a fair bit o' kilt this weekend.. nice.
And we drove an hour north before deciding to drive another hour north.. mosquito central! But we saw a turtle and a beaver that were crossing the road. No! Not together! haha. KK had to pee by the road, fortunately it steeped down a bit. She just got done when 10 bikers came down the road! Yes, we laughed. But to be fair I let her take my picture as I hung out the passenger window, panting like a dog. Yes, we are crazy. Don't you just love us? ^_^
And we planted our gardens this weekend, front and back of the house are now cleared up and prettified. Now I'm back at work, relaxing! Praise God for rest! |

Good grief! It wasn't Canada Day,...it was Canada Week, judging by all the goings-on. You all must have had a rip-roaring time, turtles and beavers, and pees by the roadside. Ho! Ho!
I understand that life in Canada is super-duper these days. I was reading in the press yesterday that a Canadian chappie is here in the UK attempting to coax any Brits to up house and make a beeline for lovely Canada for the best lifestyle in the world at the moment. Wish I was 21 again!
I'm sat here typing this, and I had a sudden thought,...I'm going to have to get up in a minute for suppies, and I ain't looking forward to the agony which is about to crunch my back. Could be worse I suppose! What if I'd lost £20, and found a rusty old safety-pin! Ho! Ho! Ho! |

Pulled muscles. Ooooh! It's bloomin' agony! And it's worse in the morning, even after sleeping. Thanks for your tip BG, we know Ibuleve is good but we've had a tube of Deep Heat lying idle in the cupboard for a few years, so we have to use it up. It does help after about 6 applications. I am a little better today, but poor old Liz is pretty rough at the moment.
The weather is still more like October here, so the forecasters were spot on when they said it was going to be a mix of sun and rain. |

Fussy You are right the green sections are very hard on the eyes.
What rotten weather this past two days, it is more like autumn than summer . I feel sorry for people that are on holiday especially those that are camping or caravaning .As once things get wet you have an awful job to get them dry ,we use to do a lot of camping years ago when the children were young and we often had soggy cornflakes for breakfast Don't think we could do it now our old joints could not cope with sleeping in a sleeping bag on a camp bed.
Hope you and Liz are slowly getting better. |

Yeah, the weather is pretty lousy at the moment, innit. And it's much cooler, but I don't mind that, I don't go much on sweaty weather. I've had a bit of a struggle getting up to my pad here again cos' of the pulled muscle, but Liz is much worse than me, even though she's taken some Syndol tablets. But I must say, there is a slight imptovement in both of us.
Where is that man we know as Bob, again. He popped in here a few weeks ago, and then wooof, he's gone. Perhaps he's on one of those beer festivals again, or taking a trip in the helicopter. Ooooo! He can't half spin 'em, eh! Ho! Ho! Ho! Him and his bloomin' German lingo. |

Fussy: if you were an elephant, would YOU jump? I mean, why would you? hahaha. Hope you and Liz are recovering. You should have warm weather soon - we just shipped it over to you! Sunday was so warm, I burnt my shoulder driving in the car! So I'm darker on the passenger side, haha. Well, it matches my husband's tan on the opposite side! This week's excitement: my youngest brother is home from Alberta for a bit, and my baby sister (36) is home for a visit over her birthday. She is mentally challenged. Gillian will be helping me in the office [conveniently my dad is not in the office this week, having flown away like the proverbial wife of the yellow bird]. This means us girls [literary license] can 'work' together. Gillian will be shredding paper, doing little messages, and visiting. What a helper. ;) |

Naturally, we are working industriously as usual! Ha! Here's a tune for you from my youth: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBWqdvtgaNw&feature=PlayList&p=899E1A754CC25C3C&index=4&playnext=4&playnext_from=PL ^_^ Doncha love to sing?????? Didn't say I COULD, just sayin' I sing anyway! haha
FAL: try again, mate! Or was that code for: your days are numbered? Or were you just 'weighing in' ?
It's supposed to be 30 degrees Celsius today, 38 with the humidity. Dropping to 11 overnight. [Celsius conversion: double it and add 32. So 11= 54 F] THAT means possible Tornado weather. Yes, we have had the occasional twister around here. Good thing God is watching over me!! |

I believe you are working very hard .LOL
Good rousing hymn that ,I sing a lot too but mostly songs like that Yellow bird one you mentioned ,to entertain my grand children.
Don't go sending any Tornados over here just the sunshine will do.
Although we have had a few over here but thank goodness I have never seen one .

I've got to be quick,...I've been cut off for 4 hours today, - damn broadband.
Yeah, That police choir singing Glory Glory was great. Nice to hear some decent music on the web, instead of all the screeming and howling we hear from the pop stuff. 'xpect I'll be crucified for that comment! Ho! Ho!
I've got more to post but I better post this now. |

Hi crazynance, Whose been behind the wheel then! And what does hubby think of your competence on the road? Us men usually have some bloomin' comments to make, like,...'you are too close to the guy in front' or 'slow down woman, you're breaking the limit,' or you didn't signal before pulling out to pass that Ferrari.' Ho! Ho! Ho!
How's Kat's driving these days? I bet she's super confident now. And how's Raine getting along?
I'd better post this now, or I'll have been wasting my time again if the damn thing cuts me off,

It's like the middle of winter, and I wouldn't be atall surprised to see snow before the day is out.
Still it could be worse, couldn't it! We could suffer a severe shock from suddenly finding a posting from Bob or Larry, or The Gravedigger, or Mrs Gemini, or, or, or, or, somebody. |
