Yabba Dabba Doo. Thanks Bob.
BTW, I replied to your previous few lines but I messed it up when posting it. I must have botched it up somehow,...all due to this perishing ForumCo. I mailed it to Larry by mistake.
See you soon pal.

Hip, Hip, Hooray - We're back up today

I'm a bit under the weather today so I won't hang around too long, but seeing my website up and running again has cheered me up a lot, so we're celebrating with a fireworks display

Wahey, yippee, hurrah, three rousing cheers and yabba-dabba-doo into the bargain, the site is finally working again

Had trouble getting online today kept getting a message that said 'Google chrome is not responding' then when I finally managed to get to the site I could'nt believe my eyes when I saw everything was back to normal, thought I must be hallucinating or I was still fast asleep in bed and dreaming it all I am SO pleased that it was'nt a dream and that we're really back to normal again, fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong again from now on.

Weather's been very mixed here this week, one moment the sun is shining, five minutes later it's pouring down, some days it's freezing cold, other days it's almost warm, it probably WOULD feel much warmer if it was'nt for the perishing wind, that never seems to stop blowing whatever sort of day it is, sometimes it feels as if it's trying to cut you in half.

Oh well, time for my duty visit to facebook now, have to keep up with my many fans on there -- Ha-ha It won't be a patch on being able to post on here again though, it's been bloody fantastic hearing from you lot again

Hi Larry. I did send you my chat this afternoon. Something must have gone wrong. I might have made a mistake in the posting of it. But I definitely did click 'post message' and it appeared to be OK.

Sorry if I made a bloomer of it. Have a look in the list of posted messages for March 17.

Hi Larry. At last,...our chatting site is back to normal. It was all completed a week before last, but now it's OK, let's hope it stays like this. And it's good that Pauline has been able to connect to ForumCo after all the perishing trouble we had.
The weather here today started with brilliant sunshine, but it soon changed to a strong wind and light rain, but I think Easter is not far away.
Before I started dropping you these few lines I once again saw on TV the RSPCA ad about the ill treatment of animals. I try not to look at the damn thing, but it sickens me to be aware of the horrifick way these poor creatures have to suffer. I don't have to tell you what my punishment would be to these b****Y criminals.
Well, it's great to be able to chat again without all the perishing problems we had.
OK, let's get going then, go get the carrier bag. I'm not going to tell you what the goodies are this week,...it's secret from now on. Here goes,...,Fflip Fflop Fflap. Hope you caught the 6 items.
All our pals on here will now be able to read our little gossips. Bob and our other chatters will sneak in on our chats. . . .
Take care pal, see you next Sunday,...I hope!

Hi Larry. Ooooooh! Glad we are back to normal on here. Didn't hear from you last Sunday, either you couldn't make it to your 'puter spot, or there was a posting error on here,...like I have experienced many times myself these past few months. Anyway, hope you and your family are all OK.
The weather here not too bad today, still a bit on the cold side but looks as if we are going to have an early Spring. Putting the clocks forward 1 hour last night certainly changed getting up this morning, my 'better half' called me with a shout...it's 10 o'clock,...shook me out of my socks. Ho! Ho! Ho!
Funny old world pal, nothing but storms like that recent one in Mozambique causing mayhem and loss of lives caused by nature turning things upside down. Then all the b****y killings by maniacs from the age of 12. And the damn Brexit arguments...enough to drive one 'up the 'b****y wall.
Well, at last we are able to get back to normal on here,...thank God for that. Go get your equipment bag. Here goes, the usual normal supply for you and the 'Special lot', blllwmp, ffflippp, ssslwmp. Hope you caught the lot.
Take care pal, hope the Rover keeps buzzing along.

Afternoon Fussy sorry I missed last week, could'nt get the b****y motor to start and could'nt get it fixed till mid-week It's starting to cost me almost as much in repairs as it would to buy a new one, think I'm going to have to send it to the knackers yard one of these days

Weather's been pretty good here most of last week, felt quite Summery a lot of the time, but it's not so good again today, really chilly compared to last week and we haven't seen the sun all day. Somebody said they'd forecast snow again, do'nt know whether to believe that or not, but I would'nt be all that surprised, nothing about our strange British climate surprises me any more

Yea the world's in a mess is'nt it, although looking back through history I think maybe it's always been in a mess, we just did'nt hear so much about it in the old days. Now that we've got airplanes and television and the internet, news that used to take weeks, months or even years to reach us, travels around the world instantly so we hear about wars and disasters as soon as they happen, and seeing it all played out on our tv screens makes it much more real than hearing about it months after it happened. Seeing so many terrible things on the news and not being able to do anything about it gets very depressing, I sometimes think we were better in the old days when we were'nt so overwhelmed with it all

Better pay my respects to facebook now I suppose. Thankyou for this weeks treats - whatever they are Look after yourself m8, and barring any more tantrums from the motor I'll be back next Sunday

Hi Larry. Missed you last Sunday, sorry you had trouble with your Rover starting it's antics. Hope you sorted out the problem. I've lost all thoughts of car costs now as I packed in driving a few years ago. How about this. I've still got the cost bill of a job done on my Mini Cooper back in 1968 here in Swansea. It's unbelievable. Here are the details: 2 Clamps...6 shillings. 1 Mounting...One shilling and 9 pence.
Fit new Exhaust System, and fit new Sump Guard...£3-12-6, Totall Bill £4-0-3. Goodness knows how much that little job would cost today.
Weather fairly good here today, lots of sunshine and a little bit warmer. Yes, as you said last Sunday, loads of problems throughout the whole world took place centuries ago but we were not made aware of them in those days. It' sickening to learn about the knife crime, especially knifeing by kids as young as 12. Anyway, hope you and your family are in the best of health. One thing we can be sure of, our Pauline is fully occupied with her two best friends, she really is trailing the countryside in various parts of Pemb's.
Right then, go get the bag. OK, here goes. Fflwmp, Bblotttch and Chhhoccci. The last one is Ferrero Rocher, hope you caught the lot.
Take care pal, hope the Rover behaves himself from now on.
See you next Sunday,...I hope.

Hi Fussy, well I have had a flipping terrible time trying to log in here today, I do'nt know if the problem was with the site ir this computer, but it was driving me nuts, I thought I was never going to make it, I was just about ready to give up and go home, but I thought I'd give it one more try and lo and behold I finally managed to sign in. Just hope that this posts ok now and does'nt vanishninto thin air.

Blimey Fussy, only £4 o.3 for all that work on your car If only wecould get things done for those prices nowadays, you'd probably have to stick at least a couple of 00s on to the end these days. But I suppose even £4 was quite a lot back in 1968, wages back then were a heck of a lot less than today. I was'nt even born back then, but I know that my dad was'nt earning very much in the 1960s.

The weather's been very mixed here this past week, we've had freezing cold winds and torrential rain and one hight I think I heard thunder in the distance, I even saw snowon one of the mountans in the distance, but yesterday and today have been almost like Summer again, especially yesterday. I wnder what thiscoming week will bring us ? Probably a heatwave, a blizzard, a typhoon and a hurricane, maybe all on the same day, nothing would surprise me any more

Oh well, I'd better be signing off now, with all the trouble I had trying to log in I've already stayed a bit longer than usual, so if I do'nt head home soon the missis will be sending out a search party Thank you for all the goodies this week, stay well and unless we get flodded out or snowed in I'll be back next week

Hi Larry. Hells Bells! It's hellish cold here today, it warned us on the news yesterday that it was likely to freeze a bit these next few days. So you also had a b****y problem signing in on here last Sunday. That doesn't surprise me a bit, things have been unbelievably odd on here, I often thought it was my weakness in knowing how to deal with odds and sods on here, but I wasn't always to be blamed because there were hellish faults on this site for several months.
Still a hell of a time in several parts of the UK, b****y knife killings and all sorts of terror here and there, distressing to hear about it all. There should be tougher sentences, and another mass number of police to do a 24 hour duty. And you know me Larry, I would dish out a hell of a punishment for those maniacs who ill treat the defenceless animal. The RSPCA advert on TV about the horrible sight of some animals sickens me, to look away from the damn thing.
Hope you've fixed the problem you had with the Land Rover.
Well, that's about it for today pal. Go get your bag, now things are back to normal I'll be able to tell you what's what. It's a Guinness Bbblwtch, 4 Teasers fflipflop, and a Ferrero Rocher...Bbbblooops. Hope you caught the lot.
Take care, hope you don't have more trouble with the good old Rover.
See you next Sunday.

Afternoon Fussy Yea it's pretty damn cold here today as well, complete change from yesterday which was quite a nice day, not as warm as a couple of weeks ago, but sunny and dry. Still dry today (touch wood) but the sun's been keeping itself well hidden and there's a blooming cold wind

There does seem to be more knife crime around these days, not sure if that's because there is more of it going on or because we hear about it more because of increased communication nowadays, but I think it might help to cut down on all types of crime if there were more police out and about on the streets. Years ago you would see them out patrolling the streets on a regular basis and everybody knew who their local policemen were, they were part of the local community. These days you very rarely see any policemen (or women) and when you do they're usually shooting past in a police car at very hight speeds, as if they're afraid to hang around just incase they actually get called on to investigate a crime. Luckily I've never needed to call on their services myself, but I've heard people say that when they DO report a crime the police sometimes do'nt even bother to come out, or when they do it's too late to find any evidence. When I was a kid we got up to some pranks, but never anything serious, and the threat of a policeman or seeing one on the beat was always enough to make us behave. Some of these kids nowadays just don't seem to care or to be scared of anything, everything seems to have gone downhill since my young days. Thank god none of my kids show any signs of being budding juvenile delinquents.

