Hi Larry. I was just going to say,...hope the site keeps behaving itself now, when Pauline's message says, it's b******d up her pictures again. Well, it's looking a bit funny again today, and without the other 37 previous chatlines it looks b****y odd. I was going to feel good now because things worked pretty well last Sunday. We'll just have to scribble a few lines, and hope for the best.
Weather's a bit dodgy now and again innit, wet and windy one minute then sunshine for a few hours, then semi darkness for a while. Loads of leaves have fallen here, another month and we will be able to see the houses across the road. There are 5 fairly huge trees in the small green opposite our spot, and there's a thick pile of leaves covering the road and pavements at the moment.
Well, Megan and Molly are keeping Pauline occupied by the look of things. I'm glad that Pauline has their company, because at the moment they are a houseful of joy for her.
OK! Go get your tumbler. Here goes, Sppppllish,..it's a Guinness. Now get your large plate, it's Apple tart again, here goes Bwwwwwwmp,
Now cup your hands...Flip flop flop flip Right then, it's a small Ferrero Rocher. Liz couldn't resist buying it cos it was reduced by over a pound, here goes Pllllooop. Hope you caught the lot, pal.

Well, I hope this thing keeps going, and Pauline gets her pic's back.
Take care pal, take it easy, cos you've got a long stretch ahead of you.
I hope you get this posting, Larry.

Hi Fussy, so all the pics have vanished again then, that's a damn shame, it looks sort of bald on here without them, hope Pauline can find out what's wrong and get them back again. At least these posts have''nt disappeared again but it's certainly very queer without all the others to look back on. Pauline must be gutted to have lost over 13 years worth of posts after all the hard work she's put in to her sites over the years

Yea we're definately well into the "A"season now are'nt we, piles of leaves everywhere clogging up the drains and today's been very grey and miserable and with the clocks going back last night it's going to get dark even earlier from now on Pauline wo'nt be happy about it, though maybe it wo''nt bother her so much now that she's got the pups to cheer her up and take her mind off things

Still, a bit of miserable weather does'nt seem so bad compared with what other countries have to put up with, I hear that Italy's just had another earthquake, the 4th in the past few months, it must be terrifying to suffer something like that, I feel so sorry for all those people.

Well time to pop over to facebook I suppose, thanks for this weeks treats, you can't beat the combination of Guinness and Apple tart Look after yourself until I see you next week, and I hope Pauline will have managed to et her pics back by then

Hey, just as I posted that your avatar and signature reappeared, so maybe that's a good sign that things are starting to get back to normal No sign of mine, but at least some of the pics reappearing is a start

Well I really don't know what's going on at the moment. As I said before, this isn't a problem with forumco, the fault lies with Angelfire/Lycos who were hosting my Pauline's Patch website and also storing the photos that I use on here. I tried signing in to the Angelfire website to find out wht was going on, but it seems that the entire Angelfire site has vanished too. I have now managed to send a message to Lycos (who own Angelfire) but I don't know if it's gone through to them because there seem to be a few hiccups on the Lycos website too at the moment. So it seems that all I can do for the moment is wait to see what happens, so soon as I hear something I'll let you know. This is really annoying me, I just hope they haven't gone bust like my previous website a few years ago, I'm getting fed-up with having to start all over again

It's not just me anyway, I was searching around the internet for information and I came across this websiteYou must be logged in to see this link. according to this Angelfire has been down since last Friday, but nobody seems to know why, or how soon, if ever, it's likely to come back

Well! What next, eh. I really thought you'd got things running again Pauline. Hell, it's been a disaster for you hasn't it, having lost your stream of pictures of your young days, and the numerous number of chats in those 37 periods...gone for ever by the look of things.
I know that this hiccup has taken a lot of your time, having done your best to sort things out, but really Pauline you can't go on for ever doing this. I honestly don't mind if the site has come to it's end, much as we've had endless chit-chats, has been a wonderful get-together, but you can't go on spending hours upon hours, and getting sudden crashes of the site. Think about it.
Those two little beauties of yours are proving to be a joy for you, another couple of months and they will be a blessing for you in and around walls of your house.
Take care, and don't worry about the perishing Angelfire.

