Love, play me like a Violin, extract a melody.
( I might need tuning up a bit, my strings have gone off-key ! )
My Bridge don't Arch,my Fret's on edge,my Bow's bent like the moon
But stay composed and scrape away--you might still raise a tune !
My Soundboard's deaf,my Neck is broke,my Pegs have all'pegged out'
My Nuts are cracked, my Fingerboard's been handed SUCH a clout !
My Ribs are full of woodworm and my Belly's got dry rot.
(If you put me up for Auction dear, I wouldn't raise a lot ! )
My Tailpiece has been sat on and some think I've had my day,
But 'Many a good tune's played on an old fiddle' so they say !
So though I'm not QUITE an Antique (though very far from new)
I swear I'd sing just like a Stradivarius--for YOU !

That is really great , is it all your own work ? I notice you have a copyright sign at the bottom ,is that so no one else can nick it .Or does it mean it belongs to someone else ,I am not very well up on this sort of thing .

It's all my own work BG. It's not a new one, but 'One I made earlier' ( as they say on the TV). I finally figured out how to get that copyright sign at the bottom, but I don't know if it makes any difference without the name of the author !
Problem is, if I sign my on name everybody will know who I am, but if I put 'Clueless' it could be anybody !
I guess I'll just have to hope for the best and assume that I don't have any 'tea-leaves' posting on my site ! ! LOL 
( Those words are all parts of a Violin by the way ! )
