Hi Larry. Ooooh!, the weather here is icy cold and windy, with flashes of rain, hope it gets better for Christmas later on.
Anyway, no matter the weather, Boris is happy that his little dog has got a posh home in No10 I never expected the Tories would have had such a big victory.
We'll, I had my last drop of special stuff in my left eye this morning, it was the 70th drop that Liz popped in to my eye in 4 weeks, to complete the job, and the clarity of my vision is absolutely spot-on. I go to Specsavers tomorrow for a checkup, and a new pair of glasses, if necessary.
Glad that Pauline's got a new bathroom, and it looks good. Thank goodness she's got Tom and his mate to help her with her many problems. And they can take her on many little trips here and there. It would be so-so-so b----y awkward for her to get here and there without their help.
Hope you are coping with this damn cold weather in the early morning pal, you must feel shivery.
Right then, go get the bag. It's a Guinness as usual, and 4 Teasers. And a pack of After Eights. Hope you caught the lot.
Take care pal, hope the old Rover keeps plodding along. Oh, before I go, isn't the b----y crimes that seem to increase as time goes on, a sad state of life. Reading the daily paper yesterday,...was nothing but stabbings and killings in most pages of the paper.

See you next Sunday, I hope.

Hi Larry. Would you believe it! I just posted you about 20 lines, and when I checked to see it was posted the damn thing didn't show up.

I clicked 2 on the little square on the bottom left and it came on at the top of the screen.
I hope you got it.

Hi Larry. Something is wrong. I posted you about 20 lines this afternoon, and it doesn't seem to have gone through to you, so there's a fault either with my computer or the Forum.
I wonder if Pauline's reply about the time has something to do with it.

Hi Fussy, well I can see your message now m8, so I think the problem was just that we've gone from page 1 to page 2 now I'm having a bit of a problem myself at the moment though, I've logged in to the site three times and started to post a message, but then I've suddenly found myself logged out again, it seems to be staying longer this time but I'll try to type fast just incase it happens again

It's a b****y awful day today, gale-force winds and the rain has been torrential almost all day, even had a few rumbles of thunder. Drove througha lot of water on the roads coming down here, hopefully it does'ntget any deeper or I might find myself havingto swim home

Yes,the photos of Pauline's bathroom look lovely,it's good that she's got it done at last, she'd been compaining about the state of it for ages.

Glad that things are going well after your op. Our eyesight is very precious, I think we take it for granted sometimes. I ca'nt even imagine what it would be like to never see the faces of our family and friends, never see beautiful scenery or know what colours and lights are. I do'nt think I could live with that.

I can't believe the tories got in again after all the complaints about them over the past few years and the bloody awful mess they've made of things including the benefits system. I'm not looking forward to being stuck with batty Boris for the next five years, I think his dog would probably be a better prime minister than him (If the dog ran for election against his owner I'd sooner vote for the dog any day)

Well next Sunday it'll be just three days to go til Christmas Day, ca'nt believe how this last year has flown. Hopefully I'll make it down here next week, but just incase the weather gets even worse, or the motor gets water-logged and packs upon me I'll wish you a Merry Christmas now. Thanks for this weeks treats and stay indoors out of the storms

How do Fussy, sorry to hear your computer's playing up again, hope you get it sorted out.

Well as you can see I managed to sneak down here today, but I promised my better half that I wouldn't stay too long because she's got a lot of jobs for me to do so I'd better do as she says otherwise I wo'nt be getting any Christmas dinner this year

It's looking very Christmassy on here now, I can see Pauline's been busy behind the scenes

Anyway, I haven't got much to say this week, so before I pay a flying visit to facebook Ijust want to say Merry Christmas to my friends on here Fussy, Bob and nybody else who may pop in, and a very big thank you to Pauline for keeping the site going for all these years. So have a lovely Christmas all of you and hopefully see you all next week(If I can still walk or get behind the steering wheel and drive after stuffing myself on Christmas food )