Well blow me down with a feather ! Everything's back now. Wonder how long it'll last this time

I'm not thinking of giving up on tis site Fussy, as long as Forumco keeps going I'll stick with it, but I might start looking into somewhere else to store the photos so that they don't keep disappearing every time the other site has a blip. I've been looking into ways of hosting them on my own computer, but it seems complicated and I'm not sure I could figure it all out. Easier to have them hosted on a professional site (if only the b******* wouldn't keep having these blooming blips all the time )

Hi Larry. Just in case of more problems with this site, or a possible raid on this house by kidnappers, go get your tumbler. Right, here goes Sssspllish, it's Guinness, now get your big plate, OK here goes Bllllwmp, a Apple tart, hope you caught it. Now for the Teasers, Crrrrrash. And here's the box of After Eights for, you know who.
Well what a carry-on eh! Pauline has had one hell of a time delving into the perishing Angelfire, and now it seems to have settled things, and according to Pauline it seems as if it is back to normal. Hope so anyway.
Weather is sunny here today, but it's chilly, and as usual likely to change any minute to rain, and windy. Starts going dark about 5-30 now. However, the weather is least of our troubles, eh Larry. What about the poor people of Aleppo, their Hospitals were bombed again with patients killed as well as doctors. What a catastrophe, and the poor souls have no defense whatsoever. It's just like the endless bombings of WW2.
Nice to know that Megan and Molly are keeping Pauline busy with their goings-on. I think she's got two little beauties there. They've got lovely coat markings haven't they.
Oh! dear, times up, I've got to go
See you next Sunday pal.
Take care, hope you are all well, and kicking.

How do Fussy Oh I'm so glad to see all the pics are back at last, such a shame that we ca'nt get all the old posts back too but at least with the wallpaper and art works restored it's beginning to look more like home now

Well we had a bit of sunshine here too earlier on but it did'nt last long it's been raining on and off for the past few hours and there's a perishing cold wind blowing, it's proper brass monkey weather as my old gran would say I had a fright last night too, I was out in the fields just after dark, getting ready to set up a few fireworks when all of a sudden this white shape came flapping over the hedge and scared me out of my woolly socks, I thought I was being attacked by a ghost Turned out it was a tablecloth that had blown off a neighbours washing line

Yea Megan and Molly are lovely looking pups, they look cheeky too, I bet Pauline's got her hands full chasing them around They'll be great when they're grown up too, they'll be her companions and her protectors. Collies are fantastic dogs in every way.

Did you see that bit in the news that later this month the moon is going to be closer to the earth than it's been for 68 years? It said that on the 14th of the month the full moon over Swansea Bay will be bigger and brighter than it's been since 1948, they called it a supermoon and it said it will be the same again in December but then it won't happen again until 2034. Hope the weather will be fine that night so we can get a good view of it.

Oh well, time to pay my weekly visit to facebook now I suppose, then off home before it gets dark - and hope I don't meet any more tablecloth ghosts along the way It's creepy enough when your on foot, but image what could happen if something like that was to blow onto your windscreen, it could cause a nasty accident. Thanks for this weeks goodies Fussy, take care until next week

Oh heck, that was what you call a flying visit was'nt it still, at least I know your ok and your typing finger is still in working order Hope whatever the unexpected happening was it was nothing serious anyway.

Have you seen any of these giant rats I've been hearing about on the news? It said that motorists in Swansea have reported seeing rats as big as cats on the roads Blimey, I'm not bothered by rats generally, but ones that big sound a bit off-putting, hope we do'nt get any that size getting into the feed stores, not sure the farm cats could cope!!

I think Winter has definately arrived now, it's been a miserable week, there were a couple of sunny spells but even with the sunshine it was still cold. Ca'nt believe it's only 6 weeks til Christmas, the year seems to have flown by.

Ca'nt think of much else to say now so I might as well pay my weekly visit to facebook. Thanks for the treats Fussy, hope you have time for a longer chat next week.