Time for my weekly visit to facebook now, hope I do'nt see any more of those horrific posts about animal cruelty today, some of the things you see on there make you want to go out and kill the people responsible

Thanks for the Guinness, the teasers and the Ferrero Rocher, look after yourself, and see you next week all being well.

Hi Larry. Oooooh! Is it an early summer, it's been hot here yesterday and today, so far. Hope it keeps sunny from now on to...say early November with just a few showers here and there to keep our planet healthy. I can't imagine what I'd feel like now if I had to suffer the perishing heat of the far east for six months or more, without a drop of rain, or even a gust of wind.
I'm an old boy now Larry, I knocked 97 last Thursday, and I was raided by 7 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren,...sorry, I wasn't raided by all of them 'cos some were too busy at work, but I had a hectic day.
Well, what the hell next! Just seen the news about 130 deaths and 300 seriously injured in some trouble in Sri Lanka now. I don't ever remember there being so much killings of people and defenceless animals throughout the world. It's b****y crazy.
Well, hope ypu and your family are all OK. I'm glad that my NEW system of supplying you with my treats has worked, so go get the bag. Here goes, Bbblwmp, it's the usual Guinness, now for 4 Easter eggs, here goes Flip Flop Flop Flip, and of course a pack of Ferrero Rocher for the Governess. Hope you caught the lot.
That's it for this week pal. Keep the Rover plodding along.
Hope to make it next Sunday. Take care pal.

Afternoon Fussy Yes we're definately having some fantastic weather at the moment, I was very tempted to wear my shorts to work, but with all the funny things lurking in the long grass around here, not to mention that some of the animals like to stick their heads in some funny places I decided it might be safer to stick to sweltering in my longs

Ooh I hope you enjoyed yourself on your birthday Fussy, wish I could get in here to send you a message on the right day, maybe one year I can when your birthday next falls ona Sunday. Let's see, if it wason a Thursday this year then it should be on a Sunday three years from now No, hang on a mo, 2020 is a leap year is'nt it, they're every four years, so next year your birthday will two days later instead of one, so it'll be on a Sunday in two years not three. That's a date then, on your 99th birthday I'll be able to get down here and wish you a happy birthday on the right day Maybe I can do it for your 100th as well, I'll have to wangle my boss into giving me some time off on that day, seeing as it's how it'll be a very special occassion

When you read about all the violence and terrible things going on in the world it makes you wonder about god does'nt it? I'm not a very religious person, but I think sometimes that if there is a god then maybe it's about time he intervened and did something about it, because some of the things you hear about these days makes Sodom and Gommorah seem like Disneyland by comparison

Oh well, time for the weekly visit to facebook now. Thank you for this weeks treats, the kids will love the Easter eggs Take care and see you again next week (unless we have a blizzard before then )

Hi Larry. Here we go again, warm and sunny weather one minute and icy cold and pouring rain the next. Anyway, I shouldn't complain about the weather when there are such horrific terrorist crimes being committed all over the world. This latest one in Sri Lanka (it was Ceylon when I did some work on Liberator bombers there during my two week visit while I did my 3 year stretch of time in India and Burma during World War2.)
Must be hellish frightening for the locals to see these yobs walking into Christian churches and other buildings carrying bombing packs on their backs. Hells Bells! When are all these killings of thousands of people going to stop.
On a lighter note, thanks for my birthday wishes pal, and I look forward to your tricks when I hit the 100 mark. tongue in cheek!
I see that Pauline is having a hilarious time walking Meg and Molly around Sardis and other walks. I'm glad that she's got Tom to help her keep her little 'pad' nice and tidy, her house looks quite classy doesn't it. And Bob and Rover and family seem to be OK and 'Kicking'.
Well, go get the bag then. Hope you catch this next lot. Bbbblwmp, it's a Guinness again. Ffllippp, 4 Teasers for the 'bosses'. And here goes,...a small pack of Ferrero Rocher for you know who,...Ssshlopp.

Take care pal. Hope the classy Rover is trawling his way around.
See you next Sunday.

Howdy do Fussy, I'm a bit late again this week. I volunteered to drive the wife on a vist to some friends earlier today (well to be precise she told me that I was volunteering, which amounts o the same thing ) meant to het back earlier but you know what these ladies are like when they start gossiping (hopefully she'll never read that or I'll be on a bread and water diet for a week )

Yea I wish this weather would make up it's flipping mind, it goes from a heatwave to freezing cold almost overnight, you ca'nt plan anything in advance because you do'nt know what's coming next And did you get those high winds the night before last ? It brought down a lot of tree branches around here, bits of tree all over the fields and the lanes, and most of them were only just starting to come into leaf, think it's blown off a lot of blossom too which might affect fruit crops later in the year.

I really find it hard to understand all these killings in the name of so-called religion. I'm not all that religious myself, but if all these people profess to believe in god then surely it's the same god for everyone, so why ca'nt they all just get on with worshipping him in their own way and let others do the same? If they could all just agree to differ and learn to get along with each other the world would be a much better place

Better pop over to facebook now, do'nt want the missis telling me off for getting home late (even if it is her fault that I'm late today, Lol ) So thank you for this weeks goodies, and see you next Sunday all being well.

Hi Larry. Sorry about this pal, we've got visitors here, just arrived, so I don't think I will be able to drop you a line tomorrow, 'cos we may be taking a trip with these friends of ours.
So go get your bag, at least you will have had your treats. Hold the bag, here goes,...1 Guinness, 4 Teasers, and a pack of After Eights.
Hope you are all in good health.
Take care pal, will get in touch again next Sunday.

G'day Fussy me old cobber (as they say down under ) well as your not here today I'm guessing that you did go on that trip with your friends At least I know that you and tour computer areok and neither of you have conked out hope you had a nice day and the weather was'nt too bad.

It's still flipping weird around here, the sun is shining a lot but there's no warmth in it, when you get outside the wind is so cold it cold cut you in half Hard to belive it was so hot just a few weeks ago, hope it warms up again soon.

I heard on the news that the Welsh government is considering bringing in new laws to deal with puppy farms and to stop the pups being sold in pet shops. It's about bloody time that something was done to stop the people who treat those poor dogs so badly, but it remains to be seen whether they'll actually do something about it, or if it's just some more of their empty promises

Oh well, better go and see what's been happening on facebook now I suppose. Thanks for all the goodies, hope you enjoyed your trip, next week you can tell us where you went .

Ho! Ho! Ho! So I'm your old cobber then,...so by comparison I'm going to call you...my young cobber Well, the sun is shining HOT here today, I sat in our little front garden about an hour ago, and just after 15 minutes I could feel the heat starting to roast my cheeks so I said cheerio to my spell in the garden today. I wonder if we are going to have a sunny summer, like the one we had after I returned from the Far East in 1946, in 1947 I was dyeing for a cold summer after the perishing heat of 100% plus in Burma, but would you believe it, it was the hottest summer in Aberdare for years.
Yes, it is disgraceful how people in this country of ours are ill treating thousands of dogs. How the hell can these b******s be so cruel to one of the world's most lovable animals,...and cats by the way. It hurts every time I see the RSPCA ad' on TV. Even Liz says turn the damn thing off. I would make the punishment so SEVERE that the b*****s would be frightened to hell.
Right then, go get it. Here goes, Blwttch, it's a Guinness. And Bwmmp 4 Teasers. And here goes, the special one Fllllip, it's Ferrero Rocher. Well that's it for this week, take care pal, hope to see you again next Sunday. Hope everyone is OK in your household.

Howdy do Fussy, yea it's been pretty warm here for the past couple of days too and the forecast says it's going to last until at least Thursday, so let's hope their right. As long as it does'nt get TOO hot, 100 would definately be too much for me so I do'nt think I'll be booking any holidays to Burma in the near future Not that I'll ever be likely to afford it even if I wanted to go, I'd count myself lucky to have a week in a tent in Bridgend

When I see some of the posts on facebook about the way animals are treated in countries like China it makes my blood boil, but I think it really is time that they changed the laws on animal abuse in this country too. I heard on the news recently that the maximum sentence for animal abuse in England and Wales is just 6 months which they said was the lowest in Europe. They also said that only 8% of those convicted get to serve time in jail, which I think is disgusting If it was up to me I'd hang the b*******s

Oh well, time for my visit to facebook now I suppose, hope I do'nt see any more of those horrible posts that sometimes pop up. It makes me quite glad that I only get to visit on a Sunday, it's bad enough to read those posts once a week, seeing them every day would be horrible.