Hi Larry. Lousy weather this last week, but a bit better today with a bit of sunshine. Christmas day was a lovely day though, sunny all day. Well, as I said last week something has gone wrong to my normal posting on here. It seems to have happened when Pauline posted me to say that she had set the clock after you said that the time on the clock here was wrong. Ever since then there was a little section on the bottom left of her posting which had a number 1 and 2. When I clicked Post for my message to you I didn't get a message to say that my message was posted like it always has in the past, and I couldn't even see my typed message that I'd just typed to you. So the only way I could see my message was by double clicking No2, and it's been the same ever since. So I wonder if Pauline's reply to me about the clock time has something to do with this problem I'm having.?
I'll e-mail her today.
That's it for today pal, go get the bag. Here goes, Blllwp, a Guinness and 4 Teasers, and a full size Ferrero Rocher.
Here's wishing you and your lovely family a Very Happy New Year, anf God Bless you all.

Afternoon Fussy Yea Christmas day was lovely, lotsof sunshine mind you,I think the family were hoping for some snow, and to tell the truth I would'nt have minded a bit of it myself, not too much but just a sprinkling on the day would have been nice, just enough to have made it a White Christmas Been pretty bad ever since though, rain and wind and today's not been good here either, that bit of sun you had in Swansea must have missed us

I ca'nt see any problems on here at the moment Fussy, all your messages are visible. I think those numbers at the bottom are just page numbers, we were on page 1 before and now we're on page 2.

Oh well, I have'nt got much to say this week so time to popover to facebook now I think. Thank you for the Guinness, the Teasers and the Ferrero Rocher Take care of yourself and I'll see you again next year

Hi Larry. I'm pushed for time today, I've got a visit back to the eye checking department. Nothing wrong with my cataract op' it's super- duper, just a check with my new glasses.
Weather here is bitter cold and off and on rain. In case I forget, here's wishing you and your family a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR, with GOOD HEALTH throughout.
I'll see you next Sunday.
Take care pal.

Howdy Fussy Hope the check-up went ok.

Yea the weather's been pretty lousy here too, rain, wind, mist. it has'nt felt all that cold to me though, except when the wind was cutting through you, but other than that I thought it had been quite mild for the time of year Maybe it's just me, lugging bales of hay around, not to mention big sacks and all the other heavy stuff involved in working on a farm does tend to make you sweat a lot

Well the new year does'nt seem to be getting off to a very good start does it I heard on the news that there was a serious accident on the A48 here in Carmarthenshire early this morning and I've heard of quite a few other road accidents over the past few days. Then there are those terrible fires in Australia, so many lives lost and billions of animals, it's heart breaking. Hearing about things like that makes me glad that this country IS so wet, at least with all the rain we're too waterlogged to be in danger of catching fire.

Oh well, time to visit facebook now and see what's been going on. Happy New Year to you, Liz and all my other friends and see you next week all being well

Hi Larry. I've just struggled up Mount Everest not to disappoint you, but I'm feeling a bit on the low side today, so you'll know why this will be a shorty today.
Sunshine today, but still cold isn't it, I bet you feel icy cold in the early morning. Never mind, we don't have the horrible lifestyle like those poor people in other parts of the world. Our problems are the terrible deaths by various methods of killing, and the unbelievable cruelty to animals, and isn't the terrible fires in Australia heart breaking. It hurts my mind to hell listening to the reports of the loss of homes, and lives of people, and the poor defenceless animals. What a horrific killings. And that loss of 176 people in that horrible airplane killing in Iran.
Go get your bag pal. Here goes, it's a Guinness again, and 4 Teasers and a pack of After Eights. Hope you are all well at home.
Take care pal. See you next Sunday.

