Well this site is really going to pot lately isn't it 90% of our former members have vanished off the face of the earth, Fussy can't get in here because of his computer and I'm having computer problems too No idea what the problem is but it goes on and off dozens of times a day, and when it's on it isn't responding. I bought it on the 11th of February last year, which means the 1-year warranty expires next Saturday and at the moment I'm still waiting for a reply about getting it fixed before then, but I'm not holding my breath. Anyway, because it's playing up it means I can't change all the Christmas photos and stuff on here #128547;, I'm posting this from my iPhone, but I can't make changes because all tth the photos are stored on a site I can only access from my laptop, so I'm a bit stumped at the moment. Hopefully I'll be able to get things sorted so I can get all these Christmas decorations down before Easter Computers can be a real pain in the bum sometimes

Oh dear, sorry to hear that your having computer problems too When I hear about all the trouble people have with their computers it makes me almost glad that I have'nt got one of my own, at least if this one here goes wrong somebody else has the hassle and expense of getting it fixed (but I still wish I had my own though) Hope both you and Fussy get things sorted soon or I'll have to start having conversations with myself
Don't worry about not being able to change the photos and stuff, I like the Christmas decorations At least you managed to change the background, the Snowdrops are lovely. There are'nt many signs of Spring around here yet, still seeing snow on the high ground but mostly it's just rain and flipping cold
Just read through your post again and spotted #128547; written in the middle, so now I have to ask, what the heck does that mean ? Is it some sort of secret code or what ?
Oh well, suppose I might as well trudge over to facebook now and see whats been going on since last week. Hope you and Fussy get your computer probs sorted soon because it gets very lonely on here

Still no sign of Fussy then And no sign of Pauline either, or Bob or The Gravedigger, not even a sign of our friendly poltergeist It's so depressing it hardly seems worth the bother of visiting at all anymore |

Oh dear, Fussy still not back then Still, it's nice to hear from you Bob (even if I do need a translator to know what your saying sometimes ) Hope The Gravedigger has'nt really fallen into a hole and I think Fussy might have your guts for garters when he finally gets back and reads that comment
If there's nobody else to talk to I suppose I might as well pay my respects to facebook, but I'd much rather be here |

Well as you can see I've finally managed to get rid of all the Christmas decorations on here and get ready for Spring I'm wondering if it was worth the bother though, with so few people posting on here these days Oh sorry Larry and Bob and Gravedigger, that probably sounded bad, I'm glad you're all still around, but none of you are able to post very often and Fussy having computer problems the site's like a blooming morgue a lot of the time. I so miss the old days with Beacon Girl, Moonraker, Gemini, Big Brother, Rob and so many others, it makes me so sad sometimes, remembering those days.
Anyway, on a more cheerful note, I hope you like the new scheme, and hopefully Fussy will manage to get back with us one day soon

Fussy still not back then I'm beginning to think we might never hear from him again
No offence taken at your comment Pauline, I understand how you feel, you've put in so much work on this site over the years, I miss the old days too, this site used to be such a busy friendly place, but with so few of us left it must make you feel very depressed. I for one could'nt blame you if you decided to give up on it, but I hope you do'nt because I'd miss it. Hopefully things might pick up again one of these days
I like the new decor too, very fresh and Springlike, makes this Lamb feel like gambolling around in the fields Pity the weather at the moment does'nt allow for much gambolling You need an anchor just to keep yourself from blowing away in these winds. Roll on Spring and hopefully some nicer days.
Ah well, off to facebook now I suppose, which is ok as I can talk to a few of you on there, but it's not the same is it, it's so impersonal on there |

Hello Larry, hope I haven't missed you, I meant to pop in earlier but I had problems with an exploding light bulb It's been a funny old week altogether, and not exactly funny ha-ha Then this site is really depressing me these days so I don't bother to come here very often now. How did we go from being such a busy little site with so many members, to a blooming ghost town ?
Anyway, I'll just post this quickly and hope to catch you, although I wouldn't blame you if you stopped popping in at all any more |

Ooh that was a surprise , I was just about to walk sadly off into the sunset (like they do in ghost towns ) when I spotted your post, we must have been typing at exactly the same time I'm so glad to see you here, I was beginning to feel like the last man (or last Lamb) in the world.
I don't blame you for feeling depressed about the site, it makes me sad seeing it so deserted these days, but it must be so much harder for you after all the work you've put into it over the past 13 years or so Would'nt it be great if some of the old crew would return to the fold (another Lamb reference there ) Beacon Girl, Gemini, Big Brother, Murtle, Princess Di, (I sometimes wonder what happened to her hedgehog ) and all the others. Who was that bloke who used to write everything in code ? think it was Ziv something or other ? We used to have such a lot of laughs back then
O well, at least you and me are still here and Bob and Gravedigger pop up now and then, so between us we'll try and keep the site alive, and hopefully Fussy will get back in here one of these days. Better pay my weekly visit to facebook now and see what's been happening since last Sunday. Keep your spirits up, things might pick up one day soon |

Thanks Larry, at least you're still here, and SOMETIMES Bob and The Gravedigger as you said, so I'll keep going for a bit and keep hoping for a miracle I really wish Fussy would get back though, he was the mainstay of this site, I loved reading his stories about the old days in Aberdare. I used to get an email from him now and then, but I haven't heard from him at all for a while, so I really hope he's OK.
I've just been looking at the members list, that bloke you mentioned was Zihv Yzxpdziwh Yeah it was hard work de-coding his messages wasn't it ! Almost as difficult as understanding Bob's weird version of the English language According to the list he (Zihv) hasn't posted on here since 2006 -- eleven years ago It doesn't seem that long does it
Well I'd better go and see what the pups are up to now, they've been very quiet for a while and I always get suspicious when the aren't making a noise See you next week I hope.