Thanks for this weeks goodies m8, look after yourself, and see you next week all being well

Hi Larry. Sunny and windy here today with threats of rain. But no complaints, it's been fairly good recently. Liz is happy with the weather, she's out in our little front garden at the moment watering the plants and feeding the birds with seeds and blocks of suet. She loves feeding the bird. We didn't see many sparrows last year, but they are back now 20 to 30 of them on each visit, scoffing the block of suet that Liz puts for them two or three times a week.
Well, poor Pauline is having loads of trouble with most of her technical equipment these days, looks as if she has trouble with the signal strength in her vicinity, or there must be snags somewhere.
Yes, like you I'm sickened to hear the depressing news of those b******s ill treating animals, the punishment should be so SEVERE that they would never ever repeat their wickedness again.
Go get the bag then. Here goes, Bbbblwp...it's a Guinness as usual. Now Ffflip, 4 Teasers, and Slllitch, a carton of After Eights.
Take care pal, I'm still hoping I'll win the lottery of millions, so that I can keep my promise of a brand new Range Rover for a chap you know well.

Afternoon Fussy, ooh we've had some lovely weather here for the past couple of days, not a drop of rain since Friday morning, wind's felt a bit chilly in the shade, but it's been nice and warm in the sunshine. It's supposed to stay sunny till the middle of the week at least so I hope they're right

Seems there's an election later this week for the European parliament or whatever, I have to admit I'm a bit puzzled, we're supposed to be leaving the EU so why do we have to vote for it ? And what do you think about this idea they've come up with to lower the voting age to 16 ?Personally speaking, if some of the teenagers I've come across are typical of the youth of today I think they should go the other way and put it back up to 21. Hearing some of the daft ideas some of these kids come out with it frightens me to think that they've got a hand in deciding the government of this country. I'm not saying that all teenagers are the same, but some of them sound as if they have'nt got a brain in their head God knows how they'd have got on id they'd been alive in the last war and been flying bombers at the age of only 18

Well better flit across to facebook now I suppose. Thank you for all the treats (I bet people are dying to know how you do it every week ) Take care, love to Liz and hopefully talk to you again next Sunday

Ho! Ho! Ho! Good to know that you're back Bob, we thought you had left us in the lurch, and gone to live somewhere in Germany.
Now that you are retired, you face life like me, but you're still a 'spring chicken' mun! Bet you are chuffed that your M in L doesn't come with you on your trips.
Anyway, glad that you are back. Hope this site keeps on a steady run, so that we can have a bit of fun now and again. Keep sinking the Guinness pal.

Hi Larry. Very wet here today, but I can sense a change any moment because that's how it is these days, sunshine appears all of a sudden after a rainy couple of hours.
Well, Mrs May will be in the land of freedom on June the 7th, what next, I wonder who they'll pick next to rule the roost? Whoever it is it will still be argumentative from day one. one never knows more bickering than those in parliament. It's a bit of a bore watching the news on TV about disagreements and threats about this and that.
As you can see above, Bob is back and 'kicking'. at least we can have a laugh here and there with his German 'gift of the gab'.
Well, Pauline has had her 'ups and'downs' now and again, but she's lucky she's got Meg and Moll to take for walks around her area of Sardis. Isn't it funny that they seem to bark quite a lot in the nights, sensitive hearing,...as most doggies are known to have.

Go get your bag then. It's a Guinness again Bllwmp! And 4 Teasers for the 'gaffers' Fffflop. And a small Ferrero Rocher for your 'better half'. Shmmook.
Take care pal, will try to get in touch again next Sunday.

Hope you are all OK.

Afternoon Fussy Ooh sorry to hear it's raining there, it's been a really nice day here lots of sunshine and I think it would be quite warm if it wasn't for the breeze, which can be a bit nippy. Is'nt it funny how much the weather can vary between places that aren't all that far apart

Well I personally won't be at all bothered to see the last of Theresa May. but I do'nt suppose that whoever we end up with any time in the future will be any better. All those politicians are the same, does'nt matter whatarty they belong to or what they promise you before the election to persuade you to vote for them, in the end their all a load of bloody crooks out to line their own pockets and buggar the restof us

Nice to hear from you again Bob, I was beginning to think you'd emigrated to some distant planet where there was no internet and no way of contacting us down here on earth, or else got locked in the cellar of a pub somewhere and drunk yourself to death before being found

Yea, Pauline goes on some lovely walks, I always enjoy seeing her photos, they bring back memories of my time in that area. There's some beautiful scenery around where we are now, but I miss being able to walk down to the sea.

Oh well, better go and see what's been happening on facebook now, many thanks for this weeks goodies Look after yourself and fingers crossed we'll both be back next week

Hi Larry. Well, would you believe it, I missed your birthday again. I've never got the exact date on my paperwork, am I right in saying that it's May 31st.? Anyway, here's wishing you a Happy Birthday, hope you had a good day.
The weather is a bit cloudy here today but quite warm, hope we have a good summer from now on. Liz is happy with her flower show in our little front garden, it's like a mini flower show with a few extra large roses, one of which I checked the size of this morning, it's 7 and a half inches across,...now isn't that a whopper! Ho! Ho! Ho!
Well, at least we've got Robert Downs back on here, hope he scribbles a few lines on here now and again.
Hasn't Pauline been showing loads of pics on Facebook, she's taken hundreds of pics of Pemb's with her super camera, and the 'girls' have been great company for her, even though they suddenly bark at odd times of the night.
Right then, go get the bag. Here goes Blwwwwmp, it's a Guinness as usual, but there's a change for the 'bosses', it's 4 Minstrels this week,...the Teasers were sold out. And it's a small Ferrero Rocher for your 'better half'. Hope you caught the lot.
Take care pal, hope to see you again next Sunday, hope you are all well.

Afternoon Fussy Yea it was my birthday on Friday, 47 years young Still got a few years to go to catch up with you though I just figured out that in another three years you'll be exactly twice my age -- hopefully we'll both still be here to celebrate that

Blimey! 7 and a half inches, that's a blooming big rose (if you'll pardon the pun ) Sounds more likea CauliFLOWER than a rose. What does Liz use for fertilizer ? Whatever it is we could use some of it on the farm, we could double our crop yield and make a fortune in a few months Not that I'd see much of the profit, I'd probably be lucky to get another few quid a year on my wages if that Still, I can always dream ca'nt I

Yes I love seeing all of Pauline's photos on facebook, the dogs and the scenery are beautiful she's really got a way with a camera, I'm hopeless, on the rare occasions that I've taken any photos of anything you'd have a hard job guessing what they were of, they're either full of headless people or they're a blurred mess

Wonder why Molly and Meg keep barking in the middle of the night ? Maybe it's that fox that she took the photos of a few weeks ago. Or on the other hand maybe she's got one of those mysterious big cats roaming around the place waiting for a chance to eat her (Only kidding Pauline They're probably barking at something miles away or nothing at all)

Oh well, time for the weekly visit to facebook now. Thanks for all this weeks goodies. Take care and see you again next week.

Hi Larry. Weather not to bad here today, sunny and a bit windy but nice enough to sit in our little garden for an hour.
Ho! Ho! Ho! you are 47 now, and I too hope we can both do another 3 years which will make it 50 years the difference.
Yes, Pauline uses her camera very well indeed, but you say that you'd find it a bit difficult, but believe me most modern cameras are high-tec and most of us find it a bit difficult to get good pic's, even after reading the instructions, which can be difficult to understand to get top quality picture.
Good programmes on TV this last week about the D'day attacks 75 years ago in northern France. Trump seemed to have enjoyed his trip to our part of the world. Funny old world innit, whatever goes on everywhere it's nothing but arguments galore from members of governments, and yobs here and there.
Go get you bag then. It's a Guinness as usual FFFFlaash. The teasers are back, 4 for the 'bosses'.Blifff. And a pack of After Eights for, you know who.
Take care pal, hope to chat for another 3 years.

Afternoon Fussy, yea it's not too bad here today, not exactly Summery but at least it's dry which is better than yesterday when it rained almost continuously for most of the day.

Belive me Fussy, when it comes to taking photos even the simplest camera in the world is too hard for me to cope with My better half has got one of those instant cameras where you do'nt have to twiddle any knobs or focus it or anything, just point it and click, but yours truly can even manage to mess that up, everybody in my photos has either got no head, or no legs, or one half of their body is cut off, and their usually blurry because I always press down too hard on the button and move the camera, I'm completely bloody hopeless

I do'nt know how Trump's got the cheek to attend commemorations for D-day when he's a coward who wasn't even willing to fight for his country, he managed to bribe his way out of being enlisted and now he's got the nerve to attend ceremonies in memory of real heros who fought and died, the fat orange *******makes me sick.

Well I'm off to facebook now, thank you for this week's treats. See you next week barring any hurricanes, blizzards or earthquakes between now and then

Hi Larry. So sorry pal this has to be a shorty today. As you well know it's Father's Day today, and I have been attacked half an hour ago by 9 members of our family, who have threatened to lock me in my settee so they can dilly dally about and chatter away. So I flew up here to drop you a few lines.
Go get your bag. Here goes, 1 Guinness, 4 Teasers, and a small Ferrero Rocher. Bwmbadibwmp! Hope you caught the lot. Sorry I had to make this a 'quickie' today pal.
Hope you are all well, and that they spoiled you today pal.
See you next Sunday

Afternoon Fussy, I think it's stll afternoon is'nt it I've been struggling to sign in here today nothing to do with the site, seems the computer was having an off day The boss man here's been fiddling with it for ages and it seems to be ok now, tough wood but I've lost track of the time while I've been sitting here waiting

Hope your having a nice time with your family Yea I had my cards and the usuall assortment of socks, sweets and after-shave and they also served up my favourite meal for lunch (although I think they had a bit of help from the missis with that )

It's a flippin orrible day here again today, cold, wet and windy, we've had better days than this in December If this is meant to be global warming I think something's gone wrong It's not looking good for the rest of the month either, the forecast says we might have a bit of sunshine next Thursday and Friday, but the temperatures are still predicted to be below 60f which is'nt great for this time of year. I'm starting to think that those few nice days we had in February and March are all the Summer we're going to be getting this year, the whole calendar seems to be turning upside down these days.