How do Fussy, sorry your not feeling so good today, hope you'll be better soon

Yea the weather's been better today, terriblewind and rain yesterday and through last night, I thought we were going to get blown into the next county, but it seems to have calmed down today, The nighst are starting to draw out again too, it was still quite light until about 10 mnutes ago, even now it's not completely dark and there were still birds singing just outside, so hopefully Spring will soon be here

It's heartbreaking to see any news from Australia at the moment, you can't even begin to imagine the scale of it, and the numbers of animals that have died is incomprehensible. And I heard yesterday that some of these fires were started deliberately, if that's true and they catch the b******s responsible I hope they feed them to the crocodiles

Damn, looks like I spoke too soon about the weather, somebody just came in here and saidit's started to rain again now

Oh well, better pop across to facebook then and get off home incase it gets as bad as it was last night, I do'nt want to be blown into a ditch on the way home Thanks for all the treats, hope you'll be feeling better soon and see you next week all being well

Oh dear, no Fussy this week, hope he's OK. Hopefully just been whisked away to visit some of his many relatives and that he'll be back next week

Had some nice sunshine here the past couple of days, but it has been COLD Heavy frost in the morning and quite a bit of ice. Still at least it's not raining at the moment which is a blessing, as long as you do'nt actually break any bones slipping on a patch of ice isn't as bad as being bogged down in knee-deep mud that sucks your wellies off your feet when you're struggking to get out of it (not to mention making a Lamb's fleece flipping heavy as well )

Oh well, since Fussy's not here and there's nobody else to talk to either at the moment I suppose I'd better pay my respects to facebook now. Hope you're OK Fussy and al being well seeyou back here next week.

Hi Larry. Sorry I missed chatting with you last week again, 'I was down in the dumps', as we used to say years ago. I'm dropping you a few lines tonight, because we've got a couple of carpenters coming tomorrow doing some interior work necessary for the fitting of a new Freezer which happens to be bigger than our previous one. It's quite a bit of a bigger job than normal, so they may be here till about 7 o'clock.
Ooooh! The weather is perishing cold isn't it and wet for the last three weeks. I haven't even stepped into our little garden, so Liz has been busy keeping the birds fed with Suet and seeds, about 40 sparrows every day scoff the lot, they really are well fed.
Well, it's a mad old world isn't it, now this Chinese killer virus is threatening most countries.
Go get the bag. Here goes, as usual it's a Guinness, and 4 Teasers. and a large Ferrero Rocher. Hope you caught the lot.
Take care pal, keep the old Rover plodding along.
Hope to see you again next Sunday.

Good evening Fussy, glad your back Well I am VERY late this week so I ca'nt stay long. Had to take the old motor in for it's MOT and it needed a couple of bits so I have'nt got it back yet.Thought I would'nt be able to get down here at all today but a mate offered me a lift, so here I am. He's got to be off soon though so I'm trying to type fast

We had some really freezing cold days in the middle of the week, but then we had some overnight rain and since then it has'nt been quite so cold. Miserable weather though, ca'nt wait for Spring.

Yes, this virus from China sounds scary and it seems to be spreading to other countries now. I've heard rumours that it might be caused by what they eat over there and if it is because they eat dogs and cats then I ca'nt help a sneaky feeling that maybe it's their own fault, but if they pass it on to other people and it spreads to other countries where they do'nt eat that sort of thing it is'nt so good.

Well I'd better go now, my mate is starting to look at the clock Thank you for all the treats and see you next week I hope.

Hi Larry. Still cold and wet weather here, the sun comes out for only minutes now and again, then disappears, but thank goodness we haven't had the dreadful floods that have been in other parts of our country. Well, what a deadly thing that Chinese coronavirus, that appears to have spread around other parts of the world causing thousands of deaths. Hope to God they can stop the thing from getting worse.
I am having further treatment in the next few weeks to the minor cataract in my right eye which is not absolutely necessary, but I'm advised to have it done so that my sight would be 100%. Honestly Larry, my sight is absolutely spot-on, even without having this last bit done. I see that our Pauline is still having the odd little upsets at her home, but thank God she's got Meg and Moll to bring a smile to her face, and to ease her lifestyle. Bless her! If only she could have learned to drive a car, things would have been totally different for her. Well, hope you and your lovely family are in good health and 'kicking'. Go get the bag. OK here goes, Bwwwff, it's a Guinness as usual, 4 Teasers for the 'bosses', and a small Ferrero Rocher for your 'boss', Ho! Ho!
Take care pal, see you next Sunday. If I'm not on here in the next few weeks you'll know that I'm making visits to the hospital, perhaps.