I'm late today, b****y engine trouble again But I see I have'nt missed much anyway, still no Fussy and nothing new since last Sunday It's getting almost too depressing is'nt it, wish we could wave a magic wand and bring everybody back again
If there's nobody here to talk to I suppose I might as well go and bleat over on facebook, but I'd be much happier if Fussy and all the others would come back here to chat, facebook's ok, but it has'nt got that personal friendly touch that we had on here for all those years I'm going now before I burst into tears |

YOO HOO! YABB DABBA DOO! At long last I'm connected to our site, after a hell of a b****y struggle with W10 and I Explorer. I'm still a bit worried though, because I was connected 3 times before, but when I tried to post the b****Y thing didn't respond, and went dead each time. It's been catastrophic, and I've lost 14 of my 135 favourite web sites dated back to 1998, they were special ones connecting to several World WarII settings in the RAF in the Far East. Anyway,...hope this works. Fingers crossed! |

Hi Larry.Hope this works today, my message worked on Friday night, so I hope this one does as well. How's life pal? Hope you and your family are OK. Hells bells, it's been a b****y depressing time not being able to connect to our site and I hope this W10 & I Explorer doesn't kick the bucket again. I won't type any more now, in case it has another fit. See if this works,...cup your hands, here goes...flip flop flap flwp,...4 Teasers for the youngsters. Take care pal.
Isn't it strange, I had a Dell computer from 1998 to a few months ago, (18 years)and never had a problem. Then a few months ago because of the new Windows 10 I had a local computer shop to build up a new one for me. So, perhaps there are snags in dark places...if you know what I mean. |

YAY Fussy, great to see you back again m8 you've been missed, it's been like a flaming morgue around here without you, I was starting to think we'd never see you again. I nearly did'nt make it here myself today, what with the clocks going forward and confusing things this morning, then we laid on a special mother's day lunch for the missis, and then when I set out to drive down here I could'nt get the damn motor to start again, second week in a row and by the time I finally got it going I thought is it worth the bother of driving down there today when it's this late in the day and there probably wo'nt be anybody to talk to again, I'm so glad now that I decided to come after all otherwise I'd have missed your triumphant return
So apart from the computer problems how're things going with you ? Hope you and Liz are keeping well, we're all fighting fit here, apart from a few sniffles. It's been flipping cold here for ages but things seem to have perked up a bit this weekend, wonder how long it'll last
Blimey, that old computer of yours lasted a long time did'nt it I've known some people whose marriages did'nt even last that long
It was bloody awful what hapened in London last week was'nt it, another bloody maniac, I just do'nt understand what the hell is wrong with these people. Then I heard on the news that his mother lives in Carmarthen which was quite worrying, that's a bit too close to home for comfort I just hope he hasn't got any more relatives in this area with the same lunatic tendencies as himself
Well time's getting on so I supose I'd better pay my courtesy visit to facebook, see if Pauline's posted any new pics of the terrible twosome since last week Thanks for the Teasers, hope your computer keeps going from now on so you'll be back here again next week. |

Oh heck, sorry to hear that It's a lovely day today too, your supposed to have flu when the weather's cold and damp, not when it's warm and sunny Hope you'll be better soon m8.
It's been a funny old week for weather, we've gone through at least 2 seasons since last Sunday, the only thing we have'nt had is snow. But yesterday and today have been almost like Summer, wonder how long it'll last before it ****** down again
Well if there's nobody else to chat to suppose I might as well pop over to facebook. Hope you'll be feeling better soon Fussy. |

No news of Fussy yet, I really hope he's getting better, he's been the mainstay of this site since the very beginning, over the years he's posted on here more often than I have myself (even though it's my site ) Get well Fussy, we miss you.
I've been out and about this past week, I've had more walks in the past seven days that I've had for years. Sophie and Sadie got too old for long walks, and poor little Katy was such hard work on a lead that even short walks took ages, but recently I've been to places I hadn't been to for a very long time and it's been great -- and the weather's been fantastic for it too
I'm a bit knackered today though, I wore some new sandals yesterday and the blooming things wouldn't stay on my feet, it was a real effort to walk in them and hold on to the pups' leads at the same time without tripping over, by the time we got home I was aching from the struggle. I was going to go for just a short walk today, but after a lovely morning the weather's not too good this afternoon. Maybe I'll take them just along the lane later this evening.
Well I'm off to make myself some dinner now. Hope you're doing OK Larry, and I hope Fussy will be better soon. |

Oh dear, that's disappointing, I was hoping to hear some good news this week that he was feeling better. I was so pleased that he finally managed to get back on site two weeks ago after his computer trouble and just a week later he was gone again Get better Fussy m8, we're all sending good vibrations your way hoping for a speedy recovery.
Sorry to hear about your aches and pains Pauline, you should get yourself a little cart or some other contraption with wheels on and let the pups pull you everywhere, that would save your feet from having to do all the hard work Yeah the weather's been pretty good for the past week, but not so great today, dull and overcast at the moment. At least it's still dry at the moment though, let's hope the rain does'nt return too soon, I can put up with cloudy and even a bit chilly, but that damn rain was really getting me down
Suppose I'd better pop over to facebook now then. Fingers crossed there's some good news about Fussy by next Sunday. |

Glad to see you back Fussy, I've been worried about you m8, hope you'll be back to 100% fit soon, we all miss you when your not around
I'm a bit late this week, had to take the family to an Easter egg hunt at a friend's place and they hung on there, I kept trying to hurry them up but they just said 'Shut up misery guts, we're enjoying ourselves' so in the end I threatened that if they did'nt get a move on I'd go home by myself and eat all their Easter eggs and that finally got them to move
Nice weather did'nt last, after all that lovely sunshine it's back to Winter again, might have expected it though I suppose, when do we ever have nice weather on a bank holiday Hopefully it'll perk up again after Easter.
Better drop in to facebook now I suppose, oh, I just remembered that it's your birthday this week Fussy, so Happy Birthday from me and the family, hope you'll be feeling well enough to enjoy a few treats on the day See you next week I hope

Hi Fussy, sorry to hear your still not feeling 100%, hope you'll be completely recovered soon, the weather's been a bit better the past few days so hopefully a spot of sunshine and warmth will help with your chest. If it just stays dry it would be something, I for one would be happy if I did'nt see another drop of rain til next Christmas.
What do you think about this upcoming general election then ? I'm not much interested in politics but I'd be quite happy if we got rid of the conservatives, and I'm not a fan of Teresa May either. Still, it could be worse I suppose - at least we have'nt got Donald Trump That bloke has got a serious problems with his mouth, every time he opens it he puts his foot in it. I've never thought of myself as brainy but compared to him I'm a genius
Suppose I'd better make the trek across to facebook now to see what's new. Oh, before I go, I seem to remember it's Pauline's birthday on the 26th, so Happy Birthday from me, hope you have a lovely day

Oh dear, no Fussy again this week, hope he has'nt had a relapse This flipping weather does'nt help anybody with a bad chest does it, it seems to change every five minutes, thought for a while that Spring might have finally arrived, but we had some bloody awful winds last night and today the rain's back again and it's bloomin freezing
Did you see that piece on the BBC Wales news today about that bloke who found some ancient artifact down a rabbit hole ? There are a lot of rabbits around here and when I'm working in the fields in future I'm going to pay a lot more attention to their burrows
Well I ca'nt think of anything else to say so I suppose I might as well pay my weekly visit to facebook. Hope to see you back fit and well soon Fussy.