Oh well, time to make the weekly trek across to facebook (at least it's not a very long walk and I do'nt have to wear my mac, Lol ) Thanks for the goodies, enjoy the rest of your fathers day and see you next week

Hi Larry. As you can see I'm sending you a few lines on Saturday this week, 'cos we are going on a visit to long term friends of ours near Yeovil, Somerset tomorrow, and I don't think we will be back here before around 6 or 7 o'clock, so I didn't want to let you down after you tinkered along in your Rover to your 'puter only to find no word from Fussy.
Glad you had a good Father's Day last Sunday, no doubt you were spoiled by your 5 'extra goodies'. Weather's been super duper here today, non stop sunshine, but I think there's a warning for rough stuff tomorrow, heavy rainfall I think,...I may be wrong, hope so!
What a carry-on with our government lot eh! Nothing but arguments day after day, and that squabble last night. The world is full of stupid idiots eh. Right then, go get it. Here goes, Swiiish it's a Guinness as usual. And blwwwmp, 4 Teasers for the 'gaffers', and Flwwwmp, a small Ferrero Rocher for your 'better half'.
By the way, Pauline has not been feeling too well off and on recently. Hope she gets over it soon, thank goodness she's got the '2 goodies' to help her through the odd moments.
Well, take care pal, hope you have decent weather down your way from now on.
See you next Sunday

Howdydo Fussy, so your off to Yeovil today, hope your enjoying your trip despite the weather, maybe it's better down in Somerset but it's a b****y awful day here, yesterday was completely different, really warm and sunny all day, best day we've had so far this year I think, then I wake up today and it's like fliping WInter again, cold wet and miserable How canit change so much in just a few hours But then, that's what makes British weather famous is'nt it

I'm getting flaming sick of all our political parties at the moment, theyre like a load of kids squabbling in a school playground and it's time the teacher came out and gave them all a dose of the cane -- but that's something else that's not allowed nowadays is'nt it I'm thinking maybe it's time we had a revolution in this country, get rid of the bloody lot of them and start all over again, the mess the present lot have got this country into is a bloody disgrace, vulnerable people losing their benefits, terminally ill people being declared fit for work (and from what I've heard, even people who have actually died have been told the same thing) and as for the state of the NHS, all I can say is that Nye Bevan must be turning in his grave

Hope Pauline will be feeling better soon, it must be difficult for her living there with no transport and the bus service getting worse all the time. I remember when we first lived near Kilgetty there were more buses, the missis was able to go on shopping trips to lots of nearby towns, but even before we moved away they started cutting them down and some of the late ones disappeared completely. It's a real shame that she never learned to drive. It would be nice for her if she could get around more easily.

Oh well, time for my visit to facebook now. Thanks for this weeks treats. Hope you stay dry on your trip to Yeovil and see you next week

Hi Larry. As you saw there, a message from Pauline got nowhere. Hope she's OK.
Funny weather today, cloudy, misty, but boiling hot. Yesterday reminded me of my time in the Far East during WW2. A bit worrying isn't it. What if the temperature keeps increasing as the years go by, life could be disastrous. What a funny world we're in these days eh! Now the USA are in a conflict with Iran, and if it got worse goodness knows what would develop.
Glad you had a good birthday pal, I can imagine the youngsters and their Mum spoiling their Dad. Well, go get the bag, so that I can spoil them. Here goes, Blwwwwmp, it's a Guinness again as usual (the good old Irish) Fllllop...4 Teasers, and a pack of After Eights. Hope you caught them all.
Take care pal, hope the old Rover keeps plodding along.
See you next Sunday.

Afternoon Fussy Oh I see what you mean about Pauline's post, it's a bit mysterious is'nt it Maybe it's a puzzle and we're supposed to guss what she was going to say If it is I do'nt think I'm going to have much luck figuring it out, one letter is'nt much of a clue Hope she's ok though and that her computer's not playing up again.

I really do'nt know what to make of this weather, in the past few weeks we've had all four seasons and sometimes even on the same day.Yesterday was hot, but I thunk Friday was even hotter. Today's a bit mixed, it's been mostly cloudy, but there are some patches of blue sky here and there and he sun keeps trying to pop through now and then but then a cloud blows across and hides it again There's quite a cool breeze with it too, but not as windy as Friday night, there was a really strong blow then, it was really rattling at the windows when we were in bed.

I don't know very much about politics, but I'm definately hoping that Trump will be voted out in the next election over there, if he's left in charge for much longer I really believe that the world could be heading for a major disaster, and if we end up with world war 3, with all the nuclear weapons that are around today I do'nt think that anyof us are likely to survive it

Well time to visit facebook now I think. Thanks for the treats, thave a good week and hopefully see you again next Sunday

Hi Larry. Lovely sunny day here in Swansea today, I can spend a little time in our front garden this afternoon and watch the birds scoffing the suet blocks and seeds that Liz keeps putting up for them. Liz makes sure they have a rip-roaring time by stocking up each day.
Hells bells, doesn't the time fly these days, it will be Autumn before you can wink, and not only the youngsters will be preparing and planning the Xmas 'buys'.
We've got the RAF boys here today, flying around the Mumbles area and other parts of Swansea, so there'll be crowds there to watch the display. Yeah, Pauline is having a hell of a lot of trouble with her various electrics and it must be a b****y menace to have so many problems with the technical kits, and she often has troubles with the boiler and God knows what else, bless her!
What a funny old world eh Larry. Still damn murders in the London areas, and also here in our country. I read in the paper yesterday that Boris promises to add 20,000 police to the London area if he wins the 'seat'. Right then, go get it. Here goes Blllwmf it's a Guinness, as usual. 4 Teasers Flllllwmp, and a Ferrero Rocher, shhhhmishhh. Hope you caught the lot.
Take care pal, hope the Rover keeps kicking it's way.
Hope to see you next Sunday. Hope you are all well.

Afternoon Fussy, weather's not bad here today. looks as if the birds around your way are being well fed, I expect they spres the word around to their friends recommndng Fussy and Liz's cafe I just hope they do'nt repay Liz by leaving little messages on her washing lne

Wonder where Boris is planning to find the money to pay all these extra policemem when according to the tories they ca'nt even afford to pay benefits and old age pensions? I would'nt trust anything that fat fool says any further than I could throw him, not to mention that he's in favour of fox hunting, even if I agreed with him on anything else(which I do'nt) I could never vote for anybody that agrees with ripping defenceless animals apart

Wish we still lived near Kilgetty, if I was closer I could help Pauline out with some of her problems. But ooh Fussy, you mentioned the dreaded A word up there, that's gong to upset her even more

Better pop over to facebook now before making my way home. Many thanks for the treats, take care of yourself until next week

Hi Larry. Another nice day here today, hope it keeps like this and have a decent Autumn (sorry Pauline)
Well, I'm lucky to be here today to drop you these few lines pal. I had a fall last Monday on the concrete path alongside our little front garden, and it caused a nasty little pain to the rib section on my right hand side, it was quite painful, so Liz insisted that we took a trip to Morriston A and E yesterday for a check-up. Had an X-ray and check up by a couple of doctors. Both doctors failed to find any serious breakages, so I raised my hands to the sky, and thanked God. It still is a bit painful, and I was given some tablets to take every two or three hours. It will take some time to be painfree, so Ave Maria!!!
So I will cut this chat to a shortie today. Go get the bag. Here goes again,...Blllwmp, it's a Guinness pal, as usual. Now for 4 Teasers...Ffflllip, and a pack of After Eights. Hope you caught the lot pal.
Take care, and hope the Lamb family are all in good health.
Hope to get in touch again next Sunday. I'm off to take a tablet now.

Good afternoon Fussy, yes it's a lovely day here today too, hope it lasts for a while, this has been a very strange year weather wise, hot Summery days in February and March, but the actual Summer's been a bit of a wash-out,.

So sorry to hear about your accident Thank goodness it was'nt any worse like a broken arm or leg or a hip, but painful just the same. Hope it feels better soon.

There seems to be a lot of mention on TV now about the 50th anniversarry of the first moon landing, I do'nt remember that I was'nt even born at the time, but they do'nt really seem to have made that much progress in the 50 years that have passed since then do they. I do'nt see the point of it myself, it seems to me that all those millions spent on stuff like that could be put to better use right here on earth.