How do Fussy Well there seem to be a few problems with the site today, I've hadtosign in three times before it finally accepted me, hope I do'nt get logged out again beforeI finish typing this message

Yea, the weather's been pretty miserable most of the time lately, we've had the odd bit of sunshine but it does'nt last long and it's been cold especially at night.

The news reports about this coronavirus are very confusing, some are saying that millions have caught it and thousands have died but one reort that I read yesterday said that over 11,900 people are definitely known to be infected and only 259 have died, all of them in China. You just do'nt know who to believe. The same article aso said that around 600 people die in the UK every year from complications related to flu, when you put it likethat it does'nt seem that bad,but it's early days yet, so who knows which way things will go.

I think your going to have better eyesight than me soon Fussy, the older I get the smaller the print seems to be getting in the newspapers , and do'nt even mention the instructions on medicine bottles

Oh well, time to visit facebook now I guess. Thanks for the goodoes Fussy and see you next week all being well.

Hi Larry. I'm wondering if you'll be able to take the trip to see these few lines today pal. The weather here is icy cold pouring rain and stormy wind. If it's the same down your area I hope you'll stay at home rather than risk the trip.
I'm due to have a checking up of my right eye on Wednesday. It's a very minor cataract, so it might be done in a couple of weeks from now.
Still many deaths from that coronavirus, hope it doesn't spread all over the world. What a funny world we're in these days eh Larry! Still many knife killings in the London area again, I was saying to Liz this morning, even if we were given a free top class house in London I'd refuse to take the offer, because it's so b----y dangerous to live there. Sorry pal, no treats this week, we were unable to make the trip to Tesco's 'cos I wasn't in the mood for shopping.
Take care pal, hope to see you next week on here.

How do Fussy, well the weather was b****y awful last nightand into this morning, the wind was so strong I would'nt have been surprised if we'd woken up today to find ourseves in Devon It rained for a long time too, but it's ceared up a bit this afternoon, still very windy but the rains stopped at the moment and weve even seen a gimpse of sunshine, so I thought I'd risk a quick trip down here before it got worse again.Saw a lot of branches broken off trees on the drive down -- I even saw what looked like somebody's underwear stuck on top of a hedge, I hope the ownwer of that has got another set to wear or else he's going to be feeling very chilly today

Hope this coronavirus doesnt spread too far abroad, I think we're pretty safe out here as we do'nt see many people, especially not ones who travel to foreign countries, but younever know do you, someone might meet someone who's been to China, or who's been in contact with someone who has, so I suppose we all just have to keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.

Speaking for myself I wouldnt go to London of they paid me, I hate big cities, I'm a country boy through and through

Anyway, I'm not stopping very long today as I want to try and get back before it gets dark. Hope your checkup goes well on Wednesday.See you next week all being well.

Hi Larry. I'm on call for a possible visit to the hospital today, so this may be just a few lines. The surgeon has decided to clear the cataract in my right eye as well, even though it's a very small cataract, so I might have a perfect vision after this mini job.
Wow! This is lousy weather isn't it, bitterly cold and windy and some heavy rain on times.
Hope that perishing coronavirus doesn't spread any more throughout the world. It' a frightening type of threat isn't it.
I expect you find it tough doing your job in this kind of weather pal.
Got the treats for you today, so go get your bag. Ok, here goes, Boomph it's a Guinness as usual. and 4 Teasers for the 'bosses', and a small Ferrero Rocher for your 'better half'.
Well, as I expect it might be a call any minute, so I'll go and get ready to take the short trip of a couple of hundred yards to the Sancta Maria.
Take care pal, hope the roads down you way are not covered with six inches or more water.
See you next Sunday. Hope you are all in good health.