Fussy still not back then, it's been over 2 weeks since we last heard from him, I'm with Bob on this, GET WELL SOON Fussy m8, we all miss you, this site needs you.
At least the weather's perked up at last, it's been like Summer these past few days (or maybe even better considering some of the weather we get in a British Summer ) Forecast for the next few days is looking pretty good too, so fingers crossed that it's right for once, I've seen enough bloomin rain in the past few months to last me for the next twenty years
Oh well, suppose I'd better pop over to facebook now and catch up on what's new. It was nice to hear you again anyway Bob, and hopefully Fussy'll be back soon too.

Still all quiet on the western front then No Fussy, no Pauline, not even a word from our Bob. I ca'nt really think of anything to say when there's nobody hear to talk to
I heard on the news that there's been an unusual amount of jellyfish washed up on beaches in the Tenby and Saundersfoot area, hope Pauline and the dogs do'nt run into any of them.
Oh well suppose I might as well go and see what's happening on facebook this week, hope Fussy or Pauline or Bob or the Gravedigger or SOMEBODY will have posted something by next Sunday, I'm getting very depressed by all this quiet

Oh damn, nobody to talk to again this week I'm getting really depressed now, it hardly seems worth the bother of coming here at all any more, I'm starting to feel like a little lost Lamb without all my flock to have a natter to I hope Fussy hasn't had a relapse, I miss his chats and his anecdotes about old Aberdare.
At least there's something to cheer me up here this week, your new wallpaper is very bright and cheerful and that's a great photo of Molly and Meg They're getting so big now
Suppose I'd better amble over to facebook now, there's usually more people to talk to over there, but it's not as friendly as out little site -- there's no place like home

Hello Larry, are you still here ? I meant to post something earlier but I lost track of the time. I'm sorry I haven't been around much, I'm a bit under the weather at the moment, I broke a tooth a couple of weeks ago and the pain nearly drove me bonkers for a few days, it was agonising It's settled down to just painful now, but I've also got quite a lot of pain in my gum and it's worse some days than others. My problem is that since this new bus company took over they've cancelled several buses and changed the times of others, so it's now almost impossible for me to get to Kilgetty in time to catch a train to Whitland where my old dentist is without having long waits for connections -- whichever way I try to work it I'd have to be out of the house for at least six hours So the nurse who visits now and again (to do my blood tests etc) is trying to get me in to a dentist that's a bit easier to get to, but I have to wait until tomorrow to find out if she's been successful. In the meantime I'm just having to suffer -- and try to chew everything on the other side of my mouth Haven't heard anything from Fussy for a couple of weeks now, I really hope he's alright. In the meantime I'll try and post on here a bit more often -- hopefuly, if I manage to get signed on with a new dentist I'll be feeling a lot better by nest week

Well blow me down!! I was just about to sign out and toddle over to facebook when I suddenly spotted your message, posted only 19 seconds after mine, we must have been typing at exactly the same time
I'm so pleased to hear from you, but sorry about your tooth problems, a broken tooth can drive you mad as I know from experience Hope you manage to find a new dentist and get it fixed very soon.
Well I can go and visit facebook with a smile on my face now, and if Fussy's back by next Sunday the smile will get even bigger

Nice to hear from you again Fussy Hope you'll be completely recovered soon. Larry, I meant to post a message for you last Sunday, but I'm still under the weather with my mouth. I managed to get to the dentist and had my broken tooth out, and they gave me a course f antibiotics for the abscess in my gum, but they don't seem to have worked because I'm still getting pain. It's not quite as bad as before but still annoying and I also seem to be very tired all the time, I keep falling asleep in front of the TV. Anyway, here's a little belated birthday card for you, hope you like it |

Great to hear from you again Fussy, but sorry your still not 100% Fussy, and you too Pauline, sorry your still not too good either. I hope you'll both be fighting fit again soon.
Thank you both for your birthday wishes, sorry that I didn't get here last week but that was because of my birthday too, we'd arranged to visit some relatives last Sunday, it was supposed to be just for an hour or two and one birthday drink, but when we got there it turned out they'd prepared a surprise do for my birthday, with a cake and everything, it would have been very rude to leave early when they'd gone to so much trouble, so we ended up staying a lot longer than I'd planned and by the time we finally drove home it was much too late to come down here.
Is'nt it terrible about these bloody terrorist attacks, it makes you afraid to go anywhere at all, I'm very glad that we're miles out in the middle of nowhere, I do'nt think these bloody maniacs are likely to bother travelling to rural areas, not enough victims for them to slaughter where there are only about 2 people to the square mile It's high time the government took stronger action against these lunatics
Well time to pop over to facebook now I suppose. It was so good to hear from both of you again, hope you'll both be completely recovered soon and fingers crossed I'll chat to you both again next week (And Bob too if he's sober enough to post )

Still no sign of anybody then I hope your all ok and just too tired to be bothered to post anything.
These past few days have been HOT have'nt they I was hoping for a bit of nice weather this Summer, but not so hot that I turned into a puddle of sweat every time I go outside, it would be nice if I could just lie around in a deckchair drinking something long and cool, but it's blooming hard to work in this heat Still, I suppose we should'nt complain, we'd soon be grumbling if it started raining again
Oh well, I ca'nt really think of anything much to say now, so I suppose I might as well pay my compulsory visit to facebook. But I really hope that at least ONE of you will be back here by next Sunday. |

Well it looks as if even Larry's deserted us now Fussy's still not back, no sign of Bob or The Gravedigger and I'm hardly ever here myself, well there doesn't seem much point when there's never anybody here -- and I've also had a few problems recently
I'm seriously thinking of giving up this site, there doesn't seem to be much point in keeping on paying for a site that nobody ever uses any more |

Oh no, that would be such a shame after all these years Although I can understand your point of view, but I'd really miss this site if it was'nt here any more
Sorry I did'nt make it here last Sunday, I was a bit under the weather, nothing too serious but I did'nt feel up to driving anywhere (and the missis would'nt have let me anyway, she's worse than an old-fashioned matron when it comes to ordering her 'patients' around
It really is strange here these days without Fussy though, he has'nt been here since my birthday which was, what, nearly 5 weeks ago I think (I'm not that great at counting ) I do hope that he'll get better and come back one of these days, but I'm worried about him, as he says himself he's no spring chicken. If you can hear me Fussy, get well soon m8, your friends are missing you.
Oh well, time to pay my respects to facebook I suppose, hope there's something on there to cheer me up at least. Talk to you next week I HOPE.