Oh well, time to pay my respects to facebook now I suppose. Thank you for the treats, I managed to catch them all without dropping any Hope your hand is better soon, take care of yourself and do'nt go having any more falls, and all being well I'll be back next week

Hi Larry. Not a bad day here today, sunny off and on, but not as much rain as was warned for Friday and Saturday.
This might be a shortie pal, I'm expecting a visit from one of my grandsons and his young girlfriend, both work in Birmingham, so if I get a yell from Liz, I'll know they've arrived.
Saw another advert from RSPCA this morning and after seeing all the cruelty and ill treatment to thousands of defenceless animals, I would without second thoughts punish the b------s with the death penalty. The sickening thing about it all is the frightened look in the eyes of the poor souls. It is so upsetting, innit Larry.
Time flies pal, we are now over half way to Christmas.
What a crazy world it is at the moment, now the perishing Islams are throwing their weight around, and harbouring two of our ships in their harbour section, illegally.
Well, no call from Liz, so go get your bag. Here goes, Bbblwwmp, it's a Guinness agail. Ffflimmp, it's 4 Teasers, and Yabba dabba doo, it's a large Ferrero Rocher, for you know who.
Well at least, I was able to drop you a few lines anyway pal, better than b----r all, innit pal
See you next Sunday, I hope.

How do Fussy, I'm a bit late this week as you can see, had a small crisis earlier today, nothing serious but it held me up for a bit, but never mind, I'm here now and that's what matters

Yea the weather was quite nice here earlier, but it's looking very grey and miserable at the moment, judging by the grey clouds I would'nt be surprised if we have more rain soon It has'nt been the greatest Summer this year has it, been a funny sort of year altogether, those hot days early in the year when some years we've had snow and ice, then we've days in June and July when it felt more like Winter

Those RSPCA adverts are really upsetting are'nt they, I come in some days and find the missis crying her eyes out and I think she's been watching some sad programme, but it's because of some poor animal she's seen in one of those TV adverts for the RSPCA or the Brooke. Sometimes I feel ashamed to be part of this so-called 'Human' race, I think most animals have got more humanity than most people

It's a bit depressing to think that we're already closer to next Christmas than last one is'nt it It's not that I do'nt like Christmas, I enjoy all the decorations and the carols and stuff, but it can get a bit expensive. Shame we could'nt just have it every two years to give us a chance to save up

Better pop over and see what's been happening on facebook now I suppose, and then head off home for my supper before goinf to bed, no matter what I still have to be up at the crack of dawn every morning. Thanks for this weeks treats, hope you had a nice visit with your grandson, take care until next week.

Hi Larry. Another scorcher here again today, hope it doesn't get as hot as it did last Thursday. It was so hot I thought I was in Rangoon again ( Myanmar now)
Well Boris has moved home to No10. What next I wonder. Twenty thousand more cops,...have you thought about joining the cops pal? Anyway it certainly will prevent a number of crimes being committed by these yobs roaming the streets of our country. I wonder to what degree the killings would lessen if the punishment would be the death penalty. I'm dead sure there would be less killings, that's for sure.
I see that Pauline is having her ups and downs these days. She has lots of problems with electronics, and household hot water problems. I wish I could have met her some years ago, to have taught her to drive, then she would been living in a different world being able to go to wherever for help when necessary.
Right then pal, go get the bag. Here goes, Blwmmmp, it's Guinness as usual. Plloop, 4 Teasers for the 'bosses,'and Bleeep, a small Ferrero Rocher for your 'better half', so no putting on weight guaranteed.
Take care pal, hope the Rover keeps kicking it's way.
See you next Sunday, if I'M still kicking.

How do Fussy, yea the weather has definately hotted up these past few days and Thursday was a real scorcher, it was too hot to be outside at all let alone working, it was a relief every time I had to go inside a barn or a shed for a few minutes.I even gave myself a few splashes of water from the cattle troughs, I felt like climbing right in and soaking myself in the cold water but I did'nt think the missis would appreciate it if I went home dripping wet

Well much as I disliked mrs May and her lot I ca'nt say that I'm over the moon to have barmy Boris instead, the man's a clown, and I would never bein favour of anybody who supports fox hunting no mater what party they belonged to I think what we need in this country is not so much an election as a revolution.

It's a shame that Pauline never learned to drive, it would make such a difference to her, especially now that they cut off so many buses in her area. I suppose she would have a better bus service if she moved nearer to a town, but she's like me, ca'nt bear to be stuck in a street surrounded by doxens of other houses and prefers to be out in the countryside.

Oh well, time to pay my respects to facebook now thanks for the goodies, take care and all being well see you next week if we have'nt melted

Hi Larry. Warm and a bit windy and dull looking here today, with rain off and on. Still, thank the lord we are not almost drowned like those poor people in the Derbyshire area, must be terrifying that some of them are not sure as to whether they will loose their homes or not. The world is a b....y mess innit, just heard on TV that 20 people have been killed in El Paso in USA and many more injured.
Looking at my map of the world here on my table it's a job to find a killing free area,...the only two countries I've not heard about killings is Norway and Sweden.
Our Pauline is battling on with little setups here and there, but she's steadfast Larry. She has her little problems now and again, but she is level headed and she has a top brainbox, also spoiled by the two 'bosses'.
Right then, go get it. It's Blwmmp, a Guinness again as usual, and 4 Teasers for the 'bosses'. And a small Ferrero Rocher for...you know who. Hope you caught the lot.
Take care pal, keep strolling along in the Rover. Hope we both hit the 50 and 100 for a big smile on our faces.

Afternoon Fussy, been a bit of a funny day here too, it was b*****y awful this morning but perked up in the early afternoon and the sun came out, then it went grey and overcast for a while, but at the moment the sun's shining again. One thing you can say about the British weather anyway, it's never boring

Yes things are looking bad up in Derbyshire, I'm always nervous about those dams, they're holding back a hell of lot of water and if they give way there's not alot that you can do about it, water is almost impossible to stop. It doesn't help that they've been having so much rain up there, hard to believe that it's been so wet there when we've seen very little rain in this part of the country. I'm glad there aren't any huge dams around here, I guess the nearest would be the Elan valley, but they're far enough away that I do'nt think they're a threat.

When I see the news I'm always glad that I do'nt live in America, so many of these mass shootings, I'd be terrified to ever leave the house or let my kids go to school. I just wonder what makes them do these things, you hardly ever heard of these things years ago, now there seems to be one on the news every few days. Is it something in the water, or all these chemicals in the food nowadays ? Maybe all the junk food they eat over there - not to mention the size of the portions they serve, it's bound to have some effect.

It's a shame that Pauline hasn't got any friends or relatives living nearer to her, it would make her life easier if she had somebody to give her a hand now and then or give her a lift to the shops. If only I lived closer I could pop in now and then.

Oh well, better pop into facebook now, thank you for the goodies, look after yourself and all being well see you next week

Hi Larry. What a change of weather eh! Strong winds and pouring rain. Must have been hell on earth for those poor people in the Derbyshire area and further north who have had to leave their homes, and all those poor animals left to suffer loss of keep, and food.
Well, the Football season started yesterday,...big wages for kicking a bag of wind around for a few hours, some get £300,000 for that, and some get even more than that
Well, doesn't time fly, for the likes of Liz and me, we find last Sunday seems to have been just 4 days ago, I think it must be due to the likes of us, watching so much TV, seems 24 hours fly by. By the way, there's a TV programme called Animal Rescue with Supervet at 8 o'clock each night starting tomorrow night, on Channel 4.
Hope Pauline is feeling a bit better after her recent ups and downs.
Right, go get the bag. Here goes Blootch, it's the Guinness pal. Flippety Flop, 4 Teasers, and Grrrringe, a packet of Turkish Delight. Hope you caught the lot.
Take care pal, hope to see you again next Sunday.

G’day Fussy Yea the weather’s been very wintery on and off this past week, we’ve seen some sunshine but quite a lot of rain, even heard some thunder a few nights ago, but I think it’s the wind that’s been the worse, lot of tree branches down all over the place. If it was’nt for my fleece being so waterlogged feom the rain the wind would have blown me away

Yes the money paid to footballers is bloody ridiculous, not to mention the millions that get paid for them to transfer clubs. It’s not as if they were doing anything to earn all that money, it’s only a game for god’s sake, far better if all that money went to people who are doing something worthwhile, such as helping the homeless, or investing it in the NHS or rescuing abused animals. Same thing with these pop stars who rake in millions for making what just sounds to me like a bloody horrible noise.

Oh well, better sign off now and fo and see what’s going on over on facebook, that’s if I can sign in, it took me a few tries to sign in here today, the computer’s a bit jumpy, the boss here says it’s the weather affecting the wifi or something. Anyway, thank you for this weeks goodies and take care of yourself until next week

Hi Larry. Still funny weather, sunshine one minute and rain the next and windy off and on. I don't think we will get any more heat like the one we had some weeks ago, heat that reminded me of the type in the Far East.
Well, the hideous life that some people have to put up with in this country is downright b----y heart breaking innit Larry. Those morons who killed the Police Officer was so heart breaking for his poor wife and the whole families as well, and some other POs as well in the past few years. As I've said so many times before, the punishment must be much more severe for these life taking criminals, and the unbelievable morons who illtreat and cause the suffering of defenceless animals.
Yes, you are right pal, the unbelieveable amount of money paid to footballers, and those pop stars who rake in a lifetime fortune for howling a horrible noise is so crazy.
Pauline is still having damn problems with electronics and household snags. Hope Tom sorted out the water leaks to the ceilings.
Well that's it then pal. Go get the bag. Here goes Ummmph, the usual one for you. Now, 4 Teasers for the 'bosses', and Rrrrrbb, a carton of After Eights for your better-half.
Take care pal, see you next Sunday if all goes well.