Hi Fussy, well I'm a bit late posting again this week but not my fault, I was here early but this place has been having problems with their power since the storm and the computer's been going on and off. I was afraid that I might have to go home without posting anything, but it's stayed on for the last five minutes now, so I'm hoping I can type fast eough to finish this before it goes off again.

Hope your second cataract op goes well, if you end up with perfct vision you'll be doing better than me, either my eyesight's getting worse with age or the newspaper print is a lot smaller these days

Ya the weather's been bloody awful over this last week. Today has'nt been so bad, it was sunny most of the day and dry until about 15 minutes ago when it started to rain.It was still cold thoughdespite the sunshine and the wind is enough to cut you in half at times. I saw a lot ofdamaged trees on the drive down here today and water on the roads. Hope Pauline's ok down there as from what I've seen on the news the coastal area have had it a lot worse. At least she's far enough from the coast to not have waves breaking over her house, but I bet she can hear it from her place.

Well I'd better sign off now incase this computer goes off again and I lose everything, the light's been flickering so I think the power might go off again at any minute. Thnk you for this weeks goodies Fussy, good luck with the opand see you next week all being well.

Hi Larry. As you can see, I'm dropping you a few lines here on Saturday in case I'm called to go for my cataract op' on Sunday.
Oooooh! The weather is perishing cold here again today, but the sun is shining and no rain so far. Thank goodness we're not likely to be flooded in this part of Swansea, hope not anyway. Must be heartbreaking for those people in the flooded areas of Wales and North of the UK to have their homes and contents ruined, and I hope your area is not likely to be soaked up. And what about that b----y coronavirus which seems to have been spread to several countries, serious isn't it.
I notice that Pauline is still having hilarious goings on at her home, thank God she's got Meg and Moll to bring a smile to her face
Well, that's about it for today pal.
Go get the bag. Here goes, Brrrwmp, it's a Guinness, 4 Teasers and a box of After Eights.
Hope you are all in good health and 'kicking', ho! ho!
See you a week tomorrow. Take care pal.

Howdy Fussy Ca'nt believe another weeks gone by, this time next week it'll be the 1st of March then four weeks after that we'll be putting the clocks forward and I am really looking forward to that Hopefully we'll get some better weather this Summer, these past few months have been hell, one storm after another I feel so sorry for all those poor people who've lost everything in the flooding. We've been ok here, lot of storm damage to the surrounding area, trees down, fields underwater, but we're on fairly high ground so we've stayed dry thank goodness. The kids missed a few days of school because the school buses could'nt get through at one point, but they didn't mind that Lastnight was pretty windy again, but fingers crossed things will start to get better soon.

I must say that if this coronavirus had been confined to the Chinese I would have said maybe it served them right, I've never been preudiced against anyone for their colour, race or anythng else, I've got a few nationalities in my own ancestry, but the way they treay animals out there is disgusting so if they got this virus from what they eat I would have no sympathy for them, but the fact that it's now spreading to other countries is worrying.

Oh well, time to visit facebook now, see what Molly and Meg have been up to since last week Thanks for this week's treats, good luck with your op and all being well see you next week

Hi Larry. Sorry pal it'll have to be a shorty today, I'm not feeling too good, got a bit of a cold and chesty cough. So to save you disappointment I crept up these 39 steps to let you know. The weather is icy cold here, I bet it's the same down your way, but it's funny to have bits of sunshine every few minutes, and then dark and dreary for a few minutes followed by rain.
Well, what a terrible frightening thing the coronavirus is, it's all over the world, or almost anyway. Hope it gets killed off soon.
That's it then for today pal.
Take care, Hope you are all OK.
See you next Sunday.