Still no Fussy then and no anybody else either I'm getting depressed now and I imagine you must be feeling down too, so I wouldn't blame you if you do decide to go ahead and give up the sight, but if you do do that Sundays will never be the same again
And where the heck is that Bob? His literary efforts might be a bit hard to understand sometimes, but at least they helped to cheer me up
Suppose I might as well wander over to facebook now then, there might be something on there to make me smile. |

Hello Larry, I hope I haven't missed you, I meant to pop in here earlier but Molly wasn't very well and I was a bit worried about her. I think she's recovered now though as she's been running in the garden and playing with Meg again
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I had an email from Fussy at last He says he's still not so good, he's had to take a load of antibiotics and it's been difficult for him to get up all those stairs to his computer, so he's very disappointed that he hasn't been able to talk to you on Sundays, but he'll do his best to get in touch again soon. So fingers crossed that he'll be a lot better soon, it's a relief to hear from him isn't it
Sorry to hear you've been under the weather too Larry, I haven't been all that good myself either, so it looks as if we're a load of old crocks together (Although you're not all that old ) At least my ankle is a lot better now, the swelling's gone down and the bruising's disappeared, it's still a little bit painful at times, but it's almost back to normal.
Better go and make myself a spot of grub now, I was going to cook something earlier but I got worried over Molly and forgot about eating, then remembered about Fussy's email and thought I'd better pop in here and let you know about it, hope I got here in time to catch you. Hopefully I'll be back again next week.

Woo-hoo ! I was just about to log out and sign in to facebook when I spotted your message, two seconds later and I'd have been gone and missed it
Oh yes, that IS good news that you've heard from Fussy, I've been so worried about him and like you I'm very relieved that he's been in touch at last. Hope he'll be feeling fit enough to get back here one day soon I'm feeling a lot more cheerful now
Glad your foot's better and hope Molly's fully recovered

Oh dear, all quiet on the western front again this week (Was that a film ?) I was hoping Fussy might be back today, just have to keep my fingers crossed for another week I suppose. Hope your getting better Fussy, it's lonely around this site without you M8
I heard on the news that Swansea's in the running to be named City of culture in 2021, I've never been quite sure about exactly what being a city of culture involves, but it would be great publicity for Swansea if it won, a lot of people outside of Wales still seem to have the wrong impression about Swansea. I blame it on Dylan Thomas, did'nt he call it a lovely, ugly town? I think a lot of people who read his stuff remember the word ugly, but speaking for myself I think it's a great place -- and it's got the Gower Coast right on it's doorstep
Well, better go and pay my respects to facebook now I suppose. Hope Fussy or Pauline or Bob or SOMEBODY will be here for a chat next week.

Yabba Dabba Doo! Hi Larry! Nobody knows how sorry I am for not having been able to keep in touch with you on your Sunday afternoon trip. My problem started on April 3rd when I picked up a chest infection bug, and I was treated with 21 Antibiotics, which made me feel a bit better after a few days. But then a few days later I was feeling absolutely lousy again, so I was given another 29 Antibiotics. From then on I felt really down, I lost my taste buds, and all food tasted like MUD, so it has taken me a few months to get back to normal and to enjoy a meal, and would you believe it, at present I am half way through taking 84 tablets for a blood booster. Well, I hope you and your family are in good health. Sorry I haven't got any goodies for you today, but you may be lucky next time. Take care pal.
By the way, there may be an odd time when I may be 1 degree under and unable to climb these 37 steps up to my computer. But, I will do my very best.
Ooooh! Bob is back then, see above.

Well YAHOO I was wondering whether it was worth the bother of signing in here at all today, but now I'm very glad I did, not only is Fussy back but so's Bob, things are definately looking up
Very sorry you've been so ill Fussy, three months is a long time You must be rattling by now from all those flipping anibiotics Fingers crossed you'll keep getting better from here on, this site is lost without you m8. And no worries about the lack of treats, seeing you back with us is enough of a treat for me
Nice to see you again too Bob Where have you been on your travels ? Have you been doing a tour of all the pubs in Wales ? (Or maybe all the pubs in the whole of the UK and Germany ) I went travelling myself last week, I went all the way to Llanelli to pick up some farm equipment
All we need now is for Pauline and The Gravedigger to post something and things will really start getting back to normal Pauline's been a bit under the weather herself though in the past few months, but hopefully she's feeling a lot better as well by now.
Oh well, time to drop in on facebook now, but at least I'll be happier about it this week. Take care of yourself Fussy (and you too Bobby) and hopefully I'll be seeing you again next week |

It's really great to see you back on here Fussy, you've really been missed. I hope you're on the road to recovery now I've been a bit under the weather myself on and off, first with my tooth and the abscess in my gum, then my ankle, I've also been feeling very tired for quite a while, everything seems to be such an effort and when I go to bed there are many nights when I can't sleep at all, then other times I can't stay awake and I keep nodding off in front of the TV. But whether I sleep or not I'm still constantly tired. I'm supposed to be having more blood tests done next week to see if they might need to change my tablets.
Well I've got to go and see to my dinner now, but I'll pop in again soon, and it was lovely to hear from Fussy again. |

Oh well, never mind Bob, it was nice to hear from you even if it WAS just a few words
Good to hear from Pauline again too No Fussy this week though, hope he's gradually getting better. And at least hearing from Bob and Pauline makes me feel less like a little lost Lamb
Been a funny sort of week again has'nt it, we've had at least three seasons here since last weekend, all we need now is a bit of snow and we'll have had all four (Only kidding mr. weatherman, I hope you do'nt send any of the white stuff until at least November )
Well, better pay a visit to facebook now I suppose. Hope to see you again next week

Hi Larry. You are not going to believe this! I was sat here last Sunday at 11.30 in the morning, ready to drop you a few lines. I clicked on our site but it didn't respond, so I switched off and then back on again, but no go, so after a few minutes I noticed that my router was not lit so that said it all. I then new that I'd have to get in touch with Virgin Media to have a replacement router. Anyway, the following day I had a chat with Virgin and after a lot of queries about the fault, they told me they'd send me a brand new router, and I received it on Thursday. But they wer'nt able to set it up with my computer until yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock, so I was glad the chap turned up. otherwise I wouldn't be here again today. I could have set it up myself but they have to check, I suppose because of the possibility of 'fidling'. Well, how's life then pal? How's the world treating you? Hope you and your BEST FRIENDS in the house are constantly smiling. Well, what a hell of a state the world is in at the present time, threats from N Korea, knifers threatening people on the streets, and those bykers attacking people with b***** acid. And I'm sick to death of the increase in animal cruelty, Larry,...it's a sickener innit! BTW, I didn't realise it till last week, Liz told me I'm on a 3 month tablet taking stretch,...I thought it was one month,...I'm beginning to look like a tablet. I'm feeling a lot better now though. Right then,...here goes. Hold out your hands, 2 cans of Guinness, and a small pack of Forrero Rocher for your 'better half'. And there's been a change for the treasured foursome,...I tasted a Galaxy Minstrel last week so I thought it would be a nice change for the youngsters, so here goes,..bwmp bwmp bwmp bwmp. Oooooh! Have you heard,...the possibility of a whacking heatwave to arrive soon, 43c, that's about 110f. i hope it doesn't happen. It reminds me of the Far East in my younger days. Well, that's about it for this week, pal. Take care, you've got a hell of a long way to go. I'll try my best, to make it here each Sunday.