Hi Larry. Sorry about the quickie last Sunday. Unexpectedly, Liz had a nasty eyesight reaction after returning from Singleton Hospital after her monthly checkup. It was a sudden blurring of her sight, and she could only open one eye which was like looking into a fog. So it was just in time to be able to see her doctor at 5 o'clock. The doctor was quite concerned and during the chat about this and that, Liz told the Doc that the only thing she could think of what could have happened was that she had possibly inhaled some baking powder whilst making Apple tarts. The Doctor agreed that it could very well be the cause, and gave her a treatment of 3 tablets a day for a week. She was able to open both eyes last Tuesday, and today she's back to normal, but what a perishing fright Larry. During the start of last week I was starting to worry my head off,....how the hell could I do the cooking, the use of the washing machine, the dryer, how the hell could I do the pension dealing down the Post Office, and buying the other odds and ends
Lousy weather, but not as bad as it's been in the south of England this morning.
No, I haven't seen any huge rats here in Swansea, big as cats eh!

Sorry, no treats this week Pal, as you can guess we haven't been able to get our goods yet.
Well, that's it for this week Larry.
Take care pal, hope you are all well.

Oh dear, sorry to hear about that, must have been really frightening for Liz - and you too. So glad she's over it now.tell her Larry sends his love

Been blooming cold here this week, not to mention wet and windy Early mornings have been freezing and I believe they've had snow up in the Beacons. Have'nt seen any of it here yet but we've had hailstones and sleet and some very strong winds. I heard that some houses here in Carmarthenshire were without electricity after the wind brought down some trees and damaged the power lines. Also heard that a lot of caravans got blown over somewhere, but I think that was up in Scotland.

Glad you have'nt been bothered by those giant rats Fussy If it had been just one person who'd reported seeing them I'd have suspected that they'd started on the Christmas spirits a bit too early But it seems that quite a few motorists saw them on the roads so I suppose there must be something in it. Maybe it's something in the water around Swansea, if it is you'd better stick to drinking Baileys incase you grow too big to get into the room where your computer is

Suppose I'd better pop across to facebook now. Do'nt worry about the lack of treats Fussy m8, the missis has decided we ought to lose a bit of weight in the next couple of weeks anyway to make room for all the Christmas grub - well she decided that SHE should lose some weight anyway, so we've all got to put up with eating less fattening food so she wo'nt be tempted Never mind, it wo'nt last long, she's never been very good at sticking to diets

Take care and see you next week.

Hi Larry. Oh, we are back on the Anti Spam code again,...it's plain enough today, sometimes you can't read the perishing thing.
Weather lousy one minute, and sunshine the next, it certainly is a bit chilly now and again. I bet it's damn cold when you set out for your daily shift, at 6 am is it ?
I see that Pauline had a difficult trip with Megan and Molly last Monday on her trip to Kilgetty, she couldn't get them into the carrier so she had to take them walkies, and the leads of course, cos they're grown a bit now aren't they, and it must have been a hell of a trip 'cos it poured with rain, and they were soaked.
Good grief! Christmas is just around the corner pal, time has flown. Bet the youngsters are looking forward to a few pressies each. Oh! I often have a little giggle to myself when I think back to the 1920s when I was about 3 or 4, I used to get a box of Fry's 5 Boys Chocolates, and perhaps a pencil and a rubber, that was it. Ha! Ha! Ha!
Go get your tumbler, oh no, it's 2 tins of Lager today, Bwmp bwmp. Now get a big plate, here goes...it's a Apple tart with a tarty Lamb in the middle. Clever Liz! Cup your hands then, here goes, 4 Teasers for the 'bosses.' And not forgetting your 'better half', it's a box of After Eights, here goes....Ploddddge.
Have you noticed, that there has been an enormous increase in the popularity of the Dog in the past year, and the damn sadness of the increase of the ill treatments of the priceless animal. The law is an ass Larry! The cruelties one reads about are so wicked, I wouldn't hesitate to put the b******s behind bars for the rest of their lives. Sickening, innit!
Take care pal, slow down a bit here and there.

Howdy Fussy Well that's odd about the anti-spam code innit, do'nt think I've ever had to enter an anti-spam code on here (Or if I have I do'nt remember doing it)

Ooh yea, last Monday was a bloody awful day here too, I feel sorry for Pauline having to take the pups out in that Wonder who the vets are in Kilgetty these days ? I can't remember the names of the ones that were there wen we lived there and I think they changed round about the same time we moved away anyway.