Hi Fussy Oo I had a bitof a scare for a moment there trying to sign in I thought the site had gone off me, it kept rfusing my password, had to retry it three times before it finally worked, but as you can see I got here in the end

Yea I think we've seen the last of those hot days for this year, although you never know for sure, many years I can remember we've had some really hot weather in October, and even December has'nt been all that cold some years. This year we even had a couple of days in February when it was as hot as some days in July, so who knows, this year we might even have a mini heatwave over Christmas

I read recently that the average Manchester City player is paid around £117,200 A WEEK I would'nt mind making that much in a flaming YEAR As it is I think it would take me something closer to ten years to earn that amount. Maybe I should have gone for a career in football instead of farmwork. The only problem with that would have been that I'm about as good at playing football as an elephant would be at ballet dancing

Oh dear, has Pauline had a leak in the ceiling ? I'd better pop over to facebook now and see what's been going on, I was rushed last week and barely glanced in there so I've got some catching upto do.

Thanks for tis week's treats Fussy, take care and see you next week if I do'nt het blown away before then

Yippee ! I went the right way, so it should be alright now — at least until the next time it goes wrong anyway So I’m off to make a nice pot of tea now - unless the kettle’s conked out that is. It wouldn’t surprise me if it had, it seems to be one thing after another going wrong here these days

Hi Pauline. Well....what next. I am b----y livid with that lousy moron who spoke about you in a disgraceful way on Facebook a week or so ago.
I felt like replying to the b------d, but thought it best not to cause further vile messages from the wicked sod.
Hope the roof problem was solved by Tom. B----y hell, you've had endless problems in recent months with various electronics in your household. Thank goodness you've got the two 'beauties' to take some of the load of your mind. Take care.

Hi Larry. Lovely day here today, warm and sunny. Hope it's the same with you in your hideaway.
Well, as you can see above, I dropped a few lies to Pauline, and mentioned that b----y vile b-----d who belittled her on Facebook a week or so ago. I'm glad that I didn't answer the sod as it might have increased the b-----d to keep on making indecent comments about a lady whom he had no idea of her decency in life.
Sorry this is a shorty today pal. We've got visitors, who arrived about an hour ago, so as usual go get the bag. OK, here goes Blwwtch, it's the usual pal. And 4 Teasers for the 'bosses'. And a small Fererro Rocher.
Take care pal. See you next Sunday.

How do Fussy, yea not a bad here day today either

When you see some of the stuff on facebook it really makes you wonder what the hell is wrong with people these days, I'm only there for a short time every Sunday but some of the posts I see even in my brief visits are shocking, Makes me quite glad that I do'nt use it more often really because if I was seeing that sort of stuff every day I think I'd start feeling very bloody angry and also very depressed. I've actualy reported a couple of posts to facebook in the past but I do'nt know if it did any good

Glad Pauline got her leak fixed, everything seems to ge going wrong for her lately. Wish I lived nearer to her and had more spare time so that I could give her a hand now and then.

Oh well, better pop over to facebook and see what's been going on since last Sunday, hopefully there wo'nt be too many posts about animal abuse or too many horrible morons insulting people Thank you for a the goodies, have a nice time with your visitors and I'll seeyou next week

So, my unfavourite month has finally arrived I’ve set out to post something on here a dozen or more times but something always seems to distract me. But here I am at a10 past 6.00 in the morning after another sleepless night so I thought I’d pop in at last.

Been a funny sort of week here, I went out to help search for a lost dog from Saundersfoot who’d been spotted near Stepaside, walked for about two and a half hours and didn’t see a sign of him but the very next morning he was found just 400 yards from my house, I should have looked in the opposite direction

I also tripped over while opening my bedroom window in the dark and my face now looks as if I lost a boxing match My laptop and my phone are both still playing up and everything else seems to be going wrong as well, but apart from that everything is just great

Anyway, I’m going back to bed now, who knows, I might even get some sleep. I’ll try and pop in again soon if I survive

PS. It wasn’t Tom who repaired my roof, it was Tommy (all these T names get confusing)

Hi Larry. Slight change in the weather here, cool wet and sunny changes now and again. Hasn't the Autumn popped up rather suddenly (sorry Pauline). Nice to hear from her again, I dropped her an e-mail last week to remind her of that moron who insulted her on Facebook a few weeks ago. She's had enough problems on her computer, phone and goodness knows what else, especially the odd household let-downs, and that damn roof let in the water in the ceilins. Good job she had Tom to do the repair.
Well, still terrible suffering for the poor animals around the world pal. That Amazon fire is absolutely terrifying and the loss of those poor creatures is just heartbreaking. And it's sad to learn of the ill treatment of animals here in Wales.
Well, that's it for today pal. Go get your bag. It's a Guinness as usual. And 4 Teasers for the 'bosses', and a small Ferrero Rocher for
your better-half.
Take care pal. See you next Sunday. Hope you caught the 'goodies' in the bag.

Well hello Fussy and hello Pauline, lovely to see you back here again Sorry to hear your still not sleeping well though, and very sorry about your accident, hope you'll be feeling better soon. Whose was the dog that was lost ? Does he belong to someone you know ? Very glad that he's been found anyway

Yea, that fire in the Amazon is looking pretty bad is'nt it, and from what I hear it seems itmight be deliberate and the government over there are'nt doing alot about it.If all those trees go I do'nt think the world is going to last very long

All the stories of animal cruelty are horrifying too, not to omention the illegal hunting. I know that I work in farming but I like foxes and I've got nothing against them, none of the paces where I've worked over the years have ever had any rea problems with them, I think that these hunting types make a lot of it up to give themselves an excuse to go on their killing sprees.

Oh well, time to visit facebook now I suppose, Thanks for the goodies Fussy, hope to see you on here more often Pauline. Take care both of you and see younext week

Well you might not be hearing from me often in the future. Just had an enforcement order that says I've got until the 13th of this month to pay the £1,000 council tax bill which I should NEVER have got in the first place. So unless I pay up -- which I would seriously resent doing -- I might end up in jail soon God how I HATE this bloody government.

Hi Larry. Sunny here today, but I can detect a certain amount of cold in the air,...won't be long now before time for long john's and pullovers. Hope Pauline will be able to sort things out.
Well, what a catastrophe in the Bahamas innit. The whole place is smashed to smithereens. What a hell of a loss of practically every household and belongings, and not forgetting the poor animals. I saw just one dog in the TV programme on the loss of animal life. Must feel like hell upon earth.
Liz just had an attack of about 40 sparrows to her supply of suet blocks yesterday. They ate a full block in about 4 hours, and also emptied a large batch of seeds as well. We haven't had so many sparrows as that for a couple of years.
Right then, go get your bag. Here goes...Blwbbbs, it's a Guinness as usual pal. Now for 4 Teasers,...Gggglish fopr the 4 'bosses'. And a small Ferrero Rocher for..you know who.
Take care pal, hope the Rover still keeps rolling along.
See you next Sunday.

Afternoon Fussy Ca'nt say the weather's been all that great here today, the sun's popped out now and then but not all that often, and it's definitely not been very warm, we had nice weather back in February

Still, as you say it's nothing compared with what they're having to put up within the Bahamas, and parts of the US too. I've heard that the tail end of it will probably be hitting the East coast of Canada too, but hopefully it will blow itself out before it reaches our shores.

I do'nt know how people can bear to live in the sort of places where they get these kind of storms almost regularly. Hurricanes, typhoons, tornadoes, tsunamis, not to mention massive earthquakes. I suppose that if they were born in those places it's home to them and they probably have'nt got any choice in the matter, or the money to live anywhere else, but if it was me I'd be out of there as fast as my legs would carry me.

Sounds as if the birds are doing well at your place, they're eating better than me, Lol We see all sorts around here, including birds of prey, which are beautiful in theirway, but my better half doesn't like them much, she shoos them off if she sees them eyeing up the small birdson her bird table

Time to pay my weekly visit to facebook now I suppose, some of the stuff I see on there is a laugh, but there are too many horrific stories about animal abuse and other nastiness that sometimes make me want to go out and shoot the people resposible.

Anyway, thanks for the treats m8, take care and see you next week.

Hi Larry. Weather not too bad here today, feel a bit colder but still enjoyable, is likely to change any minute these days though.
Well, this ForumCo seems to work OK these days, so we can at least keep in touch now, better than it was a couple of months ago,...(Our thanks to Pauline for providing it.)
Well, Liz is thrilled to bits for the invasion of Sparrows, about 40 of them seem to empty the seed folder in a day, and they eat almost a whole suet piece a day as well, so she has to buy about half a dozen suets per week. But we are both chuffed that we are able to fill their bellies.
Pauline still having her 'ups and downs' with various snags here and there. As you say, if you lived near her in that area you probably would be able to help her with various odds and ends.
Right then, go get the bag. Here goes, Bllitch, it's a Guinness as usual. And 4 Teasers, Fffflop, for the 'bosses'. And here's a small Ferrero Rocher, Bllopp for your 'better half'.
Well, that's it for today pal, take care,... hope the old Rover keeps plodding along without snags.
See you next Sunday.