Sounds as if you've been having a lot of problems there Fussy, makes me glad I have'nt got a computer, the kids grumble about it sometimes because they get to use computers at school and they tell me that most of their friends use them for their homework. But even if I went out and bought one they would'nt be able to use it because I'm told we're in some sort of black spot here and we wouldn't get any reception. You have to climb up the hill even to get a mobile phone signal and I don't think that would work with a computer, the cable would'nt be long enough to reach the plug
Glad your feeling better though Fussy, though by the time you finish all those tablets you'll be rattling like a pair of maracas every time you move
Yea the world's in abloody terrible state is'nt it and seems to be getting worse all the time. I get worried about letting the kids go anywhere these days, they're hinting about some show they want to see in Cardiff next Christmas, seems the school is arranging a trip, but I'm in two minds whether to let them go, you never know where these bloody terrorists are going to strike next
Struth, I hope that heatwave never arrives, 30c was too bloody hot, 43 sounds like Hell (literally )
Well thanks for all the treats Fussy, the kids will be pleased to get them again Time to pay my duty call to facebook now I suppose, see you next week all being well |

Hi Bob! Sorry to have missed chatting to you recently, 'cos as you know I've been 1 degree under since about last May. But I'm 'kicking' again now so...who knows, I might be able to climb up these perishing 39 steps a bit more often from now on. So you've been gallivanting around then,...I bet your mother-in-law missed you a hell of a lot. Ho! Ho! Ho! You know I feed Larry with a treat every Sunday, well I've got my clever system working for you now, 'cos I had a new router fitted on here last Saturday, so cup your hands, here goes...Whoof,....it's a can of your favourite Guinness. Hope you caught it. How's Rover? |

Hi Larry. As you can see I've managed to creep up the 39 steps a few times this last week. The weather has changed a bit now,...dare I mention it but we are on the brink of A..... now,...must be careful 'cos Pauline doesn't like being reminded of it. Well, the world is in a scary state, innit Larry. That N Korean idiot is causing a lot of trouble. And there seems to be criminals rioting all over the world. And those morons carrying out acid attacks on people should have the same thing done on them. Well, I've changed my mind about the treats for your youngsters Larry. I thought the Minsters were too sweet, and could do them harm. So, I've got 4 Teasers again. Flop, did you catch them? Hope so. Right then, cup your hands, here goes...blotch, it's a can of Guinness pal. Hope you caught it, and here is a small Ferrero Rocher for your better-half,...it's a small one 'cos she's afraid of putting on weight. That's it for today pal. Take care, slow down a bit, you've got a long way ahead of you. |

Ooh I'm a bit late this week, blame the missis for that, she got me fixing something for her and it took longer than I thought
Glad you made it up the 39 steps Fussy (I remember the film but I did'nt see you in it ) Why have you got your computer all the way up there though ? It would save you a lot of energy if you brought it downstairs or bought yourself a laptop (Or if you moved to a bungalow, Lol )
Yea the news is very worrying lately is'nt it, between those two fat fools in USA and North Korea I can see us heading for world war 3 one of these days I honestly ca'nt understand why anybody with half a brain cell voted for that Trump idiot, he's as thick as two short planks (I was going to say as thick as something else but I decided to keep it polite )
Yep, we're almost into the A season now Been a funny old Summer has'nt it, even more extreme than usual, half the time we were pegging out from the heat and other times you needed a mac and Winter woolies. Today's not too bad but the weather forecast gives rain again for tomorrow
Better jump over to facebook now or I wo'nt get home in time for my supper Thanks for this week's treats, (looks like Bob enjoyed his can of Guinness too ) Take care and hope to talk to you again next week.

Hi Larry. Funny weather now innit, Larry, sunshine one minute, rain the next. And the news says that Hurricane Gert has broken up on it's way across the Atlantic, otherwise we would have had a few violent storms here in parts of the UK. We were chuffed here yesterday, we haven't had small birds like sparrows here for about 3 years, and suddenly we had a swarm of them, must have been about a hundred, or more. Liz had put up 2 (cut in half) coconuts which contain mealworm food,...by teatime they were both empty. So Liz nips down the road to get another half a dozen, so I hope the sparrows come back for more 'goodies' or we will have thrown a few quid out of the window. Ho! Ho! Ho! That attack by those b******S in Barcelona is just plain devastating innit Larry. When will it end! It seems to go on and on in cities all over our part of the world, and the rest of Europe. And it's sickening to know that many of the attacks are carried out by teenagers, who must be thick in the mind to get involved in such hateful crime. Well, I've got all your treats ready, so cup your hands. here goes. A can of Guinness, next..,4 Teasers...next 1 small Ferrero Rocher. Hope you caught the lot, mustn't disappoint the family. Hope your better-half hasn't put on weight. Pauline seems to be having a rollicking time with Meg and Molly. I can't stop laughing sometimes when I take a peep in my iPad, and read a few lines about the unbelievable antics carried out by the two 'females'. I'm so glad that they keep Pauline ticking over. Take care pal. How's the Rover working these days? I'm still hoping to win the big cash, so that I can keep my promise to get you a brand new Range Rover. See you next week. |

Hi Fussy, yea the weather's funny here too, (and not funny ha-ha either) Thursday night we had some thunder and lightening, Friday was a bit mixed, yesterday was'nt too bad at all, not that hot but with some quite bright sunshine and it stayed dry all day, but today it's hardly stopped raining all day.
Nice that your sparrows have come back again we have'nt had a shortage of them round here, we get swarms of all sorts of birds, I like seeing them but the boss is'nt so thriled when they eat his grain
Yea the news gets more depressing all the time does'nt it. you never know where the sods are going to strike next I always think we're safe enough out here in the middle of nowhere, but I worry about my family and friends who live closer to bigger towns and cities. And if those two lunatics in America and North Korea start messing around with their nuclear missiles I guess we could all be in danger no matter where we live
Yea those dogs of Pauline's are a mischevous pair right enough, reading about some of the things they get up to is as good as a comedy show They definately keep her on her toes
Oh well, time to pay my respects to facebook now and see what the two of them have been getting up to this week Thanks for the treats. I don't think the missis has any need to worry about putting on weight, she works hard enough to burn off any extra calories, she's always on the go Take care, and hope to see you next week.