Yep, last Monday was a real stinker of a day here too, but the rest of the week was much better, mostly dry with quite a bit of sunshine, but bitterly cold though and very windy. Today has'nt been too good, bit of sunshine early on that did'nt last long and the rest of the day's been grey and miserable.

We did'nt have an awful lot of Christmas prezzies when I was a kid either, usually an annual, a selection box, a couple of cheap toys and some new clothes. We were'nt all that thrilled with the clothes because we did'nt think of them as proper presents, they were just things we needed anyway because we kept growing out of the old stuff When I see what some kids get for Christmas nowadays I'm amazed, I think some parents must have more money than sense.

I see some of those horrible stories of animal abuse on facebook and it makes me quite glad at times that I'm only able to visit once a week because if I was seeing that sort of thing every day I do'nt think I could stand it Oh well, speaking of facebook I'd better trek across there now I suppose and then home. It's already dark outside and one of my headlights has been playing up, hope it lasts for the journey home.

Thanks for the treats m8 See you next week.

You were right Larry, the blooming clock had thrown a wobbly again I think I've got it re-set to the right time now, but it's really annoying me as that's the third time I've had to alter it in the last month

When I first started this website (back in the Dark Ages) I think the Forumco servers were in Ireland, which meant they were in the same Time Zone as us, so when the clocks changed in March and October I didn't have to do anything because the site clock changed automatically. But in the last few years it's been all over the place and I don't know where I am any more, sometimes, in March and October, the time will suddenly change, but the change isn't consistent, sometimes it will suddenly jump ahead of us and other times it will fall behind us, so I'll change it to the correct time only to find that a couple of weeks later it's gone wrong again !

I understand that the reason it changes is probably because whatever country te servers are in change from Summertime to Winter time on different dates from the UK, but in that case we should catch up in a few days. It doesn't always work that way though, sometimes te time difference seems to move the wrong way, which makes me suspect that Forumco are moving around from server to server and not always in the same place or the same country.

Anyway, I've changed the time today and checked it all out and it's right at the moment, so fingers crossed it won't change again until some time around the end of March 2017

Oh, by the way Fussy, if you're being asked to enter an anti-spam code it probably means that you aren't logged in to the site. If you log in at the top of the page before typing any messages you don't have to enter the code every time you post something. It should remember your details until you log out again.

Hi Larry. I suddenly realised that I won't be able to chat with you this weekend. We've been invited to a Diamond Wedding Anniversary on Sunday, so it looks as if my weekend will be occupied.
But if I can squeeze a few words to you on here early Sunday morning, I will do so.
At least now you are aware of the snag.
Take care, pal.

Hello Fussy, blimey, 3 messages since last week, that must be a record!! Are you making up for lost time

A Diamond Wedding eh, that's a long time, not sure how long exactly, but I know it's more than a Golden Wedding, so is it 55 or 60 ? That's longer than I've been in the world, even my parents have'nt been married that long but I'm guessing you and Liz have Wonder if me and the missis will still be around to celebrate ours

Been bloomin cold here this past week, the sun's been shining at times but it does'nt warm you up much and the nights have been b****y freezing The frost's been so thick some mornings that I thought it had been snowing during the night. But at least it's been dry which is a blessing, you can pile extra clothes on against the cold, but working outside in pouring rain with mud up to your armpits is a real killer

Only 3 weeks to go til Christmas now, do'nt know where the time's gone, it does'nt seem more than a couple of months since we were taking the decorations down and now we're putting them back up again.

I heard on the news that a Swan was rescued from a shopping centre in Swansea, not far from the Liberty stadium. Maybe she'd heard that it was the home of The Swans and thought they were relatives It said she was ok though and would be released back into the wild soon.

Oh well, time for the weekly trek across to facebook (it's a long walk ) Thanks for the treats, you forgot to say what was going on my plate this week but I expect I'll know when I taste it Take care, love to Liz and see you next week all being well.