Hi Fussy, looks like your having better weather than us today, it's been dry here all day at least, but that's about all I can say for it, not much sign of the sun and just grey and miserable for most of the day The nights haven't been too bad though, the Harvest moon has been beautiful

I heard that this Ironman thing's going on down Tenby way this weekend, a mate of mine said his nephew was taking part, can't say I fancy being in that myself, it's too chilly for swimming at the moment and a 26 mile walk followed by a bike ride of over 100odd miles is too much for me in any weather

Those birds obviously know their on to a good thing there, with your Liz spoling them You want to watch out though or you might end up like that film The Birds Lol Nah, I ca;nt see that happening, they know who their friends are

Oh well better go and find out what's happening on facebook this week, see if Pauline's posted anymore photos of her girls, I really enjoy seeing all her photos Thanks for the treats Fussy and take care until next week

Oh sorry to hear that Fussy, hope it's nothing too serious and that he'll be able to fix it for you soon -- and not charge you too much for it either

Ooh did you have that storm last night ? We had some pretty noisy thunder and ightening, not to mention torrential tain We weren't affected too badly here as the farm where I work has it's own emergency generators, but I've heard today that some areas suffered from power cuts that were worse in some places than others. Today's quite different, we've even seen some blue skies and sunshine, hard to believe that last night really happened.

Hey Bob, did those photos really look like your maa-in-law Nice to hear from you again anyway, I was starting to think you'd fallen into a vat of beer and drowned

Well I ca'nt think of much else to say now so I suppose I'd better go and see whats been happening on facebook. Hope your computer can be fixed in time for you to get back here next Sunday Fussy.

Hi Larry. Sorry about having to miss dropping you a line last Sunday. My 'puter was affected by a long update that messed up the blue screen. It was the normal blue colour on the right of the screen but the colour was a pale cream as it reached the left, so I couldn't read my 25 icons on the left. Anyway, it was sorted out and returned shortly after teatime. Never had that kind of fault after a update before, which took about 1 hour to enter.
Rotten weather here yesterday, raining most of the day and much cooler than before, not too good today either, raining off and on, so the Autumn is here, that's for sure. Sorry Pauline! And sorry that you are having so many 'ups and downs' in your lovely house. Thank goodness that you have lovely M and M, at least they'll keep you living a happy lifestyle.
Well Larry, what a 'carry-on' at our so-called government. What a load of argumentative idiots eh! They are like a load of stupid mindless lunatics. Right then, go get your bag. Here goes, Blwtch, it's a Guinness again, enjoy it. Now for 4 Teasers, Fliiiip. And a box of After Eights....Tipppppple. Hope you caught the lot.
Hope you are all well.
All the best pal. See you next Sunday.

Afternoon Fussy, glad you got your computer sorted out, I was worried that when I got here today I might have non=body to talk to again.

Yea the weather wasn't so great yesterday was it, a LITTLE drop of rain, Lol I hearsome parts of Wales had flooding, it was'nt too bad around here although there was a lot of water on some of the roads. Not too bad today, the sun's shining at the moment, though I do'nt expect that'll last much longer, it's starting to get dark earlier every day now It's dark every morning when I get up for work too, does'nt get light til I've been at it for an hour or two and that's flipping depressing.

If I said what I thought about this government Fussy I'd be arrested for it, I think the sooner we have another election and get rid of the lot of them the better Though to be honest I do'nt think that any of the other options are much better. Maybe we should copy the French and have a revolution (but not go quite so far as chopping all their heads off )

Oh well, better pop across to facebook now, I'm already running a bit late today so I'd better get it over with before heading off home, I stil have to get up at the same time every morning no matter what time I get to bed the night before

Thanks for the Guinness and all the chocs, take care Fussy and all being well I'll see you next week

Afternoon Fussy, ooh hope you'll be feeling better soon after your op, I did'nt know they did operations on a Sunday, well, if it was an emergency like a crash or some such I expect they would, but otherwise I thought they only did them on weekdays, They do work a lot quicker these days do'nt they, I remember my grandpa had a cataract operation when I was a youngster and I'm sure I remember that he had to stay in hospital for a lot longer than a day.

It's funny, I first signed in here just after 4.0 today and there was nothing from you so I was a bit worried, then one of my pals in here asked if he could use the computer for a bit as he wanted to send an inportant email, so I had a drink whilehe was doing that and when I signed in again your message was on here, I have to say it was a big relief

Weather's definately going downhill now, we had one very nice dayin the middle of the week, but since then it's rained every day and the nights have been freezing and the days are getting shorterall the time, this time of year it does'nt start to get light until about three hours after my alarm goes off, I did'nt mind it when I was a youngster but the older I get the more I start wishing I'd gone for a nice indoor job where I could stay in my cosy warm bed until 8.0 in the morning. But then, I'm not really an indoor type so I think I'd probably be bored stiff after the first week

Better pop over to facebook now I suppose. Hope you'll be fully recovered from your op by next Sunday. Take care Fussy and see younext week all being well

Hi Larry. Sunshine and showers here today, and certainly colder than it's been lately. Glad you clicked 'Chat' last Sunday to get my post to you, I clicked the wrong one to post by mistake. 'Silly me'.
Well time flies pal, only 66 days to Christmas.
By the way, we never heard from Bob since his birthday, perhaps he's loaded with Guinness after Guinness and is feeling a bit 'tipsy'
If I don't get on here next Sunday it will probably be due to a visit to the Sancta Maria for this Cataract treatment.
Hell's bells, this Brexit business is getting worse day by day, it's b....y sickening listening to the arguments on TV each day, they're all argumentative idiots.
Right then pal, go get the bag. Here goes Blllwmp, it's a Guinness, now for 4 Teasers, and a pack of After Eights. Hope you caught the lot.
Take care pal, sorry you find it cold in the early morning trip to work. Don't forget the long-johns.
Hope to see you next Sunday again. Hope you and family are all well and 'kicking'.

A very good afternoon to you Fussy yea, it's a bit mixed here too, the sun's shining at the moment and it looks nice when your sat inside looking out, but it's blooming cold when your outside

So, if your not here next Sunday I'll know why then, glad you mentioned it in advance so I wo'nt worry too much if your not here.Hope the treatment goes well. When my old grandpa had his cataracts done years ago he said it was amazing the difference it made, everything was so much clearer and brighter. He spoilt it a bit though when he said that he could now see all my grandmas wrinkles that he had'nt noticed before. When she heard him say that she clouted him and would'nt speak to him for days afterwards

Yes, this Brexit thing seems to have been going on for ever now does'nt it I thought that once we'd had the referendum we'd be out in a few months, I never expected it to be still going on three years later. I ca'nt see that it'll make much difference to me one way or the other, but I wish they'd get on with it once and for all because I'm getting fed up with hearing everybody banging on about it on the news every flipping day

Blimey, hard to realise it's only 66 days til Christmas now It seems like only a few weeks since I was putting the decorations away after the last one, I'm sure the years are getting shorter than they used to be

Time to visit facebook now then, thank you for all the treats, hope everything goes well and if your not here next Sunday I'll hopefully see you again the week after

Hi Larry. Well, one thing is for sure pal, the summer is gone. The last few days have been wet and windy, and today icy cold so it's time for longjohns. Winter is certainly on it's way.
Doesn't time fly, it doesn't seem 7 days since we last had a chat. Well, what a sickening, heart breaking killing of 39 people in that truck and hell's bells, how many more killings have been done through the transport of people attempting to get into the UK. It's sad to think that possibly many more have been murdered over the years.
I see that our Pauline is having her ups and downs with a variety of trips around her hideaway, and I hope she doesn't have more water leaks from the roof anymore. I hope she reads our little chats on here to learn that we care for her, even though we don't see her. Thank goodness she's got M and M, they look absolutely great company for her. Well, go get your bag. Here goes, Wwwmmff, it's a Guinness again, now for 4 Teasers, and Pppplwwwmp, it's a After Eights for your 'better half'. Hope you caught the lot.
Take care pal, see you next Sunday,...unless I get a sudden call for a Cataract job.