Oh dear, no Fussy again this week, hope he's ok and has'nt had a relapse or any other nasty ailment
Not a bad day today is it, we had a little trip out this morning, into the wilds of mid-Wales to admire the scenery It's a bank holiday tomorrow though, so it'll probably p*** down all day
There seem to be a lot of disasters happening all over the world lately don't there, landslides, storms, earthquakes, not to mention the bloody terrorist attacks And those two idiots in the US and North Korea are two massive disasters too Makes you wonder how long this old world can carry on before it blows itself to Kingdom come
Suppose I might as well pay my duty visit to facebook now. Hope your alright Fussy and hope you'll be back by next week. |

Hi Larry.....Would you believe it! There must have been a hiccup on my site last Sunday, because I definitely posted you a shorty message telling you that we were due to be picked up to go to Liz's nephew's 50th party, and it wasn't all that a shorty either, because I had to sort out your treats and, how you would have to go get a big bag, because I was having to drop the lot in one go, if you know what I mean. Ho! Ho! Ho!. Anyway, I definitely posted it, but when I checked last Monday, there was no sign of it. Hope you get this today. Weather not too bad, except for today, it's pouring down here at the moment. But thank God we're not in Texas, Larry. It must be the most horrendous damage and loss of life for a couple of centuries. There were some very serious rescues of elderly and sick people, and there were some wonderful brave rescues of animals, an animal in one arm and a child in the other. What a terrible loss of life, and property. Well we're certainly in the Autumn,....sorry Pauline! Now then pal, cup your hands, here goes, bwmp bwmp 2 cans of Budweiser. And here's 4 Teasers for the 'bosses.' I thought your 'better half' would like a change now so we got her a box of After Eights again. Take care, hope you are all in good health, and 'kicking', Ho! Ho! Hope you get this, or I'll go stark raving mad. See you next Sunday. |

Hi Fussy, well that was strange thing was'nt it, I wonder what went wrong When you were'nt here last week I thought maybe you'd been taken ill again, happy to hear it was just the site that had a funny turn and not you
It's terrible what's been going on in Texas, when I see it on the news I'm always glad we do'nt live in countries where they have hurricanes, cyclones, earthquakes and so on, I can't begin to imagine how terrifying it must be. It was very windy here last night, I notice we always seem to get winds and such following a huge storm in America, I think we're getting the tail end of it after it's done it's worse over there. Wet and miserable all day today, but at least the worse of the wind seems to have died away.
Yep we're definately getting into Pauline's unfavourite season now, lots of leaves starting to come down off the trees and it's getting dark earlier every night, also dark when I get up in the mornings now. It's hard to get in the mood for work when it still looks like it's the middle of the night
Well time to visit facebook now I suppose. Thanks for this week's treats The missis likes After Eights (and so do I, so if I'm nice to her she might give me a few ) Look after yourself and hopefully I'll see you again next week |

Hi Larry. Lousy weather today innit, it's pouring down here at the moment. But thank God we are not in the Atlantic area of Cuba and Florida, or we would have been blown from here to Llandudno. Just saw on the Sky news now that Hurricane Irma has just hit lower Florida. Seriously though, it must be hell on earth and water to all the people in that area. And while it's most important to save the millions of people, I and others are also very concerned about the safety of the poor defenceless animals. I saw on Friday the rescue of a horse from a deep river. The poor soul was up to his eyes in muddy water, but due to an amazing action of a single man he was saved, it took about 20 minutes. It brought a few tears to my eyes! Pauline and the two girls seem to be getting along well, even though the pair of them are up to all kinds of 'naughties' tipping this and that off windowsills, and knocking odds and ends full of liquids on to the floor. Ho! Ho! Ho! Not to worry, they are priceless. Right then, go get a carton, and hold it steady. Here goes, Bwmp, that's your Guinness,...now for 4 Teasers...flwp. And this week, here's a small Ferrero Rocher, 'cos they were out of stock of After Eights. Take care pal, keep the family in good spirits by spoiling them. Hope to see you next Sunday again.
Enjoy your treats! |

Hi Fussy, Larry and anybody else who might pop in. Sorry I haven't been around here much lately, things have been a bit up and down here lately, I've been using my iPhone a lot to post on facebook, using their mobile app, but it's not as easy to use this site from a phone. I can't hang around for now either as I'm in the middle of making a cake, but I just wanted to let you know that I've found out what happened to Fussy's missing post. It IS still on here, but it seems that it got posted in the wrong forum, it's in the Giggle Galore forum, I think you had the wrong glasses on when you posted it Fussy
I tried to move it to this forum but I can't, I could move the whole thread, but not individual replies, so if you want to read it you can see it here You must be logged in to see this link. Gotta go now, I'll try and come back again later. |

Howdy Fussy and Pauline, nice to see you both today
So the mystery of Fussy's missing post has been solved at last Had you had a drop too much of the Bailey's when you posted that Fussy Or I suppose you could blame it on the antibiotics I'll pop in and read it before I go today, to see what I missed
Yes things are looking bad in America at the moment, first Texas was'nt it, now Florida. And I think they've had it quite bad in some parts of Canada too. I do'nt think I could live in a place like that where you're constantly worrying about whether your house is going to still be there next week or next month, and having to be evacuated and leave everything behind. And like you I worry about the animals, I saw a clip some time back of a couple sitting on the roof of their house with their dogs while the house was surrounded by floodwater up over the bedroom windows. They'd refused to leave in a rescue boat.because they could'nt take the dogs with them. I'd be the same, but so many animals do get left behind I'm very glad they were able to rescue that horse.
Weather's stinking here too, last night was bloody cold and today's not much better. It was raining earlier, dry at the moment but who knows how long it'll stay dry Still, as you say, it could be a hell of a lot worse.
Oh well, time to visit facebook now. Thanks for today's treats Fussy Take care everybody and all being well I'll see you next week

Hi Larry. 'ow'r iw doin pal, hope you are feeling as well as an old chap I remember in the village of Cwmdare, Aberdare, back in my childhood days. We used to call him Will full pelt, 'cos when he walked you could swear he was running. I loved my childhood days from 1922 to 1951 when I left there to live here in Swansea. Many local men had nicknames, like Shinkin (Jenkin) one side, 'cos he walked with a peculiar shoulder on a sideward position to the rest of his body. And when I arrived here in Swansea I heard that a local policeman was called Dai Book and Biro, when the Biro pen was first made popular. Ho! Ho! Ho! Well, there must have been hell on earth in the Caribbean and Florida and other places recently Larry, thousands of buildings ruined, and peoples lives lost, and the poor animals must have been frightened to death. And now the wicked b****** who left that bomb on that train. Thank God he's been caught before he left Dover, otherwise the young sod would have carried on his vile terrorism. Ho! Ho! Ho! Did you read my post that got lost? That proved that I wasn't a liar, eh! Here goes, go get a bag. 2 cans of Budweiser...bwmp, hope you caught them. 4 Teasers, and a box of After Eights, for...you know who! Take care pal, hope you are all in good health. See you next Sunday.....I hope. |

