I bet Gemini has already done this one and it is a posh variation on your fave!
Follow the Carbonara recipe but.....
Use a tub of creme fraiche instead of the cream and also substitute the bacon and the cheese for 3oz of Pecorino cheese and 6 slices of Parma ham and some chopped fresh parsley.
if you try it let me know how it goes but it is a bit rich for me I think I will stick to the carbonara myself.
Creme Fraiche is lovely when you chuck it on top of fresh fruit, like sliced nectarines, strawberries & grapes, then sprinkle brown sugar on top & gt it all bubbling under a grill - yum!