Hi Larry. Sorry I forgot to drop your tart last Sunday,...my kidnappers were stood behind my back as I was typing your message, they were pushing me, with threats that scared me,....cheeky devils!
Well, the weather is changeable innit, but it's not been very cold yet, but it's to come next month, so they say.
Anyway, let's get your treats for today in case I muck it up again. Go get your tumbler. OK here goes Spppplish, a Guinness pal. Now get a big plate, it's Apple tart, here goes Plwwwmp, hope you caught it. Now cup your hands, 4 Teasers for the 'bosses,' and now get ready for this big box of Cadbury's Roses chockies, Zzzzwmmmpp,...for your lovely lady, hope you caught it.
Now for a bit of news for iw. I won't be able to chat with you next Sunday 'cos I will be busy for most of the day,...it's Liz's 80th Birthday and a party has been arranged to be held in a hotel here in Swansea, so I will be struggling about here and there to try to keep up with the usual partying nonsence
I see you've spent a few minutes on Facebook and seen Pauline's reports on her lifestyle these days, some of them are so funny, and Megan and Molly keep her occupied, and they certainly are putting on a bit of weight aren't they.
Well, that's it for today pal, can see it's going to be a busy couple of weeks for you both from now on. Santa will certainly pay a visit to the 4 'bosses.'
Take care pal, see you later.

How do Fussy Oh that's a pity that you wo'nt be here next week well not a pity because it's Liz's birthday, that's nice and I hope she has a lovely day , I only meant that if you wo'nt be here next Sunday and the Sunday after that is Christmas day when Iprobably wo'nt be able to get here, it could be a few weeks before we speak to each other again

Hard to believe it's only 2 weeks away now, do'nt know where the last year has gone. It's certainly looking very Christmassy on here now, and that's a lovely photo of Molly and Megan up there, I wonder what they'll think of their first Christmas ? If I know Pauline I bet they'll be getting a lot of presents and treats Hope they do'nt decide to chew the decorations or knock the tree over, at least they wo'nt lift their legs on it because they're both girls

I'm surprised it has'nt been very cold where you are Fussy, it's been blooming freezing here at night, there was a frost again last night and we've had some icy cold rain, think there was some sleet in it.

Oh well, I'm running a bit late today so I'd better hop across to facebook now. Thanks for all the goodies this week, I might persuade the missis to share those Cadbury's Roses with me, I like the Brazil nut ones (I was gonna say see you next week, but as you wo'nt be here I'll see you whenever I see you next )

Looks like you did'nt have time to pop in yesterday after all,but never mind, hope your having a great time at Liz's birthday party It's only just struck me what you'd written last week, that it was her 80th birthday. I seem to remember that you were 94 on your last birthday, so unless the 80 was a misprint that makes you 14 years older than Liz. I did'nt realise you'd got yourself a young dolly bird there Fussy, good on you

Well only a week to go now til the big day, the missis is running round in circles trying to get everything ready, why does everybody always go bonkers at Christmas, it's like they were in a competition to see who can buy the most expensive presents and the most food (half of which gets chucked out after Christmas anyway because it's gone stale). I told my lot that as long as we're all together, fit and well and have enough to eat that's all that really matters, anything else is just a bonus.

Suppose I'd better pop over to facebook now. I do'nt think I'll be able to get here next Sunday (for obvious reasons ), but I've got to go to Carmarthen on Christmas Eve, so I might be able to pop in for a few minutes on the way back. If not I hope you all have a great Christmas and I'll see you some time soon.

Here's wishing all my friends on here namely:- Pauline, Bob, Larry, The Gravedigger, crazynance, Beacon Girl, and Gemini, a VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS and A HEALTHY and WEALTHY NEW YEAR.

I'm quite likely to be kidnapped anytime now, so I may not be back on here for at least 8 or 10 days.

Meant to try and pop in here on my way back from Carmarthen earlier, but things took longer than I thought so I'm a bit late, but as I won't be here tomorrow (because somebody told me it's Christmas Day ) I was determined to get down here tonight to wish you all a very Happy Christmas

Ca'nt hang around because I promised the missis I'd be home before 9 and she'll have my guts for garters if I'm late Hope you all have a great Christmas and I'll see you next year