Hi Fussy well as you can see I'm running very late this week, the flipping motor would'nt start this morning and luckily it was something I cold fix myself, but it needed a part, I knew a place where I cold get one on a Sunday but I obviously could'nt drive there myself, so I had to ring a mate so he could drive out to my place to pick me up, then drive me to collect the part and drive me back home to fit it. Finally got it finished an hour or so ago so even though it was later than usual I was determined to drive down here to let you know I was okay, did'nt want you thinking I'd abandoned you (or popped my clogs, Lol )
I love all those Welsh nicknames, they show what a great sense of humour the Welsh have got, I remember hearing about somebody called Dai central eating because he'd only got a couple of teeth and they were in the centre of his mouth
Yea I always worry about the animals when I hear about those terrible storms. At least here in Wales, if there are floods the animals may at least have a chance to go higher up the hills to escape the water, but they probably ca'nt do that in somewhere like Florida, because from what I've heard about it there are'nt any hills, the whole state is more or less flat
Oh well, better pay my weekly visit to facebook now, then home for supper and bed, when you have to be up at 4 in the morning you have to get used to early nights (even though it means missing a lot of late night tv shows ) Thanks for the treats Fussy, look after yourself, and hopefully I'll be here to talk to you EARLIER next week

Hi Larry. Well, it was 'Autumn begins' last Friday, but it started here about a fortnight ago when the leaves came pelting down on the lawn here outside our house. Sorry Pauline! Anyway, we are off to our surgery next Saturday, for our Flu jab, hope it works, but we have been lucky to have escaped the winter flu for the past 11 years, so 'fingers crossed'. So you had a hiccup with your Rover last week then. You got the part and did the job yourself, that saved you a few quid, that's for sure. Well, we are so lucky not to have had those horrible hurricanes in this country, not so far anyway. It's going to take years to rebuild all the thousands of homes and other properties. What a hell of a catastrophe, and I'm still thinking about the poor animals that failed to escape the tragedy. By the way, we are still getting sickening news of ill-treatment of animals here in our country,...there should be severe punishment to those wicked b******S who commit such cruelty to a defenceless creature. OK! Hold your bag steady, here goes, a can of Guinness, 4 Teasers and a box of After Eights. I like 'spoiling you'. Take care, hope to see you again next week. |

Sorry I haven't been on here much but I've had endless problems lately, a lot of them with my laptop which is driving me mad, so a lot of the time I've only been able to get online using my phone, which is OK for facebook, but not so good for this site Then yesterday I had another nasty fall -- which you can read about on facebook - and today Meg's cut her paw somewhere, so at the moment we're both in sticking plaster or bandages and feeling sorry for ourselves. I'd better post this now incase the laptop goes off again, sorry it's short, hopefully I'll be able to sort the laptop out soon. |

Good afternoon Fussy and Pauline Ooh, sorry to hear you've had another fall Pauline, are you sure you have'nt been sampling Bob's Guinness ? (Only kidding ) sorry about Meg too, hope you'll both be feeling better soon.
Weather's very mixed here, it ca'nt seem to make up it's mind if it's Summer. Winter or some point in between In the past week we've had lovely sunshine, gale-force winds, torrential rain and some bloody freezing cold nights But as you say Fussy, at least we're lucky not to get the sort of storms that they get in other countries. I wonder sometimes why they bother to rebuild in those places when it's probably just going to be destroyed again in the next hurricane, why not just move to a safer area and build there instead ? I think that if I'd lived in Florida I'd have moved away years ago.
And then there was that massive earthquake in Mexico. I heard someone say on the news that children had been killed when a school collapsed, which made me think of the Aberfan tragedy And we seem to be hearing of a lot more of these things in recent years, though I'm not sure if that's because they're happening more often or because we get to hear more world news nowadays than we did in the past.
As for animal cruelty, do'nt get me started on that or I might end up getting banned from all these websites for swearing too much. I think that when they catch these people they should boil them in oil or maybe cut them up a pice at a time and let them watch while you fry the bits you cut off
Well I suppose I'd better pay my respects to facebook now. Thanks for this weeks treats Fussy, good luck with the flu jabs, sounds as if they're working And Pauline, hope you and Meg will be fine again soon. |

Hi Larry, it's pouring down here at the moment, and it's going to prevent Liz from planting 150 Narcissus bulbs, and 70 Polyanthus bulbs that she had planned to do this morning. Never mind, there's always another day, that's got to be the least of her worries. Well, as I've said before,...the Law is an ass. But, at last it has decided to punish the morons in this country who ill-treat animals. Thank God that the proof of cruelty to animals means up to 5 years in prison. This should have been in force from many years ago, which would have lessened the suffering of millions of the defenceless souls. I pop in to Facebook now and again to see that Pauline is having a fully occupied job keeping an eye on her 2 'bosses' Meg and Moll. They are a full time job for Pauline, but she would find it very lonely without their antics. They certainly are a good pair to have prancing around the house. Right then,...go get a bag, a plastic one will do. Here goes...bwmp a Budweiser this week, I forgot to get the other one. Splish,...4 Teasers, and now for a small Ferrero Rocher. Hope you bagged the lot. Take care pal, hope you are on tip-toes, and the Rover is 'in good running order'. See you next week,...I hope! |

I'm just going to try and post a few words on here before this ****** laptop cuts me off again It's giving me endless problems at the moment, sites that usually log me in automatically keep asking me for my password over and over again -- I've had to change my password for some sites so many times that even I can't remember what they are half the time, it takes anything up to ten minutes for a page to load half the time, and then it very often disappears again and says "This page cannot be displayed". I often lose things I've typed because the page goes blank and I have to start all over again, and when it DOES work it's so slow it drives me to screaming pitch. At least with facebook I can post things using the mobile app on my phone, but viewing this site on my phone isn't so easy because even with my reading glasses on it still looks very small, but I persevere -- as my granny would say "These things are sent to try us" (and it's definitely trying ME I can tell you )
Anyway, on a more cheerful note, the cut on Meg's foor is much better so I didn't have to take her to the vets, my foot is still painful, but getting better slowly. And hopefully my new rug for the other room is being delivered tomorrow -- AT LAST. I ordered it last November when I started re-decorating the room. It was SUPPOSED to take 16 weeks to arrive because it was a non-standard size and had to be specially made, which meant I should have got it at the end of March, but it didn't arrive. When I contacted them they said there had been a delay and it was now due in May, still didn't turn up and they then told me it would be arriving in this country on the 22nd of June. Guess what ? It didn't arrive then either. Contacted them again and they apologised and promised it would DEFINITELY be here on the 18th of September, so when it still wasn't delivered by then I sent an email informing them that they either delivered the rug or refunded my money, and that if they didn't I was seeing my solicitor. So I now have a definite delivery due tomorrow (at least I HOPE it's definite this time) so all being well I can post some photos of it soon. Can you imagine waiting just over 10 months for a rug !!!! I know Rome wasn't built in a day, but I bet it didn't take as long as this blooming rug
Well I'm starving so I'd better go and make myself some grub now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this message will actually get posted and not disappear like some of my others have been doing |