How do Fussy, yea I think Summer has definately gone for good, heavy rain and strong winds all through Friday and into yesterday and a lot of flooding in some places according to the news. At least it has'nt rained here since yesterday afternoon, but there's still a lot of water lying around an the ground and it's been perishing cold. I was hoping we might have a bit of an Indian Summer at the end of this month, we've had some lovely weather in October in past years but it does'nt look as of it's going to happen this year

Yea, Pauline does'nt seem to be having much luck lately with one thing and another, butI'm sure thather trip up to her favourite place a couple of weeks ago cheered her up a bit. I do'nt blame her for preferring North Pembs to the South, I like it better up that way too. If I won the lottery I think I'd buy myself a nice little farm somewhere in the Preselli hills with views across the Irish sea

Did you remember to put your clocks back last night It's got it's benefits at the moment because with the clocks going back it gets lighter a bit earlier in the mornings, so I do'nt have to work quite so long in the dark, the disadvantage is that it also gets dark earlier in the evenings so the youngsters do'nt have so much time for outdoor stuff after school, by the time the school bus has dropped them off and they've changed clothes and had their tea it's already getting dark, and there are'nt any street lights for miles around here, so when it's dark it's REALLY bloomin dark

O
Well time to visit facebook now, I’m a bit late this week so it's already getting pretty dark outside and with so much water on the roads I do'nt want to be driving home too fast, skidding in a big puddle and ending up in a ditch in the midde of nowhere Thanks for this weeks treats Fussy, see you next week allbeing well

Hi Larry. Well, I can tell you when my operation is due for pal. It's on Sunday the 17th...two weeks today. I think the whole treatment takes about four to six weeks.
Lousy weather today, cold and raining off and on, but it is expected to be better later on this week. Good grief, we didn't expect to have so many sparrows invading our little garden in such bad weather, they seem to settle in the hedge near where Liz sets the Suet block. She's chuffed she buys a 6 pack of suet every week, they eat 1 block each 2 days, and also eat the birdseed as well.
Well, our Pauline seems to be having a hilarious time these days pal.
Thank goodness she's got M and M to guide her around the Sardis and other Pemb's areas I wonder if she would really prefer to live in the Dinas area. She's always had a longing to settle there, I wonder if it would be easier for her to take Meg and Moll strolling around that area.
Well, time for the bag, pal. It's a Guinness as usual, and 4 Teasers for the 'bosses'. Also a Ferrero Rocher for your 'better half'. Hope you caught the lot, I dropped them all of a sudden today.
Take care pal, see you next Sunday

Hi Fussy, so I won’t be seeing you on the 17th then, and possibly for a couple of weeks after that, well at least now that I know I won’t be worrying when you’re not here. Hope the operation goes well for you, it’s a lot quicker nowadays that it was years ago.

Yea, the weather at the moment is really terrible, I was driving through a lot of very big puddles on my way down here today. At times like this I’m glad I haven’t got one of those flashy sports cars, they’re so low on the ground that I’d end up with a wet backside if I tried driving through flood water in one of those, at least in my old bomb I’m sitting high up enough to avoid that

I’m surprised there are still any birds left in this weather, it’s a miracle that they haven’t all drowned or been blown across to some foreign country I heard some time ago that the sparrow population was on the decline, but I haven’t seen much sign of that myself. It’s sad to see that the French are eating some of the small migratory birds though It beats me why they do it, apart from the fact that those little birds give many people a lot of pleasure watching them, there ca’nt even be that much meat on them, by the time you get rid of the bones probably you’d need to eat a few dozen of them to even half fill you up I never was keen of the flipping French

Better pop over to facebook now I suppose, it’s getting dark now and it’s harder to drive through the puddles when you can’t see them and if it keeps raining I might end up swimming home Thanks for all the treats and look after yourself til next week

Hi Larry. Oooooh! It's hellish hot today, time for Longjohns. scarves and gloves, especially for the likes of me...97. Ho! Ho!
Just been watching Remembrance Sunday on BBC, god job it was dry and sunny, it would have been dreadful if it had poured with rain, thousands would have been soaked to the skin.
As I said last Sunday, I'm going for the operation op' next Sunday, and I'm not sure if I will be able to chat with you on the following few Sundays after the op'. Anyway, I'll do my best to get on here each Sunday. Got to be a shortie today.
Go get your bag. Here goes a Guinness, 4 Teasers and a small Ferrero Rocher. My daughter and her husband have just arrived, they just shouted up the stairs to let me know they're here.
Take care pal, I'll get in touch again as soon as I can.

How do Fussy I think you meant to say it’s hellish cold today, if it was hot you definately would’nt need the long johns #128521;#128518; Your right though, it has turned a lot colder this past week, the weather forecasts have said that it’s going to be a cold Winter this year and I heard that they’ve already had some snow in parts, so who knows, maybe we might even get a white Christmas this year Yes, nice it stayed dry for remembrance day at least.

Did you have a bonfire and fireworks for Guy Fawkes Night Fussy ? Only joking #128513; We didn’t have one ourselves, too much flammable stuff around for bonfires and the fireworks would frighten the animals, so we drove to a public firework display a few miles away. I like seeing the fireworks, but they seem to get noisier every year, I’m sure the ones we had when I was a kid weren’t as loud as the ones they have these days

Well time to visit facebook now and hopefully get home before it gets too dark. Thank you for my treats. Good luck with your op next week and hopefully we’ll be seeing tou back here in the not too distant future

Well good afternoon to you Bob my old mate, nice to hear from you again at last With Fussy in for his op I thought I'd be talking to myself this week, so I'm glad to find somebody else here for me to reply to and save me from that

Yea we had some snow around our way too but it disappeared the next day. Still blooming cold though, so I would'nt be surprised if we had anoter fall of it soon, the weather forecasts seem to think we're in for a very cold WInter this year. Mind you, they're hardly ever right, but judging by the weather recently I would'nt be surprised if tey;re right this time (well by the law of averages they've got to be right some of the time have'nt they )

Oh well better pay my duty visit to facebook now I suppose. Hope to see you on here a bit more often Bob and hopefully will be back again soon as well

Hi Larry. Yabba Dabba Doo! I made it pal, I'm here alive and kicking, after an amazing job by an expert group of lovely people in the Sancta Maria hospital. When I got there at 8.30 in the morning there were about ten other men and women, sat waiting for the 'kick off'. They were all in their 60s 70s, when the nurse came to set me up the paper work for the op' she shouted to all in the waiting room....you are all 'Spring Chickens', John here is 97. They all laughed their heads off, and didn't believe it.
Anyway, I had the op' at about mid day, which took about 20 minutes, and was a success, according to the technician. Now Liz has to drop a liquid
into my left eye 4 times a day, which ends today, then 3 times a day next week, and 2 drops a day next week, and 1 drop a day for the 4th week, totals about 70 in all.
Anyway, my thanks to you Bob for your good wishes. I expect you enjoyed the snowfall in good old Aberdare last week.
And thanks to you Larry for nipping in here last Sunday.
I shall pop in here again next week.
Here goes pal, the Goodies, hope you caught the lot.

Wahey Fussy, so pleased that your back, I was'nt expecting to hear from you for another week or so yet Glad that your operation went well, I'm not surprised those other patients did'nt believe you were 97, I find it hard to remember it myself some times, I do'nt think there are all that many people of your age who use the internet and do the things that you do, your a flipping marvel, I just hope I'm still as bright as you when I get to your age (if I ever manage it at all )

The weather still does'nt seem to be able to make up it's mind, on Thursday and into Friday it poured with rain and the wind was very bad, but it calmed down over time on Friday, yesterday was'nt too bad, not all that cold considering it's the end of November, we even saw a bit of sunshine, today it's raining again and much chillier, it seems to change every other day.

Well better pay a visit to facebook now I suppose, I'm running a bit late again this week so I'd better not hang about too long. Thanks for the goodies Fussy, very pleased for you that the op was problem free and all being well I'll talk to you again next week

Hi Larry. So sorry to have failed to get in touch with you last week. My computer had a fault and the firm I bought it from failed to sort out the problem until last Tuesday.
Well, would you believe it,...my cataract operation is on it's 4th and last week tomorrow. Liz will be dropping 1 drop each day, by the end of the week, a total of 70 drops in 4 weeks, and it's been absolutely great. Well, what a hell of a life on London bridge again eh! It doesn't seem to end.
The weather is pretty bad these days, and I bet you feel the damn cold more so in the early morning eh! Well, our Pauline is having a hilarious time isn't she, how the hell she manages to deal with all that happens I'll never know, thank goodness she's got Tom to sort out things. Well, that's about it for today pal, I may have to make a visit or two on Sundays in the near future. Right then, go get the bag. Here goes. It's a Guinness as usual. 4 Teasers for the 'gaffers', and a Fererro Rocher for your 'better half'.
Take care pal, see you next Sunday.

Hiya Fussy, well I did'nt know that you were missing last week because I was'nt here myself I had a stinking cold and a cough and was really rough for a few days and the missis told me that if I tried to go out in that weather she would whack me over the head with a frying pan she's a very determined woman with a strong arm, so I thought it would be a lot safer for me to do as I was told

Glad your post-op cataract treatment is going well, you'll be able to see like a cat by the time it's finished My own eyesight's not what it once was, well either that or the print in newspapers is getting smaller these days

Yes, things are not going well in London these days are they. When I first caught part of the news I thought they were talking about the previous incident, I was shocked when I realised that it was a new stabbing incident. I do'nt know what the hell the world is coming to these days, it makes me glad that I live in a rural area nowhere near any big cities. Mind you, you do find the odd nutcase living in the countryside too, but the houses are very few and far between so you can usually ignore the weird neighbours

Last thing I saw from Pauline on facebook was two weeks ago when Tommy and Tom were just starting to get her bathroom done, hopefully it'll be finished by now. I bet she's happy to get it done at last, I know she's been complaining about it for ages.

Oh well, time to visit facebook now. Thankyou for this weeks goodies, Take care of yourself and I'll see you next week (barring blizzards, floods or another lousy cold )

Flipping heck I just thought I'd read over my post incase of mistakes and I noticed that the time on my post says 3.04 PM I have'nt checked the clock but I'm sure it must be nearer 5.00 than 3.00. Looks as if the site's gone bonkers again, time for Pauline to come and sort it out. I'll mention it to her on facebook now.

OK, time is sorted now I don't know why it should go wrong in December, it usually only happens when the clocks go forward or backward. Hopefully it won't have another funny moment now until next March Can't stop at the moment as I've got to go and do something, but I'll try to get back here soon.