Afternoon Fussy, sorry to hear your not feeling too well, hope you'll be better soon. This flipping weather does'nt help does it, it's enough to make you wonder if it's time to take a leaf from Noah's book and start building an ark I have'nt seen any sunshine at all around here today, just rain, although I can see some patches of blue sky through the window at the moment, but I do'nt expect that'll last long because it's going to get dark soon anyway Hard to believe that this time last year it was almost as warm as Summer
Yea this damn coronavirus seems to be spreading does'nt it, mainly from people travelling back from China. Beats me why anybody would ever want to go there in the first place, I could never visit any country where they treat animals so horribly. It's bad enough that they eat dogs and cats at all, but the way they treat them before they eat them is a million times worse I'm very glad that I've never eaten food from any Chinese restaurant or takeaway, god only knows what they might serve you

By the wy, I had problems signing in here again today. I logged in as usual and the message popped up 'Yoy signed in successfuly' but then as soon as I tried to reply to you it made me sign in again so I do'nt know what's going on, maybe Pauline can have a look at it later ?

Oh well, time for my weekly pilgrimage to facebook now (well it's a bit like going to church because it only happens on a sunday Hope your feeling better soon and hopefully I'll see you next week.

Hi Larry. Would you believe it, the sun is shining at it's best here so far today, it's hotter than its been this winter, perhaps we'll have an early spring. Thanks for your reply last week. I am feeling better than I was last Sunday, but I'm still not my normal self, I struggled a bit to get up here again today, but I don't complain, at my age I don't expect to be 100% fit anyway.
Well, what a carry-on eh! The coronavirus thing is spreading around the world, and causing a hell of a panic. It is hopeless trying to control the thing when millions of people are travelling around the earth. It's one hell of a problem, let's hope it will be controlled by the medics in every country.
I an still waiting for a call from the hospital for my eye job, I don't really need it, because my sight is absolutely spot-on, but the eye specialist told me it's best to have the job done.
Right then, go get the bag. Here goes, Bbblwwwmp it's a Guinness as usual, and 4 Teasers, and a box of Fererro Rocher.
Hope you caught the lot.
Take care pal. See you next Sunday

Afternoon Fussy Yea, not a bad day here today, the sun's been shining most of the time, not all that warm though, there's a bit of a cold breeze with it, but it's definately an improvement on what we've had for the past gew months

Thought I was'nt going to get signed in here again today, took ages for this computer to get started, the chap who owns this place says that it's been playing up since the storms, he lost his electricity a couple of times too, so fingers crossed it stays on at least until I've finished typing this

Yes, I hear they've had a couple of cases of coronavirus here in Waes now I thoughtwe were pretty saafe here, being miles from anywhere and we rarely go very far from home, but you never know where the people you come into contact have been do you Beats me why people are so mad about travelling all over the place, I think the scenery we've got right here on our doorstop is as good as anywhere and a lot better that some of those foreign places I've seen pictures of.

Time to pop over to facebook now I think. Thank you for the Guinness, the Teasers and Fererro Rocher Hope you'll be back to your old self soon and see you net week all being well

Looks as if Larry is unable to get down to wherever he goes to on Sundays to use the computer This coronavirus is causing a lot of worry and upset isn’t it I hadn’t been out very much even before it started, and now, just when the weather is finally improving and I’m feeling more up to getting out and enjoying it I’m stuck indoors in isolation because with all the various medication I’m taking my immune system might be weak and I don’t want to expose myself to any danger. Hopefully this horrible pandemic will be over in a few months and we can all get back to normal. In the meantime I hope you’re taking care and keeping yourselves safe.

We’ve also got another problem at the moment which I’ve explained in another post. Fingers crossed I’ll get that sorted out soon too. If not I’ll have to start searching for some new options

Hi Pauline. What a carry-on eh! This coronavirus is absolutely devastating throughout the whole world and causing mayhem even in our small villages here in Wales. And I notice it interrupts your little walks with Meg and Mol around your area.
Hope it doesn't mess up your lifestyle too long. Take care.
Thinking of you each day.

Sorry I couldn’t put a birthday banner up for you yesterday Fussy, but I’m still not able to get into my Pauline’s Patch website where all the photos and so on are stored They’re still taking my money every month but so far I’m having no luck in finding out why I can’t access the site. It’s just one more thing in a very long list of stuff that’s gone wrong lately and I’m getting really disheartened by it all