A very good afternoon to you Fussy and Pauline, it's good to have you both back here again
Weather's lousy here too this weekend, we had some odd sunny spells last week, but a hell of a lot of rain as well Sorry Liz ca'nt plant her bulbs (I thought polyanthus grew from plants not bulbs though ) this weather's not good for anything at the moment, if you dig holes to plant stuff the holes fill up with water before you get anything in, and anything that's already planted gets drowned and half of it rots. Makes you wonder does'nt it, there's half the world starving because they've got no water for their crops while we've got too much of the flipping stuff it's a pity we could'nt do a swap, some of our water for a share of their sunshine
It's good that their bringing in new laws for animal abuse, but I think in some cases even 5 years is'nt long enough to punish them for what they've done, some of the b******s I've read about deserve to be whipped and sent to prison for life (And if we still had the death penalty I'd hang them )
Glad to hear that Meg's paw is better, hope your "paw" will be better soon too I saw the pics you posted on facebook last Sunday and it looked pretty bad You really should have sued the council for damages, that pavement is their responsibility so they should have got rid of all that damn moss
Blimey, 10 months does sound a hell of a long time to wait for a rug Hope it finally turns up tomorrow, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and look forward to seeing pics of it next week Hope you get your laptop sorted out too.
Oh well, time to pop across to facebook now I guess. Thanks for the Budweiser, the Teasers and the Ferrero Rocher Fussy, yea I managed to catch them all and did'nt drop any Look after yourselves and hope to see you next week (barring floods, blizzards or broken down motors )

Hi Larry. Something funny happened on here now. I already had typed a start of my message to you, about 5 lines, when suddenly it all disappeared. So there appears to be a fault on my computer or our site. Anyway, I said that I find time flies these days, 'cos so many idiots cause our minds to be taken up with all the killings all over the world. That was mayhem in Las Vegas wasn't it. How did that idiot manage to get all those rifles/machine guns into that hotel to start with? Yes, hope Pauline has not hurt her foot too badly. Meg and Moll seem to keep her fully occupied with their pranks around the house. But they certainly are a great help to her. Bet your youngsters are smiling as they make their lists of 'wants' for Christmas. Ho! Ho! Ho! Not long to go now before you'll be shopping for treats. Go get your bag. Here goes...Bwmp...A can of Guinness. Now, 4 Teasers and a box of After Eights. Hope you caught them all. Well, I hope this goes through to you without trouble, pal. Take care, see you again next Sunday. Innit funny, how this should b****y do a 'funny' when I started the message to you. I don't ever have a bother with this ,puter when I use it for any other reason,...only when I have connected it to our site. So, hope it sorts itself out somehow. See you next Sunday. |

Well blow me down, looks like there's an epidemic of computer problems today, this one's been acting funny today too I had trouble getting to sign in here, I had no idea what to do about it, but luckily the owner here knows a bit and he eventually managed to get it going again, hopefully it'll hold on until I leave
Yea the world is full of bloody crackpots these days for sure, what the hell possesses these weirdos to make them go around shooting perfect strangers? And how do they manage to get hold of so many guns, it's about time somebody in America did something about all the guns in the country. It would'nt stop all the nutcases, but surely it would help.
Well I'm running late now after waiting so long for this computer to get sorted out, so I'd better jump over to facebook now. Thanks for the treats Fussy and hope to see you next week barring any more computer troubles |

Hi Larry. Got to be a 'shorty' today pal, we've got visitors from Somerset. Weather not too bad today, but just saw a warning on here, a Hurricane Omelia (or something like that) is on the way in the next few days. The perishing world is in a hell of a state at the present time eh! And that b****y idiot raping young women,...stupid sod! Here goes,...a can of Guinness, 4 Teasers and a pack of After Eights. Hope you caught them all. Sorry it's a quickie this week. See you next Sunday. Take care pal, keep Rover in good nick. |

'Ow do me 'earty (That's my Somerset accent ) Did your friends from Somerset bring any cider with them
Yes, I heard about that hurricane on the news, (think they called it Ophelia) they said it would be affecting Ireland, but when they showed the weather map the outer edges of it were over parts of West Wales, so I'm wondering if we should start battening down the hatches Hope Pauline will be okay, she's closer to Ireland out there in the west, and coastal areas always seem to the first to get hit.
Mind you, I've never had a lot of faith in weather forecasts, ever since Michael Fish told us that there WAS'NT going to be a hurricane - and look what happened then Then some silly buggar said yesterday that it was warmer than usual for the time of year and I thought where the hell is she living ? It was flipping freezing here last night and it's not much better today. I sometimes think these tv weather forecasters live on another planet
Oh well, better pop over to facebook now I suppose. Thanks for the goodies. Hope you had a nice day with your visitors. See ou next week |

Hi Larry. Another wet and windy day here, but could be worse when I see violent storms in other parts of the world. I often wonder if the Gower Peninsula seems to shield us from the ultra violent stuff, because I don't ever remember 2 or 3 feet deep water in the streets of Swansea. Just been watching an old film called Suspicion with Joan Fontaine and Cary Grant as the stars,...before your days Larry, 1941. I must have seen it about 60 years ago. Well, I still have funny settings of chats on here, someone is meddling about with typing on funny sections, Ho! Ho! Ho! I wonder who the culprits are. Well, Pauline seems to be OK, even though the two girls are up to little tricks here and there, but they certainly look healthy, even though they prance around a lot. Well, I guess you'd better go get a bag pal, so that you can catch the treats. I'll drop the lot in one go. OK here goes. One can of Budweiser (forgot the Guinness), 4 Teasers, and 1 small pack of Ferrero Rocher. BWMP, hope you caught the lot. Take care pal,...go easy, you've got a long time to go. See you next Sunday. |

Afternoon Fussy Yes we've certainly had some bloody awful weather lately have'nt we lot of branches lying all over the place and even whole trees blown down in some places, not to mention damage to buildings and many places without electricity It's not so bad here today though, it was wet earlier but it's drying off now and the sun is even shining through now and then. I hear the west coast got hit quite badly, hope Pauline and the dogs are okay.
Yea, 1941 was just a BIT before my time, I only missed it by about 31 years I like to watch those old fims on the telly sometimes though, that's when I have time to sit and watch anything at all , (which is'nt all that often ) Sometimes I think I'm bad to be in this line of work, out in all weathers, but then again I'm not what you'd call academic, lousy at maths and I'd hate to be cooped up inside an office all day, so you ca'nt have it all ways
Oh well, time to visit facebook I suppose. Thanks for all the treats. See you next week all being well
