It's twenty-three years ago today since Sonny and Sam were born. It's hard to believe it was that long ago, it seems like no time at all. I still miss them, I love these two to bits and wouldn't swap them for the world, but that doesn't stop me missing all the ones that were here before them. Every time they misbehave (which is about fifty times a day ) I tell them they'll never be as good or as bright as Sonny and Sam, but there again, I used to tell Sonny and Sam they'd never be as clever as Laddie. The truth is that however bright or thick or good or naughty they are I loved -- and love -- every single one of them and I wish they could ALL be with me right now. It would be a bit crowded on the settee, LOL, but it would be my idea of Heaven

Yes, I can well understand your undying love for Sophie and Sadie, and of course the others before them as well. Once an animal lover, always an animal lover!
They are priceless, Pauline. As you know I also have a fanatical love of nigh all animals, and the friendship one gets in return for kindness shown is unbelievable. In the last few years I've had a leaning towards helping in some way, the aid in caring for horses (mares and foals) who have been left to roam the wilds and suffer starvation and neglect. Most of these horses have worked hard, pulling heavy weights throughout their lives...mans' slaves!
And, how some heinous people can illtreat animals, I'll never know.
Seeing some RSPCA pictures of animals living in horrible conditions almost drives me insane. The so-called law, human and animal is a disgrace.

My first pet was a mouse, I called him Marmaduke. Do'nt ask me where I got that posh name from because I ca'nt remember I did'nt have him all that long, that's the trouble with mice innit, they do'nt last Should of bought something like a Parrot or an elephant then I'd probably still have them today. Not much room to keep an elephant in a caravan though
